THE BEST PUB SUNDAY ROAST WE HAVE HAD IN YEARS!!! The pub is olde worlde beautiful, warm and cosy. Every member of staff was welcoming, attentive, accommodating and friendly. The food was outstanding!!!! Compliments to the chef. We will be returning as often as we can. Highly recommended!

My husband and myself enjoyed lovely food tonight, my husband ordered two starters as a main, chicken skewers and cauliflower, I ordered duck salad and all was delicious and very satisfying, many thanks to the staff and chef.

We had the best wedding party here. Bobbi and Jessie made sure that our party ran smoothly from start to finish. The food is great and the pub garden has a really relaxed and friendly atmosphere. I would highly recommend this venue for anybody looking to celebrate an event.

This little local pub is a lovely sanctuary after a long day! It’s our local and having been in and out over the years, it just gets better and better. The recent refurbed dining area and large outdoor garden is fantastic. You can tell a lot of thought has been put into the different sections of the pub whether that’s the snug, the deck chairs, new outdoor tables and the general ambiance. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The food and new menus are excellent. The burger with beef brisket is to die for alongside the Sunday roasts. It is by far one of (if not the) leading pubs in Bushey and the surrounding areas. The owners have done a brilliant job over the last 12 months so make it a local, welcoming community pub.

Such a disappointment. Had a burger topped with cheese and bacon. I waited 30 minutes. The steak was over overcooked. A piece of coal in a bun and I desperately tried to find where the cheese was. With a foster, I paid more than 20 GBP... it must be a joke!

The landlady was extremely rude when politely asked what time the heaters would be turned on :) her response was full of attitude “they won’t be” “I’d prefer not to turn the heaters on in July” “it’s really not that cold outside” a simple question did not deserve the passive aggressiveness we were met with and keeping in mind we were at this pub on Friday outside and the heaters were turned on hence why we were under the impression they would be turned on at some point. Also may I add that whilst yes it is July we have had rain throughout the day and it was not warm outside at all. Other customers we spoke with also agreed it was cold. We have visited this pub many times and always had a wonderful experience with the rest of the staff. Such a shame and as for the “unkind comments about her appearance” it was a description of her age and hair? We did not think to ask for a name as we really felt quite uncomfortable and upset that we had been spoken to so rudely for asking a simple question. Would like to add that we went over to the horse and chains after who happily put the heaters on for us outside :)

Huge portions, well cooked meal, good choices and a reasonable price. The staff were very nice and accommodated our wierd choices. Highly recommended

I went for Sunday Dinner. I had trouble finding an unbooked table but just as I decided I was not going to eat after all I found a table in the snug. I put my book on the table to reserve it, ordered my meal and told the server at the bar that I had a table. But then I went down to the snug to find the table had been given to a couple, better than a solo eh?, and my book had been removed by the server. I was left with no choice except to go out into the garden. The food was mostly OK but the vegatables were cold. Particulary the Broccoli that seemed to have been served straight from the fridge. Unlikely to get my custom for meals ever again.

Hello. Another visit for a little celebration. We had the alcove all to ourselves. Great service and attention. Did not have to wait long for food or drinks. Delicious food and good portions. Id recommend the IPA and non alcoholic Guiness if not a drinker. It tasted like the real thing. A very friendly pub. Thank you!

Lovely pub, lovely food, lovely people. A large group of family and friends visited the Three Crowns on a Saturday afternoon over the Easter weekend and having originally booked a large table inside for 15 plus people inside, the weather perked up and we were desperate to sit outside in their charming beer garden! Despite the upheaval Kris and Bobbi’s team were so accommodating and didn’t mind one bit. The food was superb in terms of quality but also value. A proper portion! I had the steak baguette which was ridiculously good and couldn’t help but dip into my daughter’s breaded chicken from the children’s menu! The Guinness was exceptional too which is always a good barometer of a good pub! The staff were all lovely, and the head chef/landlord, Kris, even stopped by to check we were all enjoying ourselves. We most certainly were. Thanks again Three Crowns!

Agree, cozy place, good environment. The staff is nice, very agile and efficient. The food is good in general, but the wings a little rare and too much BBQ sauce. The sandwich was very good and the vegetable tart also great. Good variety of beer. Good overall.

Had my 60th birthday celebration with friends i play badminton and do pilates with. The venue was clean, warm friendly staff, the room just the right size for 30 friends. Had a buffet, food was 10/10, Staff 10/10, always a pleasure on the other time i have visited.

We recently dined here for a very special occasion. Our grandparents sixtieth Wedding Anniversary 🎉🥂. Overall first class service, food was exceptional, arrived in time (so that all were able to consume at the same time) Food arrived hot and extremely generous portion sizes. Service was always with a warm smile, the Manageress couldn't have been more accommodating. Would highly recommend 👍🏼😊

Just celebrated our 60th wedding anniversary at the 3crowns. Everyone said how lovely the food and plenty of it was. There were 14 of us dining and not one single complaint. Highly recommended. Thank you to all staff who looked after us. Exellent service. Shall see you again soon

I was infatuated with Wham! from the age of 13. My wish has been to visit Bushey and feel their spirt. This pub was nothing as I expected. It’s a superb and traditional inn that is residential and well maintained. The ‘snug’ where George and Andrew sat felt unique and the subtle testimonial to them (in there) was touching. This is a very warm local that I hope to visit again.

First time here, had a fabulous Sunday lunch with family. Very family friendly with children and the food is excellent. Our waitress Jess couldn’t do enough for us, will definitely be back soon ☺️

First time I have been here today and I can assure you it won't be the last. Me and my husband had the roast, I had the pork and he had the beef. The portion size was spot on and they weren't stingy with the meat, gravey or veg. I must say it is one of the best roasts that I have had in the area. The service was very attentive. My son had garlic bread which was cooked to perfection and the side of skinny chips what a great portion and were delicious. Very good value for money. I look forward to visiting you again.

We had a private party there and it was excellent. The whole event was well organised and the buffet food we ordered was delicious. Staff were very helpful and we all had a lovely time.

Visited the 3 Crowns on a whim having not been there for at least 3 years. We found an improved but smaller menu and were served a delicious and outstanding dinner beautifully presented.

I visited last Saturday with a friend and we had a wonderful time. I was unsure what to choose for and George who was working behind the bar helped make my decision. I ended up with a halloumi wrap and my friend had a burger. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Having eaten in many of the local pubs I found the price of the meal to be lower than the competition, but the quality of the food wasn’t lacking.

A tale of two meals A delicious duck wrap, tasty and packed with duck. Burger and chips. The burger was overcooked, very dry with dry bacon also overcooked. Both meals had chunky chips which were good, unfortunately both meals included red coleslaw which had a bitter taste.

We had sweetcorn fritters, duck spring rolls, kids sausages &chips, chicken &panchetta pie, cheese& bacon burger. Sweetcorn fritters are tiny & only 3 so not worth the price Duck spring rolls were fried to death Kid’s sausage was good size portion but again sausage fried to death Pie had lots of meat in but sauce was very cheesy and mash was dangerous hot. One of those where it’s basically stew with a hat. What little pastry their was was nice. Cheese and bacon burger was dry. The cheese was like a sauce and so strong it really spoiled the burgers Lovely little garden and a good range of drinks. It used to do excellent food but this is the second time we have left feeling it was just ok and not great. It’s edible but unfortunately we won’t be going back. The price is too expensive for mediocrity at best

It's an average pub with average food. The people are friendly but the restaurant has a limited vegetarian choice and unfortunately the food didn't feel it was freshly made. Great place for a good beer.

lovely Sunfay roast, but the restaurant section was very drafty so some of our party were very cold. It was during our very cold snap, but the cold wind bkew through the kitchen doors

Absolutely love this pub/ restaurant! Lovely staff, yummy menu, lovely inside and outside areas to eat and drink. Dog friendly🥰 Comfy and homely feel. Delicious food, we had the homemade soup, chicken roast and roast in a roll. Vegan ice cream, woohoo. The waitress even made sure to let us know that the churros are not vegan; very caring atmosphere. Generous GF menu. Music in the background, perfect volume for chatting with your family. Absolutely love this gem in Bushey, we'll be back to visit soon ☕️😋🥨

Start with the bad - we came in for something to eat, granted it was a Sunday and in the bar area not reaturaunt , staff seemed nice however the meal fell well below par for the price we paid. When you pay £14 pound for a car very you would expect it to be good . We ordered at the. At abs food was dropped to the table 25 minutes later, fine it was busy but the foot itself was definitely not what I had hoped fpr . We ordered a beef roast x2 and pasta for our daughter Yorkshire pudding was ROCK hard, absolutely inedible , 3 roast potatoes that were black, oily and as of they had sat at the bottom of a greasy pan for a few hours . The beef was nice but the quantity overall we still felt hungry . What’s more is two carvery were delivered to the table next to us that looked great they had much more than two carrots and a few green beans ! It was so disappointing , it was also fairly expensive ! We couldn’t even have a discreet word with anybody because there was nobody to ask and it was too busy to get to the bar. Wouldn’t be eating there again, I have had far better at a Toby carvery , paid less and go away full up. People in the pub were nice and it is a nice little pub, dog allowed which is great but food was such a shame
