Rohaan Cafe Bar in Aberdeen City

Arrived late and hungry in Dyce. The staff, specifically Chantelle were friendly and really helpful. Nothing was to much trouble. What a great way to start our holiday.

Lovely food, warm and welcoming staff, homely accommodation at a fair price and surrounded by beautiful scenery, perfection!

Nice place for my Auntie’s wedding. Playground was quite dusty there is a nice view for the river and a good dance floor.

Have been wanting to try this place for ages .beautiful spot went for a walk first. Got a menu sat outside noone came to serve us so went inside to order. The server was very polite asked for beans instead if peas and a pot of grated cheese which she said was no bother. Moved table to inside and it was too sunny on way past looked like chef was talking about my order and how it's not a mix and match menu (all for the sake of beans) highly unprofessional as I walked right past her. I should have pulled her up kn it but didn't want to cause a scene in front of my family. Anyway was telling my husband at the table that we paid 60 pounds for a meal surely its not that much better. They are much more accommodating in weatherspoons and its half the price.server then came to apologise u had no beans which was absolutely fine. Anyway when the food came it was absolutely lovely. So it really angers me that the chef said these comments as otherwise I would return.

Place is a shambles!! If you like flies buzzing about you window seat then go …could go on and on . Time n days open not consistent ..

Brilliant service, the lad being trained pulled a perfect pint. Food was absolutely flawless. Sitting outside finishing drinks was beautiful

We stayed at the Travelodge nearby and came in for a drink and dinner both nights. Staff were very helpful and friendly, the location is lovely and there's a beautiful river view from the outside deck area. The food was good and we'd definitely return if we were in the area again.

Arrived asked at the bar if food was on, was told to take a seat, took a seat, waited for 20ms, nothing, ive travelled all day, got to hotel and just needed food. I've been before, just disappointed with the service

We recently had our wedding reception at Riverside and we could not have had a better experience. Lauren, the events manager, is extremely kind, helpful, and easy to work with. The price is very good for the amazing scenic location and the inside is beautiful too. We had a pizza/Chinese buffet which was DELICIOUS and very reasonably priced. Absolute hit with our guests, the whole table was cleared in no time. The bar staff were amazing (a massive hit with my wife who made friends with everyone there, especially Chantelle). This was my wife’s dream wedding come true, this is an amazing venue to have your wedding at especially if you’re trying to do it on a budget like we were. Included in the venue was a small flat above the venue for the night which was amazing for our very tired feet after dancing all night. P.S. To the staff, thank you for an amazing experience on our wedding day. We’ll definitely be back if we need a venue for an event again.

Great dog friendly place to have quick pint !

We were here with family and friends for daughter's wedding. It has a beautiful location and lovely walks along the riverbanks. Venue was wonderful. Great work and big thanks to Shelley and Lauren. Girls - you really did an amazing job!! The whole day was so special and memorable . You put in the effort to make the whole event a great success and you definitely succeeded. Thank you. Would highly recommend as a wedding venue - or just to eat out and enjoy the delicious food.

Myself and my colleague ordered the Rohaan Double Burger. Best Burger I've had in a long time from a Cafe/Restaurant. Cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. I was left feeling full after my meal. It was great. Service was phenomenal, though my meal arrived before my drinks as I think they had forgotten or gotten confused as to who was supposed to have delivered the drinks to us. Apart from that the servers were really nice and professional. I was staying at Travelodge next door on a business trip. It was a Friday night and I was suprised to be 1 of about 5 people who were dining in that night. I understand the location may be a little out the way but it was situated next to a housing estate and wondered why it wasn't much busier. The atmosphere was real quiet,

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the food was tasty but the portions were small (particularly the nachos - pricy for what we actually got). It was really cold inside there today, not sure there was any heating on.

Foods alright. Some of the younger staff were enthusiastic and helpful. The older staff however were extremely grumpy and rude.

Love that this place is dog friendly. We stopped in past for a breakfast roll and a cuppa. Pet menu is good and fairly priced. Will definitely visit again.

Really nice place, had no idea it was there but happened to see it on a walk along the riverside. Really nice place and great outdoor play are for kids. Had the best steak pie of my life haha and staff are always very nice. Have now visited a number of times and will definitely be back 🙂

Went for a baby shower and the food was good and the bar service was okay too. Would recommend for a function or something to eat.

Having a coffee out on the sun deck, overlooking the river Don, in glorious weather. There is not a better location!

Called here for lunch on the way from Aberdeen centre to the airport. Spend a great couple of hours sat on their lovely deck in the Scottish sunshine. Had the House burger which was terrific with chips and coleslaw, cold beer too. Staff and hosts were very friendly and efficient. Ideal for kids and dogs too, woods nearby to explore. Hightly recommended.

Went for dinner, as we were staying in the travelodge next door, and it was great! We ordered a burger, scampi and my grandson has macaroni and it was delishish. They were very good with my grandson and attended to our every need. Will definitely be back for another great dinner.

I went here with my gran for lunch. I asked if we could order a half portion of the scampi and chips for my gran. They said yes and my gran paid for it at the bar. Once we got the receipt, we realised she had been charged for a full portion of scampi (£13.95). We felt this was very cheeky and the price should have been a bit lower for a half portion. My gran spoke to the waitress about this but no refund was offered. My gran's scampi was okay... a bit overcooked and no vegetables with it, just chips. My avocado panini was very very sweet and I found an eyelash in the salad. I didn't mention this to the waitress as I couldn't be bothered complaining again. We waited around 25 minutes for our food despite the fact there was only three tables.

Absolutely lovely patio. What a setting! But by far the worst Americano I've had in a very, very, very, very long time. Weak and watery. Tastes like what comes out of the machine when you clean it!

The food was good, better than expected, but it was awfully cold in the restaurant, so we didn't linger.

Found this place by accident, It has a lovely family atmosphere, food was great, Soup was AMAZING. It sits on a lovely river walk, really nice outdoor area overlooking the river, I Will definately come back, I pass through Aberdeen for work each month, I'm changing hotels with this place in mind 👍

Almost 3 years ago we started to plan our wedding and we decided we wanted to celebrate in Rohaan Cafe. Then the pandemic came and we had to postpone a few times until we were finally able to celebrate it this week. Lauren and her team did an amazing job at decorating the room, making sure the food and everything was as planned. The place looked beautiful and the food was even better than we expected. They welcomed our puppy to be part of the celebration and that made it even more special. Rohaan Cafe has always been close to our hearts, now it is even closer ❤️

Surprisingly nice inside. I never visited for years but went for a coffee which was good large seating areas inside.

We absolutely love it here for a night in the pub, but also for dinner! Dinner here is what we would class as pub, grub, it is very cheap and exactly what you need, if you are looking for something like pub, grub! The pub itself is lovely and very homely and you feel like you fit in! Sometimes we find with bars and pubs it is very cliquey and you find it difficult to enjoy your night, because of this, however, this pub is perfect and there is no feeling of uncomfortableness! It is very spacious, and there is also a fire which you can sit around and is lovely in the winter! If you are looking for somewhere to play pool, there is also a pool table which you can enjoy

Great for a stop when out for a dog walk. Lovely setting overlooking the river. Food wasn't great, 2 paninis which were bland with a side salad which was turning brown. No napkins with the food. We sat outside on the decking. Decking area was full of leaves and tables were dirty. A bit more care and investment and this could be great as it is such a wonderful setting.

Staying next door and didn't even know this was here, well it was dark when I arrived last night. Very smart 👌. Food lovely, beer decent price, pool table, open 🔥. Staff were really pleasant. Went in at 9.40 to be told they had already cashed up so couldn’t get a drink, despite website saying they were opened till 12. Place was empty and staff playing pool- expected better after reading reviews

Cosy with fireplace. Love the shortbread extra with coffee and hot chocolate. Great service. Variety of seating options. Love over looking the river during the summer and being near pool table or fireplace for winter.

Dodgy and dark place. U can not really find it from riverview dr. The road that is leading there is like a walk through a dark forest at night and dont feel safe at all. There are broken lights everywhere. Also there is a pathway from nearby Travelodge hotel that they could sweep once in a while. A lot of people walking past that way and all had to make their way through the rotten leaves or snow. Also why is it so difficult to park a car there? Like the gate is always up. I didn't feel welcome there.

Nice walk along the River Don at Dyce, stopped at Rohaan's Cafe, Coffee and a slice of Carrot Cake. Young Staff are very professional, and friendly. Very Dog Friendly can take them inside or sit outside Well worth a visit, small market stalls in the carpark every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the Month

Been here a few times good place to sit for a beer bit it's definitely let down by the long waiting times, the amount times I've had my order taken wrong is joke! And I had a Irish coffee one week to return the next to be told no-one knows how to make one? Get the staff sorted the place would be prefect!

Very poor service with long waiting times. Repeated order a number of times and ended up getting a meat dish rather than vegetarian as well as another wrong meal order.

Difficult to negotiate the entrance to this car park as there is a restricting frame to block on the car park to stop large vehicles. Entrance is darkish and the venue is too which is a shame. I feel better lighting might enhance your daytime visits. Service was prompt, young chatty girl, very pleasant which was nice she certainly made you feel welcome. We arrived at 10.40am and were looking for a scone and a Cappuccino. Unfortunately we were told that the scones were all being kept for the afternoon teas!!! REALLY……. We did then have a lovely bacon sandwich and a sausage sandwich but the fact that you prioritise your afternoon footfall over your morning guests probably means we won’t be back. Sorry.

Excellent welcome, good service and quality food. They couldn't looked after us any better.

We stayed in the Travel Lodge, literally across the path, although not associated with them at all, they serve amazing breakfasts at reasonable prices, and delicious coffee. We attended for a wedding and the staff could not have been more helpful, friendly or pleasant. Our flight in was late on the Friday evening, yet the staff stayed on to ensure we had a hot meal on arrival, and opened up the restaurant early on the Sunday morning so we could have breakfast before we had to leave. I believe they are fairly new as a wedding venue, but they should go from strength to strength from what we experienced. Great food, service and staff - well done to you all.

Coffee and cakes are good. Meals so-so. Waiters/waitresses are lovely but service takes quite a while. Great location and looks great inside. Wouldn't recommend going with kids as are quite difficult about them and make you feel quite unwelcome.

Bad smell of damp as we entered into the property

Went here for the first time today .After being told by other people its great. Place was cold ,hot food was edible but not very hot. My chicken mayo sandwich had been left under a heat light as chicken was warm and bread felt hard. Ordered a child's cheese sandwich. The cheese was grated so when my grandchild picked 1 up there was nothing left in the sandwich, it went everywhere. Didn't get a spoon for my shop so went to find a member of staff could not find anyone .so went and got my own spoon was nearly in the kitchen. And no one noticed . Not good value for money.

Dog friendly she got a biscuit (even when she jumped all over the sofa) staff are welcoming. Pleasant visit 10/10

We went down for the Sunday Market, picking up lots of treats for the dogs from wonderful sellers. The Rohaan itself is dog friendly which was perfect for socialising our puppy. We had drinks and snacks which were served by a great team of young staff and all tasted lovely.
