My usual favourite place to visit when out. Love their Good Morning Vietnam and Old Fashioned.

Cozy kind of bar restaurant. The service was excellent, we sat on the bar. The food is OK, nothing super special about it. Drinks were very good.

Great atmosphere, great food, a wide variety of tasty drinks and stylish setting. The service really makes the experience here. Jamie looked after us extremely well front the moment our group arrived and was attentive through the night, no matter how busy it got. We'll be back!

Personal muy amable, atento y bien informado. La comida era preciosa y fresca con un montón de variedad. Los cócteles eran geniales, incluso tuve 2 cócteles hechos por encargo, al igual que beber una colada de pina. Muy bien. Bonito ambiente acogedor. Sin duda volveremos de nuevo. Gracias.

Mis amigos y yo fuimos a tomar unos cócteles y comida antes de un concierto. El menú de cócteles era bueno, pero el camarero se ofreció a hacer algunos que no estaban en el menú. La comida era muy sabrosa. Tuvimos dos platos pequeños cada uno y algunos bocadillos del menú antes de que llegara la comida. Todos nos sentimos satisfechos ya que la comida es deliciosa. También hay platos más grandes en el menú. Después del concierto volvimos a tomar un cóctel final para celebrar mi cumpleaños , de nuevo tuvimos un servicio fabuloso y nada parece demasiado problema para el personal. El lugar tiene un gran ambiente y decoración y lo más importante para una mujer los baños estaban limpios! Creo que The Tippling House y su personal merecen 5 estrellas.

Was our first time here after hearing about it for so long. Jamie really made our time there amazing, was so incredibly attentive, super talkative and friendly, and had great knowledge of the stock and drinks on offer. Thanks Jamie!! The vibe is great, the drinks are amazing and they can make most things by request. They also have a trade menu for hospitality staff. Fab place!!

We had a lovely afternoon here. Jamie our server was friendly, informative and attentive. Great choice of drinks and we highly recommend the flatbreads and oils! Would happily go back for another glass or 3...

I love it here a very relaxed atmosphere with great staff, great food and great drinks options no cocktails on this occasion. But the cocktails are what puts this place on the map.

We did some tapas. The poutine needed more gravy, everything else (Mac and cheese waffle, Brie, chicken wings) were all very tasty. Service was fantastic, very friendly and helpful. Very cool place.

I just wanted to leave a review about a wonderful waitress named Charlie we met last on Tuesday night here! She was so attentive, warm and friendly. Drinks and atmosphere were really nice too, cozy and autumnal, but the experience was made even more delightful by the professional service. Hope you can pass this onto her. Thanks!

Amazing food, with excellent value for the pre theatre menu. The staff were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Definitely a place to visit again if I come back to Aberdeen

I went in on a whim and was blown off my feet by what this lovely speakeasy had to offer. behind an inconspicuous door on Belmost street lies an underground bar that makes you forget that you're still on Belmont street. It seems like you don't look for this bar, it just finds you. There are subtle indicators for good bars, like quality and range of liqueurs displayed, or house made syrups that you can identify to recognise that you're gonna have a good time, this bar had all of them. Most importantly however, is that their bartenders have an insane wealth of knowledge on alcohol and cocktails. Their menu of 10 or so drinks was definitely expertly crafted and the bartenders are very evidently enthusiasts. 10/10 on anything alcohol related, I asked for a Sazerac and the guy presented me a bottle of rye whisky from Sazerac, no faults here! The atmosphere of the place was specifically crafted to be very relaxed and cosy, evidently the result of many years of a variety of customers enjoying a premium cocktail experience. The songs played had a very specific vibe that elevated the feeling of a familiar warmth, think MF DOOM. In terms of decor,... I want every single poster they have in my room. 10/10 for such a specifically well crafted atmosphere and calming sensation.

Probably the best cocktail bar in Aberdeen. Great ranges and bartenders are great at going off-menu for something unique. Food is smashing, too.

Me and my partner booked a table for our anniversary drinks. We were absolutely blown away by the standard of service and quality of the cocktails. We were happy to pay the service charge as you really do get service. Will definitely be back in the future!

Went for a couple cocktails before a dinner reservation elsewhere. Couldn't have been made to feel more welcome by the barman, and the cocktails were absolutely delicious! Originally only meaning to stay for one, we couldn't help but to have a second due to the atmosphere, the gorgeous cocktails, and most importantly the very inviting staff! Can highly recommend, and we will be back - hopefully to try the delicious sounding food menu as well next time!

Great city centre venue, we went for the ARW three-course menu along with cocktails and wine. The food was hearty, reasonably priced and overall the dishes were of great quality. The only course which could have been better was the blondie for dessert which was on the dry side. The whiskey based cocktail I had was perfect, and the orange wine was a treat with the hake main course. Our server for the night was fabulously attentive and very bubbly the whole night. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing cocktails Amazing service On the pricy side though. £23 for two (rather small but very tasty) drinks made us leave after just one round… I guess you get what you pay for. Would come again - but just for the one.

Used to be great when first opened. Once remodelled they lost most of the mojo. Too bright, not enough bar seats Mixed drinks only - not really fancy cocktail specialists. Ordered a drink, and they were out of "that ingredient" - but couldn't offer to make something similar. You have to sit down/be seated so lacking that mingling vibe. Not a place to meet new people. Mediocre drinks riding on the original Tippling House coattails. Really disappointed to revisit but I guess current times customers wouldn't know the difference.

Exceptional cocktails, lovely service, atmosphere is exactly hat we wanted from a cosy bar. These guys will make you any cocktail you can think of even if not on the menu!

This hidden gem is worth a visit. Awesome cocktails, the atmosphere was nice & chilled, the staff were friendly & helpful. The Poutine was absolutely delicious! Not expensive at all.

Absolutely amazing cocktail bar. The staff, all 3, are knowledgeable, friendly and most helpful. Points deserved for seeing to it that water glasses are kept filled. It's a sheer joy to watch them work their magic, even better to enjoy the results. We didn't eat there, just sat at the bar twice, watching the bartenders and picking their very competent brains. Will definitely be back next time we're in Scotland, must also try the food! Best regards from Denmark.

As cocktail lovers we were told this is just the best place so off we went. A small place in the centre of town which we eventually found and so glad we did. A Southside, Team Rocket, Paper Plane and Grasshopper were our choices. It is an experience to watch a pro at work, all cocktails were made using great care, skill and technique, poured into glassware and presented. Just an art to watch and a pleasure to savour. The place itself is quirky, a gem of a little bar and the cocktails which we had were tremendous, perhaps a little high on the price side but oh so worth it when you consider the skill set needed to create such inspiring beverages. BRILLIANT AND THANK YOU.

A nice venue and our waitress was absolutely lovely however it was very expensive. The £30 “sharing platter” was so underwhelming. I’ve had an amazing platter elsewhere for £24 at a much higher quality (and quantity!) The desert was really poor at £8.50. An £80 bill for a couple of overpriced gins, an underwhelming cheese board, 2 bao buns and below average deserts…. Won’t be returning.

From start to finish we were made to feel so incredibly welcome that by the time we left we felt like we had gained some new best mates. Jamie, Fin and Lucy worked non stop to make sure we had delicious drinks (including top ups of water which meant no hangovers the next day), great chat and incredible service. My friend and I felt like we learnt so much about cocktails watching them work away as they were all so knowledgeable. They all didn’t stop, some of the hardest workers I’ve ever seen. They managed to consistently deliver great drinks whilst engaging us in brilliant chat, recommendations and a bit of a Bo Burnam / Mighty Boosh sing a long. We had such a great time we returned the next day and if we could we’d be back 1000 times over. I’ve travelled the world and can genuinely say this is some of the best service I’ve ever received. Thanks Jamie, Fin and Lucy for making our trip to Aberdeen so memorable. What a team. What a place. Love Ellie and Martine. ✌🏻

Incredible staff made this the most memorable experience of our trip to Aberdeen. My friend and I sat at the bar and were immediately made very welcome by Finn, Jamie and Lucy. The skill and precision used to create the cocktails was awesome to watch. We had a brilliant chat and rapport with the staff as they worked incredibly hard to serve the whole bar, but made us feel extremely special and welcome. It is rare to find such an establishment. The atmosphere was fantastic, fun but sophisticated at the same time. We returned the following evening and were greeted like old friends, which was lovely. Would highly recommend stopping in for drinks and the food looked delicious too. If we hadn’t already eaten there was lots we liked the look of. Thank you once again for making us feel so welcome and some fantastic drinks. We learnt a lot about cocktail making from Finn and Jamie. Made our trip to Aberdeen!

Really nice cocktail bar ! Service is amazing and friendly. If you don't want to mingle with many of the drunk messy kids or the walking druggies zombies from Union square this is the place. Original cocktails, nice atmosphere, love it.

Went for boozy brunch and was delighted with the meal, drinks, and service. We had the breakfast poutine which was delicious and the champagne came in frosted coup glass which I thought was a very nice touch. The staff are very polite and professional but in a very natural way and speaks of their passion. All the food coming out of the kitchen looked great and we can't wait to go back for theatre menu. Velveteen Rabbit is my favourite cocktail, closely followed by the Queen's Gambit.

Great atmosphere, very well decorated and maintained to a high standard. Large choice of drinks and made a specific drink for us that was not on the menu. Staff were very attentive but not intrusive, definitely recommend if you want good drinks and be able to have a conversation.

A second visit to this bar come restaurant. This time for great cocktails: mojito and good morning Vietnam. Really friendly service - will return!

We visited for drinks having eaten somewhere nearby and immediately loved the atmosphere, the great service and fantastic cocktails. Attentive and friendly staff, an imaginative and creative drinks menu and you have to try the smoked almonds. Really enjoyed the whole experience and will definitely be back next time we are back in Aberdeen visiting family.

Really excellent!! Cocktail menu had wonderful variety, and chatting to the bartender rewards you with phenomenal taylor-made drinks! They also make sure you are well hydrated and have a relaxed, fun atmosphere.

The staff was friendly and bartender was super knowledgeable. They have a great cocktail list, or you can order whatever you want. We tried a few snacks, scallops, brie, and mac and cheese waffle, and all were quite good. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting!

Visited for a drink with my husband. Lovely place with quirky and beautiful interior. Staff were polite and attentive. The cocktails were absolutely delicious! Honestly cannot fault the staff or the drinks. We would return again. We did notice behind the bar there is part of the flooring which is considerably damaged and that's why I can't give five "stars". Please fix this for your super hardworking staff. It didn't look like a new issue, but certainly does need remedied!

Really love this place! Always bring my friends and family here who are visiting Aberdeen to show off this gem. Love the chill vibes. Drinks are on the higher-price-side but I’ve never had a better cocktail than here, and the good crowd, friendly staff, and comfortable atmosphere make it well worth it.

Visiting Aberdeen for the weekend and the options for a nice drink and meal are limited. tippling house needs to be on your list. Intriguing set cocktail list but they will also make your favourites and pretty much anything else you want to try. Exceptional table service and atmosphere with some matching chillout music. Food again was superb.

A delightful small bar with a great range of excellent whisky, primarily Scots, but some international as well. Some very rare malts available and not excessively priced. Great cocktails, too. A quiet location probably not suitable for large noisy groups. It's downstairs.

Went to Tippling House for restaurant week. I really liked the variety of the menu. We had diverse food preferences in our group, and everyone had something delicious. It was a busy night, but the staff were super nice.

Sophisticated cocktail bar hidden away under Aberdeen, only seemed to seat perhaps 30 people, so room was tight but sat at the bar with my partner. Incredibly knowledgeable staff with friendly service. A bit pricy, but worth it! Drinks were delicious, and bartenders offered to make anything even if not on the menu. Interior was dark and moody, which music playing at a comfortable level. Tables for two and booths were available but occupied in visit. Long table near enterance for larger groups. Toilets were clean, whole place look well maintained. A hidden gem!

Came here for the Aberdeen's Restaurant Week tasting menu (5 courses) with my significant other. The atmosphere is lovely and the drinks were great too. I can't recommend coming here for the food, on the other hand. For a menu that was supposed to be "carefully put together", that was a big disappointment. The starters (duck and trout) were probably the best and the other courses were okay, except for the mains. We had venison ragù and sole with mussels, couldn't finish either of them. WAY too spicy/peppery even for someone who eats spicy food regularly, and way under-salted that leaves with no flavour other than too much pepper.

It is how it sounds, a house where you can tipple. The fluid of merriment is a little on the expensive side and it ain't what it used to be but still one of my go to cocktail bars in Aberdeen.

booked the Whiskey Tasting for a few of us and it was wicked!!! the bar/venue is real cosy, nice calm atmosphere and staff were on point. Our host for the Tasting was a great laugh, very clued up on Whiskey and It’s history, great sense of humour and relaxed session. Would recommend the Whiskey Tasting and/or a night out their anytime.

Was in here with the other half for the 5 course tasting menu and of course a few drinks. Couldn't fault anything. Had a great night and the food was delicious. The tasting menu is amazing value for money. Will def be going back again

Ace night, great food, brilliant cocktails, excellent staff

Blown away by The Tippling House experience this evening. 5 course tasting meal with paired cocktails each course. The food was fantastic and the cocktails really set the evening alight. Creative approach to dining and drinking, didn’t know this type of experience could be found in Aberdeen. Highlight was the beef paired with an old fashioned made with a blend of Scottish and Japanese whiskeys. When you would normally be £10+ for a cocktail alone, £65 for 5 courses and 5 cocktails seems exceptionally good value but the quality was not compromised in the slightest. Being extremely picky, the venue had a bit of an odd smell as we walked in, but we quickly became accustomed to it once the drinks were flowing.

The Tippling House is a brilliant place for cocktails or indeed any form of drinking. The variety and imagination shown in the drinks menu really is special. I spend a lot of time in London and the Tippling House compares well with most places I've been to in the capital. Exciting presentation is nothing if the drinks don't taste right; thankfully they do. All I can say is that if you're in the city and you don't visit, you really are missing out on one of the UK's best bars.
