I you are in the area, this cafe is well worth a visit, superb food and excellent service, of course I will be visiting again - recommend the All Day Breakfast! One of better experiences, well done!

Visited whilst waiting for my car to be serviced. This cafe is a real hidden gem. The staff are warm and welcoming and the Chilli con carne was delicious. I will definitely be returning

I normally order my food the grab and dash, this time I decided to eat in, food as always perfect, my vegan sausage bun with sweet potato fries. Lovely staff and chefs, great service all ways polite 100% recommend

I promised readers I would get back to you after I had had my function, which was a wake at my home earlier this month. If I could give it 10* I would. I have hosted many functions in my long life but this company takes the prize!! I catered for 50 and a few more guests turned up but there was still plenty of food for many, many more. Everyone commented on the good food and variety. The food was presented so nicely I didn’t have to use my own servers and Kate and Steve went out of their way to make this very special day a great success. I have visited the cafe many times since my function and they staff and food have been consistent excellent! Thank you to all the staff and to Steve and Kate, the owners extraordinaire, for walking the extra mile for someone they had never met before. 🌹❌

Before I booked catering for a reception through these people I visited the cafe - under cover🤭. The food, service, prices and staff were faultless!!! Coming from me that’s a real compliment! It is a little hidden treasure in the middle of a business development and so close to where I live. I know where I’ll be spending a lot of time with friends. I’ve booked my catering now so watch this space 😁 To the cafe owner: very well done. Oh and please don’t even think about moving premises....ever! 😊.

Came to the Thai Consulate for visas and found this lovely cafe nearby. Have just had the most gorgeous all day breakfast, with slices of toast and coffee, for £6.99. It was superb!! The staff are super efficient and the service was remarkably quick. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Recently starting working across the road from here, and I have to say I have never been anywhere like it. Fantastic food, kindest people and fastest service ever! You would not think dinner time is there busiest time of day. The cafe is bright and clean, and just a lovely atmosphere. Plan on spending every dinnertime here for the rest of my life!

A hidden gem to most people apart from the regulars. A great range of food with a friendly local service. Great prices, a huge menu and friendly staff make this a great place for regulars. I feel everyone should spread the word about this place.

Every time I have been here the food and service has been incredible I love that almost everything is made on the premises. The jacket potatoes are some of the best I've ever had and the new Yorkshire pudding wraps are beautiful! I would 100% recommend this place to other people!

Nothing but positives for this place which regularly provides good quality/tasty food and service with a smile! The staff are helpful and friendly and do everything they can to ensure you get exactly what you fancy for lunch. I have specific dietary needs and the staff, in particular Beth and Helen the main front of house bend over backwards to make sure everything is perfect! They even do Yorkshire pudding wraps!!!! What's not to like?

The staff here are great, always friendly and happy to help. Me and my girlfriend have had breakfast and lunch from here and it is always been well prepared and enjoyable. Will keep coming back

We had dropped my car off for a service and found this little gem of a place. As soon as we walked in we were met by a lovely cheerful young woman who was happy to explain the menu offering us a new addition to the menu, a hot chicken Yorkshire pudding wrap. It was lovely, very tasty & filling! Also we ordered the pulled beef burrito, which again was very tasty & filling! Great coffee & service! Will definitely be back!

Myself and a couple of friends visited the priory recently and I felt compelled to write a review due appalling food.

What a find! Hidden down Saxton way Hessle. I cannot praise this place. enough. Fabulous food and lovely staff. If you're travelling into Hull make a detour and visit, you wouldn't be disappointed.

Good quality food, second to none service. Top tip: book a table in advance if expecting to arrive over lunch. Daily specials offer good alternatives to standard menu.

The Townhouse Cafe is not somewhere you tend to be passing. It is hidden on an industrial estate in the midst of most of the main car dealerships, just off the A63. I found it when kindly given a voucher for breakfast from the JCT 600 VW garage while my car was being serviced.Great food, friendly staff, and cheery decor with a "diner" feel.If you are on your way in to Hull it's definitely worth calling in, high speed free wifi too (I'm connected now!)

This place is definitely worth a visit, very varied menu and reasonably priced. Staff friendly and welcoming, good for a snack, meal or just a coffee and something sweet.

Love this place, the classic townhouse burger is fantastic. A real homemade burger bursting with flavour although you will need a nap after it. Hope they never change it.

Took our car in to Priory Park for a service and was recommended Townhouse as a lunch option by the staff on service reception.Superb place, not over crowded, immaculately clean, well furnished and home cooked cuisine to die for at a very reasonable price.I went for the home cooked quiche with potato wedges and salad, it was beautiful, my better half had wraps that looked equally as good, I can't wait to return!

Wonderful homemade food. Had Salmon & corriander fishcakes today.Highly recommended. Great atmosphere after a morning in the office!

I usually nip in to Sainsbury's cafe for a morning bite after picking up my weekly bits and bobs but last week I found this place on my way home and nipped in for a spot of late breakfast and I will most certainly be going again! The breakfasts were so much better quality than Sainsbury's or any other local cafe I've been in for a long time for that matter. Sausages to die for! The service was so much swifter and much more pleasant and friendly than you get in most places. Overall a wonderful little haven away from the bustle of the main shopping area but still so close!I shall be making The Townhouse my new regular!

I have been back after 11:30am and have been served a breakfast menu. I think the chef has changed and less pretentious now. Hooray for common sense by giving customers what they want.

The townhouse does good food at a good price but it's a victim of its own success at times... If you go at 12 you'll get quick service... Sometimes going later than that can mean its a lot slower... Try and go early!

I love The Townhouse however they are not flexible enough when it comes to dealing with customers. I was delayed on a call outside in the car, my colleague ordered his bacon sandwich and was served. I entered after 11:30 and was refused a bacon sandwich because they stop the "breakfast menu" at that time. Place was empty, I asked if they would be a little more amenable and after all they weren't rushed off their feet, but a fairly surly chef said if he did it for me he would have to do it for everyone. I ordered just a coffee and watched my colleague eat his sandwich. I have doubts of going back, seems they have never heard of the customer being right. What a shame when as I have said before the place is a gem. Moral of the story if you want bacon sandwich go before the menu police enforce the rules at 11:30am because they haven't heard about brunch.

This is the sort of place you find off the beaten track in France rather than in Hessle, East Yorkshire.The restaurant is located on Saxon Way which is an industrial estate on the edge of Hessle close to the A63. It is a clean and stylish place which offers a varied menu of good value for money food and good sized helpings too.

You are unlikely to find this restaurant by chance, located as it is in the depths of an industrial estate. But when you do find it you will want to come back. Combining a cafe and restaurant with a chefs specials board, the food is cooked to order, and is excellent value. The restaurant is modern and uncluttered with good friendly service, and free wi-fi. There is the possibility of eating outside if you are up to the variable weather in Hessle.But it can be quiet. Not many people seem to know that it is open into the evening.
