Grest place to eat and the staff are friendly 😊. The food is lovely and I fo recommend this Restaurant.

Excellent restaurant and staff, and takeaways some of the best Indian food I've ever had. Are buffet Sunday, which was very good but not as good as the standard menu. Honey and coconut on the Peshwari naan was excellent.

The food at Temple is amazing. I regularly go to Temple and have never had a bad meal. Staff super friendly and good variety of dishes on the menu.

Woodford's best Indian restaurant. Over the last few years the food has continued to be excellent. The staff are always friendly and helpful and will guide you to a new dish you haven't tried if you ask. In my opinion the Lamb dishes never fail! Soft and tender. The wife's favourite is King prawn Shashlick which is always good. We always finish our meals despite ordering too much. Keep it up Temple.

Attendants move with grace and swiftness, attending to every need as though thou wert royalty at a banquet. Their smiles are as bright as morning light, their attentiveness a balm to weary hearts. Best Indian restaurant! Food was amazing - very tasty! Service was great - all the workers were so nice and attentive - they made us feel very welcome. I had some food leftover and they packed it up for me to take home. Everything was very clean, including the bathroom. They had authentic Indian music in the background which was so lovely and set the ambience. This was my second time here and will definitely be visiting again. Loved it.

Sunday buffet... absolutely amazing. Been here twice now and it hasn't disappointed me. To start poppadoms, then onion bhaji, chicken and lamb. Then 3 curry options and 2 veg dishes. Plus fresh naan. Arguably the best naan I have ever had. All of this and you can ask for extra. The staff are great too. Very attentive. Will be planning my next Sunday visit soon.

Very accommodating for my mother’s birthday. We were able to bring a birthday cake and she was given a complimentary aperitif to celebrate. Service was swift and the waiters very polite. The food was excellent.

This was the most majestic journey we have ever taken with Indian food. Besides the absolutely fantastical dishes, the service was exceptional, everyone welcomed us with a warm smile. The atmosphere was fancy. On top of this, the prices were really reasonable. Our son was in pain and they offered us some painkillers. Thank you so much, we had a wonderful time.

Good spacious restaurant with a good standard of decor service was very good. Food was nice iv has better curry’s have to say but also had a lot worse I’d give this place 7.5/10. I had a tandori mix grill and I was still hungry after very small prawn 2 very small pieces tikka the tandoori leg was hardly any meat on it and the sheek kebab tasted very average at £16.95 was not great. All the rest of the food was decent I would go back but definitely would not recommend there mix grill

It was a great experience. Very ambient restaurant. Exciting food with high quality presentation, service and inventiveness. They also have an extensive range of beverages. Considering the quality, the price is reasonable. Everything about this restaurant was great. The Restaurant was clean and in-line with Covid measures. The restaurant was very busy but the staff were very attentive. Overall, I loved the experience. I can’t wait to go back again.

We went to the buffet for a birthday celebration for a large group. The staff were super helpful, plenty of good food. Nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely have another celebration there.

Fairly standard. It was good on a Saturday, but not so good (disappointing) mid-week. Staff are mostly pleasant and the venue is OK, but it's a bit inconsistent. The Sheek Kebab my friend had mid week wasn't too great, and my veg Dansak was a bit of an overcooked spare veg stew - in contrast to one I'd had previously. OK, but hit or miss. Wine was good.

Have been to this restaurant twice and it hasn't disappointed so far. First time was A la carte last summer and second time yesterday with seven of us for Sunday Buffet. The experience was relaxed and welcoming. The food was delicious as the previous time and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The only downside was that number's were low and based on the service and location I don't know why? The place should be packed, but on the upside the fact it isn't was great for our group! But I highly recommend a visit as it's totally worth it!!!!

In a party of 4 whilst the others said they enjoyed their meal I wasn't quite so impressed with my meal, popudoms were returned as stale, this is usually the very first eating experience when eating at an Indian restaurant, so why take the risk of sending out stale popudoms! It just sets the scene for the whole eating experience! I had a veggie sizzler, apparently! It arrived in a bowl as do most dishes! and found it to be a bowl of mushed up veg with the odd firm piece. Also not hot as you'd expect being described as a sizzler dish! On a plus note the onion bajee were very good a little on the small size and only 3 in the portion! Aa for the staff they were friendly enough and welcoming. The seating area was ample so no complaints about the restaurant generally.

A lovely restaurant. Food delicious and we were amazed how cheap the final bill was. Attentive staff and Dubali (not sure of the spelling) was friendly and very funny. We were made to feel very welcome and looked after 👍

Food was alright if you like bad curry. One of the waiters were so rude. Their new extension is basically a green house and when I asked for a window to be opened the waiter acted as if I'd slapped his mother, telling me I'd be disturbing other customer. Needless to say we won't be returning.

Lovely Indian restaurant with friendly staff, and unlike most Indian restaurants (bar the Mohabir in South Woodford), does a great take away. 5/5 for warmth, atmos. and service.

Not your normal curry house review... We had Temple part-cater for our joint 60th house party. We had around 60 guests and wanted a mixture of pre-made sandwiches (which we bought elsewhere) and a range of starters from Temple plus about 20 nann breads. Their service, and the quality of their food, was exceptional. Our guests wafted the starter selection down in no time - coming back again and again. If you're having a party and you're scratching your head about what to do - give Temple a call. You won't be disappointed.

We came across this restaurant by chance and had one of the best Indian meals we have ever had. The staff were friendly and efficient. We both ordered from the Chefs specialities portion of the menu and the food was extremely flavoursome, there was a choice of unusual dishes as well the standard Indian choices, it was beautifully spiced and not over salted. The coconut rice was the best I had ever tasted. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.
