Stopped here on a Friday night after rejecting a couple of other pubs that stopped food at 8.30pm!Had a very friendly, relaxed welcome. All food delicious, especially the crab starter and the venison pie.Loved meeting the dogs, especially Dorothy!

The Guilden Gaumont Film Club hosted its first annual "Jingle and Mingle event. Sarah and Scott of the Three Tuns provided the canapes for the event. They provided a wide variety that included veggie and vegan options. The members thoroughly enjoyed the provisions and the platters were cleared by the end of the evening. The price and service were fantastic and both the GGFC membership and the organisers will be hoping to repeat this in 2024.

Popped in with a friend for a Saturday lunchtime meal. The place was fairly busy but not extremely so. We both ordered the Fish and Chips which quickly arrived. Excellent meal which we both throughly enjoyed. The chips are French Fries type which was great for me but I understand some people prefer proper chips. Plenty of garden peas and the tartar sauce was homemade. We both had dessert which again was excellent, although I thought, a little pricey Yes I would attend again, I thought the meal and the service was excellent and I would recommend

We were checking out the area, and came across this place, initially drawn in by the Green King sign, actually it is now a charming community owned free house. Great selection of proper beer, and great lunchtime menu. There was only one lady serving on the day we went in, she was kept very busy, but kept everyone happy, and even pro-actively served beer in the garden. All round an excellent experience definitely recommend.

We chose this place because of its location (roughly half way between both of our mothers) and reviews, and we weren't disappointed. The staff were welcoming and the food was very good. We were impressed that the menu included a few details about how they cook their food, eg the roast beef would be served pink, and the vegetables al dente. This gave my husband the confidence to order the beef, and he was not disappointed - it was very good, and the portion was enormous! From the starters, the prawn cocktails and charcuterie boards were the winners, and a couple of us were greedy enough to order desserts - the fruit crumble was great. The prices were very reasonable, and it was a thoroughly good experience. We would be very happy to return.

Dinner for two which we enjoyed.Mains were good, desserts amazing. We didn't have the 'make your own' pizza but they looked good, and are on our radar for the next visit. Good service from Ollie, and a nice atmosphere to this community pub. Not the cheapest, but overall a good experience.

We found all the team warm, welcoming, friendly and efficient. We choose to sit in the vast garden- perfect for summer dinning- (inside looked cosy and comfy.) The menu offered the perfect variety of choice, using mainly local and seasonal produce. The food was beautifully and imaginatively presented and tasted spot on. We didn’t “need” desert but once we saw other guests being served the syrup sponge and custard we were powerless to resist! Traditional pub grub with chips this is not, (thank goodness!) and I look forward to a return visit to sample one or two more dishes before the menu changes with the new season, and then we will have a new menu of delights to experience!

Excellent food and service, in a fine setting. The menu had sufficient choices - plenty for a village pub/restaurant. (I’m sceptical when a small restaurants tries to offer too wide a menu - often results in good but not great meals.) The description of every dish was clear and enticing - making it difficult to rule out any while making a choice. The flavours were superb, and plates well-presented, without being fussy. The staff very engaging and got the balance right between genuine care about whether everything is fine, and leaving you alone to enjoy your meal in peace. The quiet/rural village setting helps to make the whole experience very pleasant. The prices were fair and represented excellent value. It’s impossible to get great food and service at low prices. I have no hesitation recommending this, and will be returning very soon.

Went on a nice Friday evening. Service wasn’t that swift. While you wait food options were a joke. Dinky pork pies was actually one very small pork pie rolling around on a large plate ! Menu should read “ dinky pork PIE” Food was nice but dear me, overpriced for the portion size. It always amazes me when restaurants are so stingy with the veg when lt really isn’t the expensive part of the meal. There are similar pubs local to this offering better value for money which is a shame because the garden is lovely. Would we go back ? Not at those prices.
