The Three Cups in East Riding of Yorkshire

This place is beautiful great place for food, the burger I had was really nice and very tasty and the staff was great and thanks to jenny that served me and my girlfriend

I ordered a pint of Neck oil which was very poor quality; it looked and tasted like it was watered down. I ordered the signature burger which had so much sauce in it that the bread went soggy and flat shortly after I picked it up, and then it pretty much fell apart. Burgers are hand food, they shouldn't need to be eaten with a knife and fork. Also, a good burger shouldn't need any sauce. The service of the staff was good, but my experience of the food and drink on this occasion has put me off returning. It was not money well spent. There are other places I would recommend higher.

So disappointed tonight.Call quite often as a stop off to Bridlington but tonight was unpleasant. Sat down in the bar area (seemed logical as only having a drink)..to be told all the tables with the comfy chairs in the 'Bar" area were reserved..even though no signs on them...my partner had already bought the drinks so we were allocated to the one available table right opposite the bar with uncomfortable seats and right next to the door so was chilly and very drafty..funny though as whilst we had our one drink sat at the only available table, a single guy came in and sat at a table for four in the comfy bar area and all the other tables remained empty?

Poor food for the price. Nearly £17 for hunters chicken which had about 6 chips with it and was poor quality. Bacon fatty and cheese sauce flavourless. Tiny amount of wilted salad. Overpriced and really poor quality

We’ve enjoyed a lovely Sunday dinner made just brilliant by the staff - John and Holly. We were welcomed and attended to fantastically during our visit. The food was the best we’ve had here. Another mention to John and Holly for their fantastic service! Thank you!

We called in because we were staying at a nearby campsite and wanted something local. If I'm honest my expectations weren't that high but I was pleasantly surprised! There was plenty of vegan choice (including for kids), and the aubergine gratin was excellent (which is saying something, aubergine is easy to get wrong!). Great drinks menu too, we really enjoyed the in-house sodas. Highly recommended!

My wife and I enjoyed A very pleasant Birthday meal and fizz, celebrating my Birthday. The meals were great, well presented and tasted wonderful. John and his team made us very welcome and the service was great There was even a candle on my desert. Well done all.

We had Sunday lunch at The Three Cups. We received a warm welcome. We both had the roast beef Sunday lunch and I think that the Yorkshire pudding was the best I have had. There were lots of vegetables to accompany it. The service was excellent. This was a lovely experience. My husband was surprised that there was no service charge and insisted on tipping! The staff deserved no less.

Have had several good meals here but sadly last night was disappointing. We were not warned before ordering that several items were unavailable on the menu. One meal then had to be returned as the fish in the fish & chips was brown and inedible ! (suspect not cod or haddock although was priced as if it is ?). One guest asked for a poached egg with the gammon but the kitchen couldnt cope with that complication and insisted on serving a fried egg which was solid ! Sorry Vintage Inns we know you can do a lot better

We recently went for lunch at the three cups , three of our party had steak ciabatta’s, One was nice but the other two had fat and gristle running through the steaks . The only person who enjoyed them was our dog ! Such a shame as we go fairly regularly, but it’s not the first time we’ve had a bad steak experience.

3 courses advertised £27.95. For fathers day. To be fair i did not take my glasses. And i ordered rump steak. Did not notice i would be charged £6 extra for the steak.if i had seen that. Definitely would not have had it. If it had been good it would not have been so painful. But it was just grisly and chewy. So charged £6 extra for a poor steak. So i will be crossing 3cups off my list of places to go.

I tried to book for lunch yesterday for my Mum, sister & myself but was thwarted at every attempt. First I tried the telephone system (you can't actually speak to anyone) I got as far as requesting a 12.30 slot but the system came back with "sorry that time is not available but there is a 12.30 (!!!) slot available, press 1 to accept" so I did but again it came back with the same response. So I tried the website, no joy there either... by this time it was too late for a 12.30 so I tried a 12.45 slot but the system wouldn't accept that either. We thought they would be quiet with the bridge being closed but didn't want to walk down on spec. as my Mother can't walk very fast so I tried the telephone system again but the same thing happened. Needless to say we went elsewhere....

I went for Valentines Day with my wife as we were in York, UK for a funeral that week. We have eaten here several times before. The food was typical pub fare but it was good. Never had a bad meal here and reasonable

We booked the Three Cups to celebrate my nanas 98th birthday as a family which included relatives travelling from Germany. We were very disappointed with what should have been a positive memorable experience. Service was terrible, crockery and cutlery was washed but not clean (greasy) the food was disappointing overall, a small number of team members let the overall team down. The honeypot dessert was amazing.

I like this place. Open fires, great atmosphere and good staff. I had the red wine lasagne and oh my.... it came with garlic baguette and my choice of chips. Wow, lots of browned melted cheese on top so plenty to dip into!

We were on holiday in the Stamford Bridge area and this restaurant was recommended to us by the owner of the holiday cottage we were renting. It was certainly worth the visit as the food was really lovely, tasty and well presented and the prices were competetive

Sunday Lunch walk ins . Warm welcome, exceptionally good waiting staff especially Keiran. Tro roast dinner first class perfectly cooked , veg amazing and everything piping hot despite the fact they were exceptionally busy. Thank you all for an amazing dining experience.

4 bus passes for booked lunch. Staff friendly. Real value with 2 course lunch menu ,especially the ham and eggs. Portions of good size, tasty and beer on top form. Let down slightly by mustard served in its shop jar with a desert spoon and a served drink spilled and not wiped on dining table. Will certainly call again.

The most expensive bowl of salad leaves I've ever had. My meal had the least substance but highest cost, absolute rip off!

I've eaten at the Three Cups on a number of occasions and I can honestly say, every time has been great. It starts when you walk through the door and approach the bar - Staff are always friendly, welcoming and most importantly, greet you with a smile! The menu is well balanced with a decent selection for everyone. Just like everywhere these days, the cost soon mounts up, especially when you are a family of 4-6. However, the saving grace is the fact the food is good and the portion sizes are great! Well done also to the staff in the kitchen who are producing well cooked, well presented food in a timely manner. If you are wanting good wholesome grub in a great environment with super service then this is the place to go. Its so important for the management and staff at the Three Cups to keep up the high levels of Customer Service. It's one of the things that makes people like me come back, time and time again!

After a busy weekend at the coast we all wanted to stop for a good heart Sunday lunch and this place didn’t fail. The service was friendly, the prices were reasonable and the food was delicious the only thing they need to change is charging extra for a gravy boat everyone needs lots of gravy on a roast.

This was our second visit. The food was exceptional, fresh and delicious. The menu suits everyone.The pub is wonderful and beautifully decorated with plenty of outside space.
