A quiet, village pub. Cosy in the winter with the open fire. Good beers kept well. Friendly landlord. Helpful staff. Decent food at reasonable prices.

Hannah and her lovely Team are serving delicious home-cooked recipes in a stunning English country village pub in Wiltshire. My meal was served hot, full of flavour and was seasoned to perfection. With a fabulous range of wines to suit every pallet, and local beers, every taste is catered for. They deserve every single one of these five stars. Wishing you all every success in the future. I will be back next week!

The mini aausage dish was poor with the sausages being very 'bready' and the veg. Gave the impression it was warmed up from lunchtime. . The prawn Jalfrezi was excellent however. £29.50 for a so so Pinot was too steep and 11.70 for a glass of ordinary Sauvignon was too much. We have been going to the Bell for years with no complaints only praises. However we were disappointed this time

I was so looking forward to having a decent Kebab for a change but Sammy your Doner Kebab meat was not good. Salad tasted fresh and was plentiful and I’d guess it would be ok if you’re were drunk but the meat was wafer thin and was chopped up like a two year old child’s meal. I even told you it was my first time visit. I won’t be returning if this is your best !
