Shockingly rude bar manager and the cider tasted like soap. Not going back there in a hurry. Staff seemed scared of the manager. Would have stayed as en route but didn't even finish the drinks we bought. A dozen of us walked out because the manager was so rude.

Hadn’t been here for a while and won’t hurry back. No zero/ low alcohol cider available. Extremely rude bar staff. Wanted to give her the benefit of having an off day, but looking through the other reviews, looks like it’s a regular occurrence- avoid.

Got thrown out of the pub for asking for a slice of lemon and not saying please!

Great Place, Great Atmosphere, and Jade has been an amazing host. We will definitely be coming back again.

Fab little traditional pub not too far from the centre and the docks. Good selection of beers and can host private parties.

OMG just dreadful experience, miserable bar staff closed at 9.30pm not interested in chat or open in helping make a choice of drink - the worst pub I have ever visited, dirty and sticky surfaces never again!

Very friendly welcome from the bar. Cosy with a nicely kept selection of cask and keg beer.

Filthy dirty pub, tables so sticky not worth putting anything on them. Floor covered in rubbish even rotting pumpkin a week after Halloween. Toilets absolutely reeking with lights not working. Miserable bar staff, reluctant and slow to serve, unhelpful with questions.

We ended up here as the last stop of a family scavenger hunt, inspired by the Nicolas Cage 'National Treasure' films. The scavenger hunt was planned for my dad's 60th birthday - he's a huge Nicolas Cage fan, and had no idea there was a local pub with the man himself on the sign! I'd dropped by the pub earlier in the day to ask if they'd keep a hold of the treasure chest - the prize at the end. The person behind the bar was absolutely fantastic, said yes, and when I turned up with my parents later in the day, she gamely 'double-checked' the passcode my dad handed over to access the treasure, and passed him the chest. It was hugely appreciated! We had some drinks afterwards, and a fantastic time. Brilliant staff, laid back atmosphere and good drinks. Would recommend.

Much bigger inside than you'd think. I had lunch on Sunday. Good quality pub fare, including roasts. Very reasonably priced.

I bloody LOVE the Tuns, the most friendly and fun pub I've been to in Bristol. Jade who runs the place is AWESOME and brilliant and I love her. ❤️ They have great beers from local breweries and are always well stocked with Monster Munch, faves.

This pub has been a sound establishment in the last 10 years I've lived in Bristol. The cask, keg, and fridge selection has always been 'big'. Always a clean line, always a welcoming packet of pork scratchings; yes. Come here; drink beer; enjoy.

Life saver after climbing the Cabot Tower.

Went for beer and it had a good selection plenty of seating. Didn't try food. Loads of gluten free beers on tap.

Nice inside and really spacious outdoor terrace which has heaters! The staff were very friendly and the drinks were reasonably priced. Atmosphere for a saturday night was lacking though.

A really nice pub, it has a good feeling as soon as you walk in with tastefully bright colours on the furniture and a very good selection of beers and wines. What gave it 5 star's was the greetings from the bar staff and their welcome. She's brilliant. Dog's are welcome and it's not a pub that's only for students. In fact it has a good local feeling An interesting mural on the side as well.

This gem of a pub is conveniently located on the edge of Bristol's bustling centre and is perfect for a quiet afternoon away from the bustle.

Top selection of local beers. Selection of al fresco and indoor ambience, catering for all. Top barmaid. There's also a Nicholas Cage sign outside. What more do you want?

Nice vibe here, I'd like it to be my local! Bigger than it looks from outside but still not huge and they don't have the biggest range of drinks on tap but it's just a nice chilled place you can escape from sport etc 😉

Good choice of cask ale, although not as much choice of Arbour ales as I'd like. Inside feels a touch cramped but has a covered outdoor area.

The staff here were great, friendly and helpful. Drinks were reasonably priced and the little terraced thing was a lovely place to sit and chat.

A reliable boozer with above average beer and a fondness for Nicholas Cage.

A fabulous selection of beers. If your are into IPAs, NEPAs and those strange fruity ales (the rhubarb IPA was a winner judging by the number of people drinking it) this is the place to come. A far better selection than the Grain Barge (although I have only been to the Barge coming out of the pandemic so could be talking out my backside with this particular part of my review - next stop the Grain Barge to check I'm right - will update in due course)

Super aggressive barmaid. Made me feel ashamed for having to use the bathroom due to a disability. Demanded I bought a drink and made a public fuss in front of other customers. I left embarrassed, quickly. Would not recommend.

Miserable bar maid..used to like going here occasionally, but unless you are a local user she is just so sullen. OMG...just greet people nicely, we are spending over £5 a pint!!!!!!!

Very cool place with a good selection of beer and cider. You can have a street table, inside table or a secret garden table. It's usually quite busy.

never been here, thought I'd try it .very pleasant young lady behind the bar ,welcomed us brillianty. table service (can't wait for the 19th ) might be able to stand near the bar lol 😆good prices ,well worth the visit ,theve also a outdoor heated area under cover ,brilliant for football and free
