Fantastic place for a lunch 😀 great sandwiches

Popped in to get a takeaway lunch. Salad was really healthy and fresh, highly recommend!

This is a great cafe, good coffee, wonderfully cakes and good seating options and friendly staff

Came to this cafe for lunch and coffee, I had the fresh daily salad mix which was tasty and vibrant in colour. I came midday so was very busy but managed to grab a seat outside 🙂

Honestly the best food I’ve eaten in Penzance this week! Delicious and freshly prepared! Can’t fault the food or the service!

Delicious coffee & cakes. My wife and I returned today (04/04) and had a sandwich each,it was so delicious I forgot to take a photo of it to post. Never disappoints,always great food and drinks and lovely friendly helpful service. 25/05/24, excellent cheese & onion sandwich and flat white.

Excellent place for lunch in Penzance. Friendly cafe with excellent menu choice and plenty of options for vegetarian and vegan dinners. High quality delicious food.

The cake was pretty much the best I’ve ever eaten at a cafe. It looked freshly baked and appetising to look at. The coffee and tea were lovely too. Prompt and polite service from the staff and they are very good at catering for customers who like me have special dietary requirements. Well worth a visit.

Beef brisket and Stilton baguette was to die for! Food was such good quality and result good value, plus service was fantastic. Would definitely visit again when in the area ☺️

This is a very pleasant and popular cafe and coffee shop. It's about halfway down Market Jew Street, facing south, so gets lot's of sun on such days. Like most of the cafes in Penzance, and other towns and cities, it shuts at 4pm. It's shut on Sundays. It's usually busy, the service we had was really good, and the coffee for me was excellent. I was planning to have some lunch, - their sandwiches looked particularly good - but it was too early for me. Hence I haven't scored the food mark. My friend and I stayed for quite a long time having several coffees, she had a coronation chicken sandwich with salad.

Asked for gluten free salad box. It had gluten in it. I am now ill and very unhappy. Gluten free isn't for picky eaters, its for people who are allergic to gluten. Take it seriously! Box also came with a broken plastic fork.

Fantastic place to pop by for brunch. A large variety of food available and drinks are make quickly. Breakfast muffin was fantastic!

Was too busy enjoying the delicious Pesto Chicken and Avocado sandwich to take a photo I’m afraid! But this is a fabulous place with a friendly team serving great food. My sandwich came with crisps, salad and coleslaw which went down a treat. To top it off, I highly recommend their Milkshakes, I went for the Banana flavoured one which was lovely 🥰 thanks again for a great lunch!

Speedy service lovely coffee and a delicious chicken sandwich lovely fresh bread home made coleslaw served in a quirky tin loved it !!

Lovely food, excellent service and value for money. The art on display adds to the chilled vibe downstairs, a true haven in the middle of town - a welcome break from shopping. Absolutely love this place and visit every time I am in Pz 😀

Absolutely brilliant selection of hot and cold sandwiches/subs. Incredibly delicious and good value. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Cream tea (or coffee) £10 for two people. Two scones each, clotted cream, jam and some blueberries plus a very decent cup of coffee. Salads for lunch looked excellent but didn't try. Highly recommended for a pit stop.

Cute little cafe with so many choices for cakes we ordered Two cream teas and one bake well slice! The cups and presentation was lovely and the scones was so fresh! I love a nice cream tea and this place is lovely to visit and watch the outside as you eat :)

Had an amazing brunch roast dinner sandwich here on our visit to Cornwall. Delicious food and a lovely strawberry milkshake too.

Setting and coffee was nice. However forgot about our food order for 30 minutes and the only thing offered was an apology saying they had lost our ticket... pretty shocking service for something very simple...

Am sitting inside the terrace as i write this, good calming music, Excellent coffee, and just had an extremely nice and filling sandwich packed with chicken, pesto, advocado. Also ordered a salad, which is so well put together, packed with flavour and fresh. Was so good, I ate too fast and forgot to post a picture!!! A must for a healthy chilled out lunch!!

Helpful, amenable staff and lovely food.

Came across this gem whilst visiting Penzance today. Sat outside as it was fine. The staff were great, very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. I had a BLT and coffee both of which were delicious. My husband had a special chicken sandwich which was packed full of chicken, and bread was so soft, would certainly recommend.

Really nice cafe, food was tasty (pork and stuffing sub roll) and came quickly and the staff were friendly. They were also happy to allow dogs in.

Visited this lovely little gem,on Friday 10th for lunch. Service was excellent,staff really friendly and the food was fantastic.we will definitely be back to try something else on the menu, I give them 5 Stars.

DOG FRIENDLY! Had a tasty experience at this lovely little place, nothing was to much for their friendly staff. Vegan options available and could not give a bad word about any of it.

The only experience I have of the place is there 5 mins ago. I took my turn in the queue and despite there being three ladies behind the counter, not one of them bothered to make eye contact or greet me in any way when it came to by turn. Very uncoordinated and amateurish. I patiently waited and then gave up waiting basically!! Penzance really sucks for food venues so was disappointed at their blatant rudeness. I work in a similar environment and would always take the time acknowledge a potential customer.

A good shout for coffee and cake, prices are what I'd consider 'ok' and the interior allows for a reasonably relaxed stay. Good choice of food and drinks, quiet but efficient service.

Food made to order and brought to your table. Very enjoyable.

Lovely food, shame the service was bad. Order was taken item by item and made item by item instead of written down, paid for, made, and brought to table. I had to wait while each dish was prepared before giving next dish then pay, then I had to ask for a tray and carry said very heavy tray of food down a slippery metal spiral staircase myself, I couldn't even see where I was putting my feet, very hard work. Another person had to to carry down a hot pot of tea and another customer had to help her. Surely you give your order, pay, and when it's ready, it's brought to your table??? Madness.

Best lunch I've had in Cornwall. Fresh fruit used for smoothies rather than the poor quality juices from concentrate most places seem to use.A mouth watering choice of lunch options. Friendly staff, nice seating perfect spot for lunch.

Good home prepared food. Usual quasi Mediterranean fayre but tasty and nice location. Not cheap but, unusually, worth every penny
