Me and a group of friends travelled abit of distance for a friend's birthday as we were made to believe it was much better then it was! When the ten of us got there it took us all 45 to a hour to get served as there one was bar waitress on... there was another one behind the bar but she just stood in the corner with a face on her and did nothing! We were made to believe there was 2 for 1 cocktails on also between the hours of 6 and 9 when we asked they haven't got a clue what we were on about. Don't advertise something If your not going to follow through with it. I wouldn't of minded so much but we weren't local we came especially and to he honest it set up for a worse night that the birthday girl just wanted to go home and go bed. There was absolutely zero customer service and of your going to charge mega money for abit of pop atleast have the decency to make your customers feel welcome and get another member of staff.

Visited for bottomless brunch. £35 for 1 hour of sickly pre mixed cocktails (waitress told us they were premixed) and half a small platter of food. Place was dead on a Saturday with no music or ambiance. Wouldn’t recommend.

Was quite excited to try Staffords new Champagne bar, so we booked a table for 2 at 8 on Friday for Tapas and a glass of Fizz. We arrived to be greeted by the doorman who told us if we wanted to stay beyond 9 we would have to pay for the "event" that was going on that night. Information we were not given on booking. Walked into an otherwise empty venue and were offered what appeared to be the only table that wasn't reserved. Asked what the event was we maybe unknowingly getting involved in and was told it was a DJ. We became aware that where we were sitting had the faint aroma of vomit after we had already ordered a drink and we couldn't source the smell. My guess can only be the soft furnishings that hadn't quite be cleaned thoroughly. Unlike any other Champagne bar I've ever been the Fizz menu was small and the Champagne (£105 to £400 per bottle) and is NOT available by the glass. The Tapas was nice however the majority of the menu including the deserts was not available, surprising as it's only open thursday to Sunday you would of thought they would have sufficient supplies. By the time the Tapas arrived around 9 the venue had already been plunged into darkness and we were struggling to see what were were eating. The DJ and his entourage had arrived which was when we truly had to accept we were definitely not in a Champagne bar. Though the doorman approached us and kindly offered to let us stay for free we had by that time decided the venue was not for us, the smell alone had got a bit much and we left. Though when passing again at midnight I was tempted to pay my £5 just to see what was going on in there! Treetops is clearly a late night club venue which starts at nine as its licence is only until 1.30. The vibe by 9.30 inclusive of the rowdy clientele reminded me of what you normally expect in a night club around 2am. That the only way I can describe it. If your expecting tasteful and refined you honestly need to avoid this place, it needs to stop selling itself as a champagne bar and lulling unsuspecting victims under false pretenses.

Be honest about the service offered. The marketing and website leads you to believe this is a upmarket bar/restaurant. When in reality it was filled with drunken chavs vaping at the tables and shouting at other customers, including us. The service was slow, food took an hour from ordering at which point we left as we couldn't stand to be there any longer. You shouldn't be advertising as a champagne bar and have a tiny option of sparkling wines, all over priced, squeezed into the bottom of the drinks menu. We had an expensive bottle of prosecco we couldn't drink, it tasted awful. The music was turned up so loud after we had already been there 30 mins that were you couldn't hear anything. Speaker's were crackling and the sound quality was incredibly poor. Why offer a table service then act like a club? It's misleading and honestly ruined our evening. If we had known what it was like we would have booked one of the numerous other great restaurants in town.

Food came cold, even some of it still frozen! Sent it back and the second lot also came out cold, third try and it was ok. Definitely not tapas, more of a small roast dinner. No flavour at all. Very overpriced for how awful it is. Would not return or recommend to anyone.

We went for a Christmas meal, got there for 7 table booked for 7.30 got a few drinks in and sat shouting over the music (now to me if your going for a meal you don't want music blaring over you at 7.30) so waited and waited until 8.15 and yes finally the food arrived but oh the food arrived cold and looking more like a actual meal not tapas like we expected (see picture below). May I add those 3 sprouts, 2 pieces of cauliflower, 1 triangle of cheese, 1 small piece of goats cheese and 1 small turkey pasty for the value of £35 yes that cost me £35 shocker. Sent it back due to it being cold and 7 more of my friends did and then they kept bringing out the wrong orders, now I was getting super hungry but at least I got my meal for 8.40 unlike my poor friend 9.45 yes 9.45. Oh the manager also turned the lights down at 8pm and I'm sorry but I like to see what I'm eating (or maybe I don't there). Anyway ate the meal then the next thing we had a very rude person come up to and be extremely rude to my other friend who had organised this lovely outing so the manager basically told us all to leave and we didn't even get our puddings. Just what a shame we were looking forward to this for a while and had planned on staying there all night. I would only go there if you want cheap food but it's expensive and very loud music before the meals even started. Good luck to anyone that visits.

I booked at the treehouse to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We were shocked as you wouldn’t expect to find a London style bar in Stafford! We were seated by a lovely young lady who explained brilliantly what was in each cocktail! She recommended the black berry ripple and that was my wife’s drink all night! I love rum and what a selection this place has. When the food came it was lovely, I had the beef Yorkshire and turkey package while the veggie wife had goats cheese truffle and Camembert with the best onion chutney we have ever tried. We are not dancers but had great fun watching others. Dj was great and kept us entertained all night. Definitely be back with friends next time.

So as every new business you hear good & bad reviews….. We tried it and booked with the waiter for the following weekend! It’s the perfect spot if you don’t fancy going to a main stream nightclub! DJ’s are great , atmosphere is fantastic and the drinks are perfect.. Food options are small tho , as I think this is more of a drinking establishment and they just offer a tapas menu incase you fancy some finger food ! We will be back! :)

I really enjoyed going to the treehouse. The staff were lovely it was a great atmosphere the food and cocktails were amazing will be coming back.

So we thought we would try here as we’ve seen it advertised on Instagram & we absolutely loved it - staff were so welcoming and friendly really interacted with us asking about our day and plans for the rest of the evening, food was beaut! Prawns to die for & cocktails especially the RMV and the oriental - which was recommended for us to try - INSANE! 100% will come back! Only went for drinks in the afternoon and needed up staying until the end! Amazing vibes

Visited this cocktail bar last month with a few friends and actually have rebook to go again in the new year. I was very surprised with how great the staff were and how nice my experience was, not only did I enjoy the drinks but the ambiance was incredible. The whole place was just really good especially when I know they haven’t been open that long. I did have an issue with my cocktail as it took a little long to come out however not only did they take it off the bill for me, the owner came over with free shots for me and all my pals. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a nice evening.

I recently visited the treehouse due to wanting to hear good music (Which there aren’t many places around Stafford for this) and try some nice cocktails. On arrival I quickly realised this was a luxury venue and was the right vibe I was after. I went on a Saturday where they had a live DJ who played various types of R&B, Hip Hop and dancehall music. The staff were very helpful and were quick on taking my order when we had seated. The drinks were delicious ( I recommend the RMV) After only being a newish venue to Stafford I expected maybe some teething problems however I did not experience any of this! I will definitely recommend this to my friends and I will be returning l!

The worst Christmas meal ever. Food came out cold, yorkshire pudding was still frozen at the bottom. Orders were wrong. Would not say it was tapas at all. Food came out on a board so it just looked like a sparse Sunday roast. The owner/manager was not working but sat with his friends laughing and joking whilst the poor waitress was trying her best to resolve the issues. Never have we been to a venue with such poor customer care standards.

Well where do I start….. I booked the treehouse for our works Christmas party and picked the Christmas Tapas menu. This was £35 per head and there was a party of 15 People. It is not tapas. It is one plate which is a tiny Christmas dinner that they call tapas. We booked the meal to eat at 7:30 and at 8:30 there was still no sign of food. We asked and the food began to come out COLD we sent this back however a few people did eat there’s as it wasn’t to bad we waited another 30 minutes and the food arrived again cold 2 people had still not had there food at 9:15pm when this finally arrived the turkey parcels were Still FROZEN in middle. My works Christmas party turned into everyone eating hours after each other. I complained to the manager as my bill was £682 to which he replied I can offer a round of drinks. This was not acceptable seen as our Christmas party was ruined and we were served RAW food twice. The proprietor of the restaurant was in the bar and he came over and explained that he was out celebrating his friends birthday and did not want to be disturbed again!!!!!! Excuse me if there is a problem in your new restaurant you should want to do everything possible to help the situation. He then offered to half the food bill so £200 off the bill. I agreed to this although I do believe with such terrible service and RAW FROZEN food the bill should of been wrote off. It then gets worse the girl which the proprietor was celebrating with came over to our table and sarcastically but very loudly asked the group if we had a tampon.. this was taken that we were being unreasonable in our complaint she left the table and then returned moments later asking what we did for a job once we replied she said well arnt you all supposed to be nice people then. The proprietor didn’t nothing to resolve this and let the lady keep returning to our table to make sarcastic remarks to us regarding our complaints. To which we got up and left without eating our desserts. Absolutely disgusting behaviour and I will be telling lots of people about this as I know people who use this venue to host events. I am surprised we don’t all have food poisoning today.
