The Three Ewes Tea Room in Stratford-on-Avon

There is a cute sheep theme going on here. The table cloth with cartoon sheep and woollen rugs make for a pleasant and homely environment. Big windows make it a very bright place to enjoy a coffee. The food was a bit disappointing thought. The menu is not particularly expansive and the cakes on the counter were nothing special when I visited. A little garnish with a panini would be good. A little salad, crisps, dip?

Delicious home made cakes and best pot of tea this visit to the Cotswolds. Warm welcome from staff . Spotlessly clean facilities.

I had a puncture here and the cafe owners were so kind and offered to help and even drop me home. I also had offers of help from two customers so thank you all. The scrambled egg and smoked salmon was delicious and I would highly recommend it. As was the white chocolate and raspberry cookie.

Delicious coffee and plenty of variety on the menu. This epitomises all that is good about Shipston. Really friendly and helpful staff. Can’t wait to be more adventurous exploring the menu, but I’m carrying enough condition already and couldn’t bear to be denied my favourite. Sadly closed on Mondays

we only stopped for coffee. My wife has an intollerance to cows milk. No problem here they had Oat milk. When they fetched the coffee it usually comes with a piece of biscotti but the lady serving us said she wasn't sure if it contained milk so she had substituted the biscotti on my wifes coffee to a plain chocolate which did not have cows milk. So excellent caring service. Would recommend.

This lovely tea room is behind the high street and well worth a visit - mince pies were divine and so hot chocolate .... yummy!

Very brief stop. The cafe is in a lovely spot for watching the world go by and it’s very well presented. The service was very friendly. Great choice of teas and cake on offer. The cakes we tried were very tasty indeed. Will be returning to try some of the other things on offer very soon 👍

Absolutely loved this gem of a cafe. I had brunch, avocado and poached egg on sour dough - cooked to perfection and I’m VERY fussy! Lovely atmosphere, very clean and really friendly stuff, they were busy but it was a really calm unhurried atmosphere, so I couldn’t resist staying for the Victoria sponge and a cappuccino. Would highly recommend.

It was a lovely sunny day we popped in, you could see it was a relaxing atmosphere, the food was great but it took almost fifty mins to cook cheese and onion sandwich and a cheese and mushroom sandwich! otherwise staff were friendly, place was clean,it is fairly new, would come again when not in a rush

Very enjoyable visit to the Three Ewes for tea and cake, plus the added bonus of the yummy tiny chocolate sheep on my teaspoon!

Bit unsure after reading some of the reviews but sampling revealed that this is a little gem! Indeed so good that that coffee and cake segued into lunch - a truly delicious home made fish chowder (the Friday special). To clarify (as this may explain some gripes) the way it works is that you go and browse (or lust after) the cakes, or other food, order and pay and the food is brought to you. The staff were friendly and attentive ...the prices good ...its off the beaten track in a very charming arcade, so quiet to have a chat. Worth remarking on the china used from a local pottery. A find to return to ! Thanks.

Lovely atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff. The Three Ewes is a regular haunt of mine and I will keep on coming back. Nothing is too much trouble and will tweak the menu if asked. Lovely menu and very reasonably priced.

The 3 ewes cafe is a regular haunt of mine. I often go after work and have a glass of wine. I have to say their rose Pinot is especially good. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, and I never feel uncomfortable being there on my own. They have a lovely vegan chocolate cake which is very light and airy, even though I myself am not vegan. On a Saturday I go with my daughter for lunch,and we have their flatbreads with pesto, cheese and tomatoes and salad, which is very good. I would highly recommend a visit. Everything is prepared and cooked to order, so if you have to wait 10 minutes for your food it is well worth the wait. At the end of the day if you want fast food, go to McDonald’s.

Super tea rooms, with a lovely atmosphere. Good selection of freshly made cakes. I had a generous slice of millionaire shortbread which was delicious. The service was fast and friendly.If you haven’t visited yet, then it is definitely worth giving it a try.

My husband and I stopped off for lunch here, excited to try as heard good things locally.

Following all the hype I thought I would give it a go. Very disappointed indeed. Staff were unfriendly and frankly very offhand. Everything appeared to be too much effort for them.

We had a late lunch here.Generous well filled sandwiches.Good value.The food is freshly prepared by the delightful staff.The cakes are yummy.You can also have an alcoholic beverage.Good veggie/vegan options.Chocolate ewes are served with hot drinks which is a quirky touch.

Lovely little cafe full of character, great decor, comfy, cosy with great service. Delicious smoked haddock chowder with sourdough for lunch. Would highly recommend.

We sat outside on the sunny terrace enjoying coffee, delicious homemade scones and raspberry almond cake and an excellent gluten free coronation chicken sandwich. All beautifully presented and served on custom made china. Definitely worth a visit.

A lovely atmosphere, with friendly and efficient staff who are happy to assist. Met a friend for a birthday catch-up and they were lovely when they realised it was her birthday and even decorated her plate with a happy birthday. Highly recommended.

Fantastic addition to Shipston with lovely airy space for coffee / breakfast / lunch. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful, clientele mixed with young and old.
