My absolute favorite place in Notting Hill for a drink and snacks! The atmosphere is adorable, the food is divine, and the drinks are delish. I tell all my friends to go here for a nice drink. My personal favs are the sausage roll, Abdul’s pakoras, and a Pimm’s Cup to sip. Their Aperol Spritz is also spot on. Can’t hype this place up enough and the staff is just as wonderful. 10/10 you must go!

This spot is fabulous for a day or evening out. I went with friends and sat in the garden. The meal was fantastic—we all cleaned our plates. Patrick, the owner, was friendly and helpful, as was the entire staff. They made our evening quite lovely. I would definitely recommend, and will be bringing friend and out-of-town guests here!

The food was good, nothing bad to say about that. But be CAREFUL, when the bill came, we noticed there was an "optional service charge" expensive for a simple breakfast. As it states, it should be optional. When I asked the waitress what this extra was, she said it was for the service. She didn't mention the optional part. This is proper stealing. We haven't been in London for a while and this is just insane. We don't mind leaving a tip but it should be the client who decides the amount. And the waitress didn't make a special effort, since she knew she would have her tip and lied to get it. I almost never leave reviews because I believe mistakes are part of life, but i don't like being taken for a fool. We paid and that's probably what a lot of people do because they're embarrassed to ask, but this is not a way to get tips. People would probably be happier to leave it if they weren't being forced and lied to.

EVERYTHING, but EVERYTHING is right about this gem of a cafe. Let's start with the music. My name's Rob, and I'm a musician, and I am allergic to the mindless and meaningly less pop muzak that says nothing and is always produced to a click track, and which is often played too loudly. Here, a lot of thought has been put into the playlist, and whilst a lot of it is 'old school', it is 'old school' that so many YOUNGER PEOPLE people like, too: Pink Floyd, Clapton, Roxy Music, The Who, Joan Baez, Bob Dylan, James Taylor, Simon & Garfunkel etc al. Also, it's played at the right volume, so it doesn't interfere with the conversation you are trying to have, but then isn't so quiet you have to strain your ears to listen to the music you love. (NB, if you don't like decent music, don't go to this particular cafe.) Moving on ... The food is excellent, the staff are great, and the owner, Patrick, is good fun. For the West End, the prices are competitive. It has a BEAUTIFUL, hidden garden, and there's a downstairs section that's intimate. The WiFi works! Yipee! So you get to work, rest and play here. And finally, it's within a few minutes walk of Portobello Road, so if you want to step away from the crush and into an oasis, The Tin Shed is THE place to go.

There is absolutely nothing special about this place. We had to wait 25 minutes for our food to arrive and at the end a wrong dish showed up to our table and. Coffee was burnt and extremely hot! The staff aren't organised and trained at all.

We went for brunch on a Sunday. There was a short queue without booking. Food was pretty average. Homemade baked beans were great. Coffee was really subpar, the barista didn’t even care about latte art (looked like someone had drunk it).

Other than being in one of the coolest streets in Notting Hill, it was warm, charming, chilled, and rustic, with great food and lovely staff. London is full of great locations, but most of them lack staff who actually care about what they do and the service they provide, but not here. They are fantastic.

The quality of food and coffee is so bad that I wonder how this place is open and running. We ordered 2 coffees ( Flat whites) and they arrived on the table when we were nearly done with our meal and after waiting for so long they were burnt and not drinkable! There is absolutely nothing special about their flavourless food. Do not recommend at all and absolute waste of money.

Been coming here for years and recently moved a little further away but still make the effort to eat here on a regular basis , however, we decided today that we won't be coming back, unfortunately the staff have become obviously quite bored in thier jobs and seem to think it's OK to give a load of attitude to the customers (it wasn't just us that recieved it, we witnessed others get grunted at and staff walking away while people are still ordering) I left here this morning wishing I hadn't of come and I won't be back again, your poor customer service and bad attitudes have lost you a couple of very regular customers Perhaps you could inform your staff that 'it is what it is' is not the nicest way to talk to a customer when they are making a polite request to add something to thier dish, particularly when they are A-paying 40 quid for breakfast and B- would never dream of speaking to you with such attitude Such a shame but the smallest things can make all the difference Ps- the food as always was delicious

Nobody loved the lunch meal but I think mine was the worst, a tasteless dry kedgeree with a morsel of salmon and maybe a fleck of haddock. The others items were advertised as being served on toast but were delivered as bread. Altogether a disappointing experience. I won’t be returning.

Also, ordered fresh juice which came in the smallest glass, which was also only 3/4 full. The service was not the best, staff didn’t seems to care much. However the setting in the back garden is lovely
