Terrible place, the greens are shocking, no car taken care of. Me and my friends came to play with no. Experience just to take our time . After 2 hours a man came in a van and started shouting at us for taking too long, not to mention we were the only people on the course, he was trying to make us pay for a club that was already broken. I would NOT recommend!!!

Poor conditions staff were rude and incompetent and did not allow for us to take our time during our game rushed us off and gave us poor clubs with a bend in it and told us it is our fault forced us to pay 10 pound for "repairs"

Much improved from a few years ago, the greens are much greener than they once were. The bunkers could do with some sand and due to the changed layout of the course they could do with work on the tees but good value for money and the staff are helpful and friendly. They are currently modernising the crazy golf, astroturf or some sort of resin rather than concrete would make for a better experience but it’s still a fun place to entertain the kids

Don't really want to give them 5 stars as everyone will know what a hidden gem this place is!! I have to be in Chippenham for work one day a week and squeezing in a quick 9 holes at lunchtime is a real treat.

Fantastic little spot at friendly prices to spend an hour or two.

Lovely mini golf, football gold and pitch and putt facility and a cafe as well. Great to have this!

There's a lovely coffee shop on site, with some unique art on sale and super friendly staff. The course itself is great fun. There were 2 adults and 6 kids in our group, it took us 4 hours and we laughed the entire time. Affordable and a great setting.

We did the foot golf today and the lady was quite rude to my son and wish I had something to her after thinking about it, it made us feel quite uncomfortable but the kids absolutely loved doing the foot golf

Lovely tearoom on the south end of Monkton Park, you know it and probably passed so many times, the brown hut. Lovely tea and coffee and some cake too. Perfect and lovely and warm in winter as they have a smashing log burner going on cold days. Great place to relax and they are dog friendly too. Thanks. Lyndon & Sandy [the dog].

A little gem in the middle of town 😊

There is a miserable woman who works on the front desk/tea room who can't smile or make a coffee. Customer service skills are non existent. The actual pitch and putt course is well kept and enjoyable to play. Haven't played crazy golf there in long time as it hasn't been updated or maintained for the past 30 years that I have lived here.

I’m sorry, but the adventure golf course is terrible. It’s made of concrete which makes it virtually impossible to make any decent attempts at a reasonable score per hole. Even trying to tee off and the ball launches itself into the air. Would definitely not recommend this place!

Had a nice day at a Great Greyhound walk. Golf was available there plus Crazy golf and something that looked like a cross between Football and Golf. A great place to take the family. The tenth hole Cafe is there. Take the family there for a pleasant day out together.

Great pitch and put that has been in chippenham forever. Very reasonably priced and a nice way to spend an hour with the fam. Lots of different putters for people of all sizes. Well worth a visit to the 10th hole for a coffee and cake.

Small cafe limited meals soup , toasties , baked potatoes but all food is very nicely prepared and tasty . Nice friendly staff

Miserable staff and uneven holes. Don't waste your money

The golf course was good. Unfortunetly there was a civil war reenactment in the park near by with at least an hour of very loud cannons and gunfire. The civil war society were using horses, for this event. Needless to say they were terrified and the stress was clearly visable to see. This was animal cruelty and it would be possible without using animals.

Had lots of fun with daughter and grandchildren

Very rude lady at reception, pretty much ruined the visit from the start. Mini golf is really poor, ball doesn’t go in a straight line and really needs to be maintained better. Pitch and putt looked decent but didn’t have time. Won’t be returning unfortunately.

Nice Sunday afternoon with the kids

Course isn't maintained at all. Crackers and broken course all over the place. Kids didn't really enjoy it. Putters bent. Coffee cup lids don't fit. Really out dated and not even worth a free go. Would need to pay people to use. Bring it back to a modern standard and keep up with the times. Wouldn't give it a star but had to to leave a review.

Played crazy golf, needs updating and unfortunately there was dog mess by the holes. The main golf looks fine and you can know play foot golf.

Decided to play this par 3 on a Sunday afternoon.It was fun and the holes went from about 60yards up to about 150.They do supply you with an iron and a putter. Your better off bringing your own balls as they charge a £1.a ball not sure if you get that back if you don't lose any .You can also get hot and cold drinks .Don't expect professional greens and fairways as you will be disappointed.

The owner was really unpleasant to a couple of 8 year olds today. It was so unnecessary and rude and they don’t want to ever go back to play golf again. It’s a odd business strategy as I imagine kids are the core market but they were pretty unwelcoming right from the start. Such a shame as this has potential to be a great asset to Chippenham and a fun activity for the summer holiday. Avoid.

Extremely rude staff. No one manning the kiosk where you are now suppose to order from the cafe due to Corona restrictions. Only one tiny sign explaining this, which I had missed on the way in, I waited patiently and looled at the menu, when I opened the door to the cafe to ask for assistance politely and make an order I was shouted at and spoken to like I was stupid. Also spoke to my friend and his 6 YEAR OLD son who had chosen to play golf there very rudely. Didnt even order from the cafe after the way I was spoken to. Explained that I felt she was very rude and I was going to take my custom elsewhere she told me she doesnt want my custom anyway just because I refuse to be spoken to in such a tone. Wouldnt recommend!

Brilliant crazy girl course, very friendly and great ice cream/cake available afterwards.

Such a great place to go simp for a girl then check the scores if y'know y'know. And I will never go foot golf cuz it's so boring even tho Benji picks ups all the girls there.

Great activity centre for the family. Football golf being the family favourite! Pitch and putt and crazy golf available to. There could be some attention given to overall area and staff seem a bit over it at times! But a great spot for a family challenge!

It's a fun little course in need of some TLC. The greens are not the best but the good range of holes makes up for that to a large extent. It's good value. There's a nice little cafe on site.

Nice place in Chippenham, mini-golf is possibly one of the worst mini golf courses I've ever been to - do not recommend! But the football golf and park is nice.

Played crazy golf with the grandchildren two days ago. Came with a friend and three dogs for a drink this morning. It's a lovely, unpretentious place to relax and have low-key, low-cost fun.

Great place and brilliant lady at the kiosk

This is a small, friendly tea room with excellent cake. We went for a long walk on a cold sunny day and dropped in for a cup of tea on the way home. The staff are friendly and the room was warm and cosy. Dogs are allowed in, which is great for walkers, and children are encouraged to play with the toys from the box in the corner.

Good size pitch and putt golf course. Great for amateur golfers (not phil) £7.50 each. Some holes were over 140yards. Grass was cut ok, greens bumpy in places but fine (it is winter after all!). Mini golf was £2 each! Only thing I would say, advertise the prices for golf better, we had to ask in the coffee shop - a sign outside would have been better. Mini golf could do with a bit of a clean up. The golf course should be busier on a Sunday afternoon. I’d recommend.

Nice peaceful to play a game or two of foot golf , people there are lovely and friendly. Definitely recommend to friends.

A lovely place to have a coffee and a slice of cake. Friendly, independent and nothing is ever too much trouble. Will be back.

We went to monkton park for the bonfire night fireworks this year for the first time having recently moved to the area. The firework display was wonderful and was very well organised. However the owners of this cafe (which is located in monkton Park) decided that it would be good idea to destroy people’s experience of this event by holding up the firework display by around 45 mins in the middle of the event by standing in the hazard area of the display meaning the fireworks could not be set off!!!!! This not only meant that my 13 month old and my 3 year old had to stand in the cold much longer than they needed to but it also meant that my children had to go to bed much much later than expected causing over tiredness meltdowns and completely ruining the end of our evening!! I have not eaten at this cafe but if this is how the owners behave and what their personalities represent I’m not sure I ever want to!!

Sadly the owners decided to open past their normal hours and refused to stay indoors during the 5th November fireworks display causing a lengthy delay as the cafe was inside the fireworks danger area. Hundreds of people including many family's forced to stand in the rain whilst the organisers negotiated with the cafe owners. Clearly they think they own the park and they don't care for the hundreds of people they inconvenienced. Selfish and inconsiderate.

Hats off to you for putting the entire family firework display to a halt this evening. We all waited in the pouring rain for you to get out of the way for the show to continue. Feel sorry for the families with young children who had to leave after paying for the event. Feel sorry for the organisers who had to stop the music and show because of you. Won’t be visiting your cafe ever again

We went here to play foot-golf, we had a good age spread but everyone had fun, some of the holes are challenging . You can take your own ball or there are some there, I'm not sure if you hire the ball or just borrow them

Good cheap family fun. A bit of TLC needed on course but still very enjoyable. Food & drinks a available in club house

Not sure how its classed as a golf course basically a feild with holes. Fairway the same length as the greens. Good enough i guess. Not that cheap either

Really needs sprucing up on the inside as it looks rather tired and dated. A general tidy up around the doorways would be nice but the staff are friendly and the prices are good.

Great little 18 hole crazy golf, concrete but our boys love it. Always fairly quiet and it’s well looked after.

Always love playing golf here so decided to get an ice cream after as was a nice hot day. Went up the veranda with my clubs and my friend used the gate as didn't want our clubs nicked, to then be yelled at very rudely by the women who runs it. Funny how they have a sign up saying "manners cost nothing" think they should take the sign down and have it behind the till to remind them. Can say McDonald's self service machine was much friendlier and somewhere I will return too and not the tenth hole that's for sure. Worked in catering and hospitality and never spoke to customers at all like this, shame because it's a nice course but won't be returning in the future.

Great for walking the dog but not much for the children over 8 to do nice river to walk if you pick your way through the dissgarded chip papers and coffee cups

Both real and crazy editions of the golf course are not in good condition. Doesnt stop it being a bit of fun though, footgolf is great!

We used to live in Chippenham and visited this tea room then. We went back recently and received a very warm welcome from the owners who really go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Excellent facilities in a unique setting. Very good prices and the pitch and put is great for kids, families, and everyone. Lovely tranquil setting in Monkton Park, it's worth the walk from the town centre to get there.

This is good old fashioned entertainment and the kids loved it. The tea room has a nice selection of cakes and refreshments - worth a visit!

If you love crazy golf or foot golf then you wont find anywhere local that's as cheap and quiet as Monkton Park. It's tucked away on the edge of the park so it is a little walk from the town centre but great value for money

Friendly staff, independent tea room, great coffee and better value than the big chain coffee shops in town. Crazy Golf for the little ones, Foot Golf and Pitch and Putt for the bigger ones. All round; a great morning out with the family! They even allow dogs (on leads) in the tea room which is ideal when walking the pup around Monkton Park.

Coffee and food excellent, very relaxed, even when my 3 children, one with adhd, was kicking off. They provide crazy golf which turned crazier with my children. Very polite and professional

Visited after a Sunday afternoon shopping -- lovely coffe and a cake, in a pleasant setting. Really good vfm - even though we visited on mid October we sat out on the covered balcony and watch a robin hop along nearby - delightful.

Este es un muy agradable y acogedor para preparar té/café. El personal es muy amable y está interesado en cunsomers. Sirven algunos de los mejores café que he tenido. Los pasteles y quebradiza son excelentes. Y puedes conseguir un juego de golf par tres o minigolf. Lugar muy tranquilo para pasar un par de horas.

Tras algún 'crazy golf' nos metimos en el 10 th hole, ya que habíamos oído que no pastel y gluten maravillosa ... Es pequeño y acogedor en aquí, pero la zanahoria tarta sin gluten era maravilloso. dijo que la agradable señora hizo un número de gluten tartas gratis así que tengo que volver y probar ... El pequeño un lugar precioso que puede llegar al centro de la ciudad por un bonito paseo cruzando el parque (fue un día!) soleado ... volveremos.
