Great food and great service. Charlie was an awesome hostess.

Called in at lunchtime on a Sunday and was able to get a table for 2 people. We had the carvery meal. There was a choice of three meats and a range of vegetables. All were very tasty, not dried out like some carveries I have been to. They also have a number of tables where your dog can be with you.

Great lunch had by myself and my family, our server Charlie-Louise was really friendly and attentive food was brilliant for price paid and good quick service.

Went up with discount vouchers, and they had a sign up saying they'd decided not to honour them as per their right to cancellation. Shoddy behaviour.

We just had a lovely meal here at the three witches. The staff were always on hand and ready to serve whenever we needed. We all ordered and paid on our phones, but I will say make sure you confirm your order as my inlaws didn't get their meal at the same time because of it. Even though the fault was on our part for not confirming, the staff were very generous and apologetic. Highly recommend, food is great and there's always loads. Plus the atmosphere is most enjoyable.

Had a great Sunday roast today the food was amazing gorgeous turkey and beef with Yorkshire pud and choice of veg. Staff were all young and very polite and attentive. Nice atmosphere and not too busy. Will definitely bring family back.

Fantastic service and was well looked after in regards to some very specific allergies. (Gluten, onion, garlic, mushrooms, peas). unfortunately didn't get the name of the girl who waited on us.and the guy who came out to tell us that we couldn't have bbq sauce on the steak Americano but could have cheese and bacon still. Thank you very much a lot of pubs could learn from you all. As we were on holiday we probably won't be back soon but if we ever find ourselves in the area again we no doubt will visit again

Was in town for the Etape Loch Ness event which we completed that morning. We were staying in the Fairways Travelodge and picked the restaurant as it was close and we could walk. Booking online was a doddle and our table was ready when we arrived a little early. Greeter at door (sorry didn't get his name) was very polite and helpful taking us to our table and explaining what would happen next and letting us know what wasn't available that evening. We were served by a very young girl (sorry no name again) who didn't look old enough to work (at my age all youngsters don't look old enough to work). She was amazing very proficient at her work, attentive and polite even though she appeared to be running the whole floor, well at least the bit I could see on her own. I wanted to let her manager know how good she was when we left but everyone was busy so I hope this review gets back to him and her. Place was clean, food was good, service excellent and we would definitely recommend to anyone in the area

Lovely bar staff .suoer friendly

30% off voucher refused. Apparently a misprint? Made the reservation online and no information online or in the confirmation email saying it couldn't be used. The website was the same as the voucher. We weren't told we couldn't use the voucher until after our order was taken. Food and service very good. Emailed a complaint but had no reply.

The pulled pork macaroni cheese, a culinary catastrophe, was a symphony of disappointment, its flavor profile a discordant blend of the bland and the utterly offensive. The price, a cruel joke, bore no resemblance to the reality served. The scampi, a deceitful offering, was a mere shell of its former self, devoid of the succulent prawns it promised. The chips, greasy yet dry, defied all logic, a testament to the kitchen's ineptitude. A microwave meal from a humble co-op would have been a gastronomic revelation compared to the lasagna presented. Yet, amidst this culinary chaos, a beacon of hope emerged in the form of our server, who navigated the storm with grace and resilience. We spared him our grievances, understanding that his plight was not of his own making. In conclusion, the £50 spent was an insult to the very notion of value, a sum paid for an experience that can only be described as a culinary crime.

Called in on the off chance. The place wasn't particularly busy, but it took several minutes to get seated. The person serving at the bar saw us, but made no attempt to communicate with any colleagues to let them know someone was waiting. This pattern repeated after we were seated. Nobody came over to take our order. Had they been busy, I could have understood, but my feeling is that the staff simply aren't bothered. We left after about 7 minutes of waiting. Maybe we called on a bad night, but after reading a number of similar reviews, I doubt it. We won't be going back and I will not be recommending this place.

Absolutely beautiful and awesome service

The waitress was really friendly and well mannered, and saw to us quickly. We both had the carvery. We really enjoyed the gammon and the large range of veg. The roast beef was inedible though, so that let it down.

Just about to start the NC500 so called to ask if we could stay in the carpark and get food. YES! Dog friendly, great staff who were very professional and welcoming. Good food for the price. Definitely recommend. Thanks

We have visited a number of tines and have had very few negative experiences. On this occasion it was a family meal with visiting family members to celebrate an 18th birthday. The food, service and staff were all excellent in this visit. Very accommodating with a couple of requests for changes to dishes, a large table with a lot of orders for drinks and food all served in good time and with no problems or fuss. One of our favourite local places for a meal and a drink.

Visited this place today as we're on holiday here from Glasgow my mother-in-law and sister in law ordered the fish and chips all we can say is it was cremated solid and no presentation I ordered the mixed grill which wasn't bad apart from the steak which was a piece of gristle so dry my wife got a cheese burger said it was beautiful my brother-in-law got the scampi said it was hard n dry please someone tell the shef there is different settings on his cooker for a £121 including cokes n orange juice it definitely was not worth it so won't be back told the waitress said she'd tell them but hungry horse is far more superior

I paid for the carvery and went to get my meal, only to find the meat looking very uninteresting and dry, so I selected the ham and asked if the server would cut me the nice, fatty, juicy (only juicy-looking meat available) bit on the outside of the joint. Not difficult instructions, I thought, but it took some time for him to decipher the request, after which he began slicing from a completely different joint, a totally dry and uninteresting piece of meat. So I got my slip back, went to the bar and asked for a refund. When I did so, the fellow behind the bar stated he'd had no complaints about it! Stop! Hang on. Was making a complaint and asking for a refund not a complaint? I asked him this and he replied, "well, you haven't actually eaten it!" !! Brick wall! Bang my head! What is it they do not get? Asda for dinner it is!

Great food, with very good service, value for money, friendly staff. My wife and I visit every week, and will continue to do so.

We went for lunch today because we are visiting Inverness and heard this place was dog friendly. We arrived and ordered drinks before we decided what food to order and the server offered to bring us water for our dog, which was very kind. One person ordered from the regular menu and then we ordered two carvery meals. All the meals were lovely - the meat on the carvery was very nice and the vegetables too. (One thing I will say is they should keep the serving spoons cooler because my husband burned his hand on one of them.)

Very disappointing. My first time visiting this restaurant and I chose to have the small serving of the Sunday carvery. The meat was okay but the vegetables were not at a standard to be served. I had to ask for confirmation if the very dried out orange bits were in fact carrots, Brussel sprouts looked as though they were cooked the day before and as for the roast potatoes, they were left sitting for so long that they were rubbery. Will never waste my money there again.

This was a birthday lunch for 20 plus people of different ages and abilities. We had a reserved area. The staff were generally great but a special mention for Ruby who was gracious and kind with everyone and seemed to be everywhere 😊. The food was delicious and for such a big order, all coming out at once, piping hot. The lovely team singing Happy Birthday to deliver the cake was appreciated. My first visit and I had seen mixed reviews but I can say yes, the team are young, but they are attentive and friendly. Well done! I'll be back 🥰

We arrived, the drinks were served quite quickly. We had a look at the menu but despite the fact that the restaurant was completely empty no one was coming to take our order. The were two very young girls behind the bar, just talking to each other, not paying attention. We eventually made eye contact with one of them but she wasn't coming over so we had to actually ask if we could place the order. One of the girls replied: I was just coming over. No, she was not. So that already told me, what kind of experience this visit was going to be. I ordered garlic breaded mushrooms. They looked beautiful but I could not bite into them as they were over fried, the coating was so hard I could hardly get my fork through. But maybe just as well they were overcooked, as they were the only hot part of my dinner. My kebab and the flat bread arrived rubbery and slightly warmed up, far from being hot. Chips were overcooked. The place itself is very nice and cosy. It was just really bad food. And I am quite easy to feed! This was my second visit, I gave it a good go but will probably give it a miss in the future.

Lovely friendly staff and atmosphere that does a brilliant quiz on Thursdays. Prompt service and family friendly. Will be returning again.

Lovely place to watch the rugby we also had some loaded fries while enjoying the match and a beer ! food was top and the staff are welcoming and friendly! Will definitely be returning.

I did need to go and look for a staff member to order a drink but after that, staff were very attentive. Good atmosphere, food hot and tasty and very good value for money. Definitely worth a visit.

All of the staff were welcoming and hospitable. The service was fairly quick and the price was excellent for what you got.

The restaurant was pretty busy but the staff were fantastic. They were really attentive and in control of things. Didn't have to wait for replacement drinks or puddings, we have found as a family in restaurants after the main order it is hard to get served for further items. Not here though. We had a really lovely meal out. Thank you. The staff were all really friendly too.

Absolutely lovely place and staff. We had left another restaurant due to shocking service and being forgotten about at the bar for 40 mins after being told to wait for our booked table. Our server was Ruby and she was brilliant, the food was delicious and well worth the money. We were sat by a fire and the atmosphere was calm and cosy. The bar tender was also absolutely amazing and lovely but we did not catch her name. This will probably now be our new date night venue :) Very much recommended.

Thoroughly relaxing evening out

I was very disappointed, I booked for boxing day dinner because I worked xmas and didn't get a chance to prepare a xmas dinner only to arrive at 3 witches to be told I have to order from the regular menu as no roast was done. I wasn't even called in advance and informed. The quality of the food was poor, chips cold, food bland. And we were the only customers there. Customer service was great but food is would rate at 0

Nowhere else I know you can get a tasty steak for around £15

Food and service was good. We were disappointed that the pork that was prebooked in the carvery choice was not available.

We would normally complain ,but both had a cold and couldn't be bothered ....up here for Christmas ....worst meal ever chips just warm wife's coffee the same fish shocking and I don't know what Macaroni that was so hungry I ate awful worst meal ever never go back ............

Only saving grace was the food the service was horrible took 10 mins to be seated even though it wasn't busy standing at the door like idiots very disappointing our server was rude eye rolled when we asked questions just not good enough we are regularly there aswell not anymore toilets had used lady products in it aswell disgusting

Visited the Three Witches again as i always do whenever i visit Inverness and the food/drinks/service were fantastic, reasonably priced so if anyone wants a place to eat/drink this is the place.

Visited for an office festive lunch. Booking for a large group was easy and the staff on the day were lovely and very attentive. The food was good and everyone had a really nice time. Would recommend.

Hit the spot! I went for a quick lunch before my Christmas shopping and was, one again, delighted. I had a double burger from their specials menu and it was, quite honestly, the tastiest burger I've had in ages (both of them!). Thoroughly recommend and try to go there whenever I'm in Inverness.

We have as a family been coming here for years David and Fiona and all the staff are amazing food is always top class I personally have allergys and not once in the many years we have been have I had any problems it simply is our family's favourite place to dine out.

Been to the Thursday quiz a few times. Staff are friendly and Joe the quizmaster is very good.

We walked in and were simply told they wouldn't serve us because the grill wasn't working...we said that we wanted a soup, not grilled meat, but they made it clear to us that the chef didn't want to serve anyone.... even though there were people sitting and eating.... I'll start by saying that it was a Monday evening and more than half the restaurant was empty.

Thank you for being such a kind polite gentleman and showing an interest in my granddaughter, concerned about her dislike of Turkey However duty management who showed me to a table failed to mention only meat left was Turkey. Vegetables were either greasy or cold and shrivelled up. Very sad by this experience

Seemed like a chain restaurant. Order at the counter and get food delivered to your table. The fish and chips were very good. The beer was good. It was a pleasant lunch stop for us.

Came on Thursday for the quiz. (Host/Quizmaster was Very professional and welcoming). Pub staff were struggling, (possibly understaffed). Food was ok. Though drinks were messed up unfortunately. Not a big deal and will definitely be coming again.

Tried to have dinner here with 2 dogs as they seem to pride themselves on being very dog friendly. We arrived and had to wait 10+ minutes (an outrageous time to stand and wait) for anyone to come and try to seat us. We were told "we don't have space for you, especially with two dogs" even although there were plenty of available tables. This news was delivered to us in a very unprofessional tone by the apparent manager who was wearing a christmas shirt in September...? Don't plaster all over your website that you are dog friendly and so accommodating of dogs if you can't seat a table of 4 people and two small dogs when the place wasn't even half full. From reading other reviews it seems we had a lucky escape!!

This restaurant was terrible. We ordered our food and drinks together and a pitcher of water. Our drinks came 10 minutes after our soup and starters. My wife ordered steak and ale pie. It was a frozen pie reheated. The filling was so hot, it was uneatable while the dough was dry and Lukewarm. I ordered a Cowboy burger with a side salad instead of chips. My burger was cooked until it resembled a hockey puck, and came with no bun. That was not what I ordered. I didn't say anything as the young waitress was busy returning people's food to the kitchen.

Sunday carvery main course was mediocre. Everything else was good and we'll probably come again, but maybe not for a Sunday lunch.

Staff on shift the day we went were fantastic - a credit to the company. The food was good 'pub grub' which we really enjoyed.

Whenever my family come to visit we end up eating here. Three Witches is child friendly, the staff are lovely, the food is unpretentious and the menu caters to their varying tastes. Oh and I forgot the best part it’s good value for money.

Needed something local to our hotel and on a recommendation from the tourist information centre made a reservation for dinner. Plenty of parking. Place is a typical family carvery. Nothing special. Service was good. Good menu options with vegan and vegetarian items. Food was good.

Food was great and staff welcoming. Nice wee play park for the kids to get a bit of peace.

Sever Charlie was the nicest lass and so welcoming needs a raise and the food was amazing loved the piri piri kebab.

Not bad a typical harvester type resturant/ pub steak burgers and chicken. Had a mixed grill massive and you could double it killer👹ok.
