LGBT review seemed safe no issues , bar staff friendly and good selection of drinks .

Pedí un zumo de naranja y la persona del bar puso un trozo de hielo en el vaso del tamaño del vaso y vertió lo que parecía un dedal de zumo de naranja en ese vaso y luego trató de cobrarnos £ 4 por ello? Los precios son superiores, el lugar parece un vertedero en el interior, la zona del bar olía rancio y de fuerte ser. O. La persona del bar trató de cobrarnos de más añadiendo una bebida que no pedimos y cuando fui a pagar con efectivo “perdieron” un billete de cinco libras (se les cayó al suelo por el pie) y dijo que me faltaban cinco centavos ... Señalé que se les cayó cuando miré por encima del bar. Creo que pensaron que éramos turistas y cuando dije que no somos turistas para estafar (sobre ellos tratando de estafarnos) dijeron que la forma en que sirven bebidas es lo que la dirección les dijo que hicieran, el personal fue grosero, nos fuimos no mucho después. Es una pena ya que estábamos buscando un lugar regular para celebrar reuniones de negocios. Así que básicamente nunca más pondré un pie ahí. Les diré a todos que no se molesten. Encontramos un lugar mejor minutos después a una fracción del costo,

Unfortunately we had to wait over an hour for the food, other guests were not so patient and left.

Lovely welcoming establishment with great food and dog friendly. Can highly recommend.

Very old fashioned pub ideal for quick relax

Found this place while I was waiting for the ferry, couldn't have picked a better place! Lovely staff, atmosphere and a really lovely building. Beers looked good and the lines are really well kept. Would definitely recommend!

Love this place! Delicious glasses of Malbec and a live band every month. The atmosphere here is lovely too and the staff are top shelf 😇

Really warm welcome to a small, well situated traditional pub in the old town of Southampton. Great simple menu at good prices. Recommend for a quick snack meal or drink for a more traditional experience, within five minutes walk of west quay.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch today while visiting family near by. The fleet burger was delicious 😋 We need to come back for the yorkshire filled roast dinner. Service was great, thank you!

Stumbled past this pub after visiting the Titanic exhibition at SeaCity and thought it was a fitting spot for lunch. From the outside right through to the interior fitout is was beautifully decorated with interesting titanic memorabilia. It was instantly a welcoming environment with a few people playing darts, some people having lunch, the americas cup playing and super friendly service from the guy behind the bar. We ordered a couple of burgers and the rosemary salted chips, all of which were fresh, full of flavour, delivered quickly and exceptionally priced. Definitely recommend if you are around. Sorry for the dodgy photo - doesn’t do the burgers the justice they deserve!

Caminando por Southampton nos encontramos con este pub. Somos entusiastas del Titanic y no nos equivocamos. Tuvimos la mejor hamburguesa de todo nuestro viaje aquí. La Titanic Burger fue excelente, acompañada de una deliciosa cerveza de barril. Nos encantó el servicio de uno de los empleados que es de Canadá, muy amable y cordial.

The food is unbelievable. Always comes out on time, always piping hot and tastes so fresh. I am very fussy with burgers and these are definitely the best in Southampton.

Visited here on a Saturday afternoon. Bar staff were brilliant, really good customer service skills. It had a mix of regulars and tourists in and the atmosphere was lovely. Shoutout to Sam and Dean for being great behind the bar (sorry if I got the names wrong) next time we may have doubles. We didn’t try the food but what was coming out of the kitchen really mad us wish we had. A+++++

Visitó para los hermanos bebidas del cumpleaños 60 el 20 de julio. El personal era muy servicial tuvimos un pastel que estaban encantados de suministrar cubiertos, incluso pensó que no comimos su comida. Las bebidas también eran reactivas 🍺🎂

Interior Shabby chic con fotos marítimas en la pared que hace un ambiente relajante, pero los precios de las bebidas son horrendos, sospechan que hay un precio para los locales y uno para los turistas

A quaint pub in the older remaining part of Southampton. Lots of different beers to chose from - ales, lagers etc. Worth a visit when passing.

Fantastic traditional pub since being taken over by new management in the past year; good selection of mainstream beers (although could do with more local/craft beers), shows sports, dj/bands/karaoke on some evenings, food is excellent too (smashed burgers/bar snacks/chicken etc)

A place that has a vibe! Flawless indie rock playlist, great beer which you can taste before you order. I love the Titanic, indie rock and typical British pubs. This place stole my heart.

Popped in during a short break. Owners very welcoming, so friendly and made you feel like a local instantly! New to the pub and the place industry and only have one thing in mind, the customer! They were sat trying to source the best beers and the best prices for the customer! I really wish you all the best!

We spotted this pub as we were walking back to our hotel, and thought it looked like a good old-fashioned pub. The pub is full of character, but the overall experience was disappointing. I ordered a pint of neck oil. which is one of my regular drinks, but this one wasn't the best. I then tried the London Pride, but the beer was flat. The guy behind the bar looked like he was bored and would rather be somewhere else. Shame, as it could be a lot better.

It's good old style pub and it's great .beer and I love it . I have noticed today that H has been very busy with tourists coming into the bar and he has been brilliant with them today 8 May 2024

Great little pub and new owners have done a good job with it. Girl working behind the bar was really nice and friendly and good at her job. Looking forward to visiting again when the kitchen opens (was being refurbished when visiting in late March). Not the cheapest place for a drink, but a good one to go to if you're in the area.

Only been in twice as I was in Southampton for work, place is lovely, very friendly relax service, place is very clean, great job from the new owners, the way the pub is set out looks great, good selection at the bar, music was spot on, was lucky to meet one of the owners, very happy chilled out person, will defiantly be back.

Used to go years ago for a quiet drink,now taken over by 2 brothers I believe and all the better for it. Was absolutely rammed prior to the football,playing great seventies music,and everybody mucked in serving,so great to see management hands on.Easily worth the walk is only a few minutes from the usual wetherspoons.

watery drinks and the worst pint i have ever seen

I had the worst experience at this place last night March 2nd 2024. Me and my friends ordered a round of drinks and they all tasted really weird, not to mention the ridiculous prices. Absolutely do not go here under any circumstances. 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢

After visiting the Titanic Museum we wanted to visit a traditional pub. Ambiance was OK. The barman probably didn't really feel like spending the day. Tables were dirty and weren't cleaned when we sat down. I didn't try the English beer because German guests who were already there didn't think it was good. I then ordered Blackbird beer. That was very good. All in all OK, but I won't go in again

Felt like we were Kate Winslet and Leonardo Di capri sun being in there. Maybe I shouldn't have started singing the Celine classic My heart will go on song but I just couldn't help myself. Sorry.

It reminds me of your local pub. The bar man was epic, coming to the table when he could see we were low on drinks and asked if we wanted the same again. It was lovely lovely atmosphere, we watched the boxing. Lovely evening.

New Landlords have transformed this watering hole. Great atmosphere, brilliant DJ, Graham, on match days. Recommend.

Great pub, and very welcoming staff, which is a vast contrast to the unpleasantness and downright rudeness of the neighbouring pub, The Duke Of Wellington.

New owners, and the pub was very busy with a live band and good atmosphere. Landlord spoke to us at the end of the evening to ask what we thought. There was a lively crowd and some were dancing.

Lovely local pub. Amazing atmosphere- so cosy and welcoming, perfect on a cold winters day! There is lots of good options of beers on draught and spirits behind the bar. Very well priced too. Bar staff are lovely and inviting. Two tvs which played sports, board games available and events on specific evenings. Lots of lovely pics of the titanic around the pub to engross you in the history of The Titanic too!

Wandering back from shopping, the Titanic looked just too inviting all lit up in the twilight. A comfortable seat, a great pint of London Pride, good music playing at the right volume and a friendly welcome & vibe. What's not to like?

We had our engagement party at The Titanic and couldn't have asked for a better venue for it - good value, really attentive staff, clear communication beforehand, and interesting decor that sets the pub apart from others in the area. The dining room can be separated from the bar area with a curtain, so we had the advantage of both an actually private event and very close proximity to the bar. The only downside is that the restrooms weren't the smartest. Can definitely recommend this place if you're hosting a private event!

LOVE THIS PUB! An avid fan of The Titanic anyway, it’s no wonder I love this place. Not only that but the Egan brothers are perfect for it. New management has made a massive improvement, can’t wait for my Guinness later!!!

Not very friendly. Would not return. Punters seem very much ‘a local place for local people’. Go to The Duke of Wellington instead, they’re super friendly and a nice atmosphere.

Lovely pub with lots of history. Disappointed to find it closed at 8pm on a Sunday on a bank holiday weekend so only had time for 1 drink. People came in after us and were also disappointed. The guy behind the bar just explained they were open later than other pubs in the road?!
