Great food, very friendly team, Renee always cheerful. Regular visitor, always make time to stop for meal.

Lovely breakfast and coffee. Best I have had in the area. Well decorated and welcoming, just a shame there is very limited seating.

Had a breakfast here this morning wasn't impressed withe food my sausages were well under cooked, I did tell staff so the plonked them in a deep fat fryer and bought them back out with my luke warm breakfast , toast also tasted stale, although the staff are very polite and chatty, but think I will be going for a weather'spoons breakfast in future.

Absolutely fantastic breakfast, very reasonably priced as well, staff are very friendly and pleasant. Definitely will be going again .

The food was excellent, and the staff were so lovely. There were 5 adults and 7 dogs in our group, and they made us very welcome.

Visited Rens for the first time today as we were looking for somewhere to get some lunch. The cafe is so lovely and cosy inside. The staff are so kind and helpful, you can feel the place has such a lovely vibe, especially how the staff know the regulars and remember who they are and what they like. The food was SO good and filling as well as really good value for money. I love supporting local places, I’ll certainly be back and be recommending to everyone I know!

I have visited a few times and have had a lovely experience every time. The staff are very welcoming and the food is great. Lunch is amazing, especially when Ren does a special home made dish. She is an excellent chef! A great atmosphere, very friendly and amazing food. What more could you ask for!

The service, the quality and the atmosphere here is all top notch. Ren and her team are all very friendly and helpful. They make you feel very welcome. The food is all from quality suppliers. All standrads are the very best. There are a lot of places to try in Wellington but none of them match up to Rens in my view.

What a fabulous place. We were recommended by friends and they werent wrong. It's unusual now to find somewhere where the food is such good quality, cooked fresh, but you can still afford. It reminds me of a Mediterranean holiday! And Ren is lovely :) Looking forward to visiting again soon.

Had an amazing breakfast today at RENs, it was our first visit but definitely won't be the last. My son had a waffle with strawberries and I had avocado with poached eggs. Both dishes were fantastic, presented beautifully and cooked to perfection. Very well priced and really helpful, friendly service. Highly recommended it!!!

Tried this place for the first time today as I’m new to the area and looking for a good cafe.. we were told it would be a wait which we were fine with, the lady was friendly and it was clearly very busy.. but the claim of butcher sausages is wrong and the swearing where customers can hear is also unpleasant and uncomfortable, we didn’t mind the wait but for the language heard more then once it came across very unprofessional I wouldn’t eat here again although the hash browns were lovely. Update- after such a bad experience last time and it now being under new management we were excited to try Rens and what a breath of fresh air! The atmosphere was calm even though it was busy, the lady’s were so polite and welcoming, the food was stunning and the milkshakes are the best in town! We are so happy we have found our new favourite breakfast spot! The update of the décor makes it feel fresh and clean such a pleasure to have this on our doorstep and will be recommending it to everyone!

My Fiancé and I have recently moved into the area. We decided to pop into Wellington yesterday to check out our nearest town. After exploring we decided to find somewhere for lunch. We found this absolute little “gem”. Excellent food at an affordable price, lovely friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. We will definitely be returning 😊😊

I’ve been multiple times to this wonderful cafe and enjoyed something from both the breakfast and lunch menu . The Rens full English was delicious and cooked to perfection and the tuna melt was a perfect light bite . Not only is the food amazing but the staff who work here are polite and welcoming .

Visited on Tuesday for the first time since they took over from the previous owners. So glad to find a calm pleasant atmosphere. Friendly professional staff and the best coffee and an awesome new menu. I can't wait to go back. It was very busy which is a good sign. I had to wait for a table. The lady at the counter was so apologetic and accomodating. I had a bottle of water and a chat while I waited. I ordered a bacon and halloumi sandwich with a latte. What a combination! My friend had a full English. The beans came in a separate dish and there were fresh tomatoe halves. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. These lovely ladies are a fitting replacement for Izzy.

Top coffee and great atmosphere. Have visited REN’s cafe a couple of times now since it’s reopened. The coffee is really good, strong and lovely flavour. Breakfasts are fab too and you can tell the ingredients are all high quality. It’s often busy but that’s the sign of a good cafe right? Lovely service too.

Been here twice now for breakfast. 2nd time it was very busy but managed to get the last table available. Was told that there would be a wait for food but I didn't mind that.The staff were lovely and friendly. This was on the Saturday morning of the coronation and the young school girl who was working there, sorry but I forget your name, was extremely delightful and very professional. Well done. The wait was well worth it as the food was hot and of excellent quality.

Justifiably very busy but excellent cafe. I had a bacon, sausage and cheese sandwich which was very good along with the best coffee I've had in a cafe in a long time.

I visited izzys a week ago with my children and when we arrived it was quite busy but not so busy that we couldn't get a table, on arrival we were told we would have a 20 minute wait on food which I don't mind at all coming from the catering industry myself. Much to my surprise we waited nearly 45 minutes to even order our food and then a further 20 minutes for our food to come to the table, the sausages which are advertised as butchers sausages do not seem to be anything like butchers sausages, being a high level chef for years I can tell the difference between processed meat and butcher prepared meat, luckily for me my children were well behaved as an hour is along time for an adult to wait never mind a child! We finally received our breakfast and were enjoying most of it when the lady who served us and her son (I am presuming) burst into an argument and she ended up banishing him from the kitchen, which again from my professional experience is not only damaging to your reputation but also very unfriendly for children and elderly customers who visit so often. Overall experience was pretty poor and I won't be returning which is a shame because the previous owners made it run like clock work and now it's falling apart. And is in desperate need of a professional in the buisness.

I know I should have had tea with my breaky but I really needed coffee, anyway it didn't disappoint. I would definitely go back. Value for money. A good authentic place. Cannot fault the people running it. Feels like a bit of a hub for locals and I notice lots of friendly chat between staff and customers. That's really nice these days.

Went in to the cafe after the doctors for a breakfast to be told I had to wait as the lady that was serving didn’t have a cigarette since 6am and was gasping …. Also heard her arguing very loudly in the kitchen with the gentleman that was cooking … I’m sorry but this is disgusting behaviour in front of the little customers that were in there!!

This used to be a great place. I think Izzy is no longer there because the woman serving today was not very good we waited for 15 mins before asking if we had to order at the counter she said she had one drink to make then she would be over three drinks and four food deliveris and we were still waiting. There was even an argument between her and the male chef whick everyone could hear very unprofessional. Having used Izzys in the past I know she would never let anyone else cook food she would rather close the place. This leads me to believe she has moved on and the people now running it dont care half as much. Izzy would have had a drink in front of you in mins of you sitting down and never a 20 min wait to put an order in. My advice get rid of the fancy coffee machine it takes too long and start being more involved with your customers. My family and I will think twice now and there is a cafe down the road a bit that served us in under 10 mins. Drink and meal. Re owners reply There were four tables occupied one had finished eating one had two old ladies sat chatting mine and one with 3 men sat waiting for canned drinks and food. You did state that you would be over after you made one drink which you did make but carried one doing other things making us wait even longer including serving the table with cold drinks and toast. It was this that made us leave. If you cannot handle 5 tables, your full amount, and talk to a chef rather than shout then you should not be in this business I also suggest you fully read comments before you reply to them.

Had another lovely breakfast. All cooked fresh to order. Liz and Jay are friendly and accommodating. It's reasonably priced, and lovely and clean. If busy there might be a short wait, but understandable as everything is cooked fresh. Definately recommend. 5☆s.

Limited menu but the food and service was excellent.

Open early on a Saturday. Called in as I'm trying different cafes at the moment. Had to have the gut buster. It's was not super big but a good feed. All items were good quality ingredients and not greasy. I was very pleased and this has been the best breakfast by far. I would recommend and I'll defo use again in the near future. Give it a try. Free car parking outside but you must display a ticket from the machines.

A plesent little cafe at the top of New St. I had a cappuccino which was nice and a breakfast mwith toasted thick bread. Staff friendly. And keen to poease t's a cash or card cafe and prices are reasonable.

Me and my mum have popped into Izzys cafe a couple of times now.The staff are lovely and friendly .Food always served on warm plates .mums food always cooked perfectly .Nothing to much trouble even my hot chocolate nice and hot and yummy.good value for money will be going back again. Thank you.

We were regulars at izzys cafe, however since the new management have taken over the quality seems to have dropped and the prices gone up considerably. The gut buster breakfast really isn't worth it. Black pudding slice (1 single slice which I thought was very stingy) was over cooked and rubbery. And you only get 1 hashbrown now. Timings way off aswel, my food bought out a while before my partners. Going to losse a lot of buisness if things dont change rapidly. Safe to say we won't back again. Please come back izzy.....

I visited izzys cafe on the 25th august. With witch I wish I had neaver bothered, my coffee cup was dirty with coffee spills down the side of the cup from the previous customer. Since izzy has left the cafe has most certainly gone down hill. The new owner don't have what it takes to run the cafe. She also over charged us a couple of times. Won't be visiting again.

I popped in for a sarnie with my kids.1st of all,the place was spotless and 2nd izzy was just amazing as my son has lots of allergies and she was very attentive when I informed of this.i had a bacon sarnie,a sausage sarnie and a bacon and sausage sarnie with a cup of tea.The food was cooked just right and it cost me less than a tenner.i would highly recommend and have added some photos.5 stars.

Fantastic a great breakfast two big ones 2 sausages 2 bacon 2 eggs tomatoes beans mushrooms and 2 slices of fresh bread toasted like door stops 2 mugs coffee made with milk 11 pound 30p. Friendly staff toilets spotless just go to wellington for breakfast well done you all we will be back
