Been coming here for about 5 years now. The food is always really tasty, the customer service is outstanding. Totally recommend this place: great for kids too.

We enjoyed a lovely meal at Jaipur South Woodford last night. Local to us it was the perfect choice for a fri night with easy parking on the bridge/viaduct. A lovely menu of authentic Indian dishes, attentive service and warm decor. I'm a bit of a lightweight when it comes to anything too hot so we chose the bhaji's, samosa's, poppadoms, chicken pasanda, prawn Biryani with pilau rice & Naan. I like a sauce with my rice but the grilled & sizzling dishes were coming out for others smelling & looking delicious. Definitely one to return to

Ordered the prawns biriyani for my family and friends from Southwoodford for delivery and we had a big party last night.it was absolutely divine! The flavors were rich and aromatic, and the prawns were succulent and perfectly cooked 🍚. The biriyani was well-balanced, with just the right amount of spice. The delivery was prompt and the packaging was secure. Portion size was generous, and the price was very reasonable. Having had won 50% off food voucher, I took opportunity of visiting this local restaurant for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in as it's much bigger than I expected and of a modern decor. I ordered a mixed grill and my husband chose a lamb curry with pilau rice. The food smelt divine and arrived sizzling. I really liked the fact that the food wasn't hot as find it difficult to enjoy my food. Thank you. We hope to visit again.

I couldn’t believe what I experienced tonight and will never order from here again. I am a regular customer at this establishment and usually enjoy the food, the staff are usually friendly, my husband usually talks to them. Fast forward to today (shock isn’t the word). When the food arrived I opened the lamb Rogan, which was dry it looked as though it had been burnt or left out, leftovers or old food. I phoned to explain, I don’t usually complain, but the tub was also half filled. Never had this problem ever. I was shocked… On the other end of the line whoever answered the phone was VERY rude. I explained the situation and was told ‘ ring up next time and tell them, they will do something then’ ( WHAT) When I said I’d like it really sorted out today, regular customer and spend lots of money in this place, I was told outright ‘no’. Basically tough, so we have subsequently binned the Lamb Rogan. Once I got off the phone my fears were confirmed. The onion bajis were so hard, we couldn’t bite into them, again they were binned, yogurt sauce tasted of vinegar. After tonight I will be taking my business elsewhere , never experienced anything like it. Not sure what we did to deserve this treatment, it’s such a shame, we only ever got our takeaways from here! Once bitten, twice shy!

Amazing, amazing, amazing!!! I went here yesterday with the family for a celebratory meal. The food was divine as always, and the service was incredible. The staff are really helpful and accommodating, it’s a very nice environment to be in. You will not leave disappointed. Lastly, the prices are really good value for money, it’s not common to find a reasonable priced restaurant during these times however, Jaipur always supports it’s customers!

Very disappointed. We ordered butter chicken and it's cooked like a Korma?! Completely different curry and texture than butter chicken.

The tandoori items were severely undercooked. When the issue was raised, they said it's how they make it :/

The food was hot and delicious.The driver was polite and friendly. I was given alcohol beer drink for free which I didnt want as I dont drink alcohol. I would have liked for the delivery driver to inform me I was given a free alcohol drink in the bag as I didnt check the bag with the driver. I would have given the free drink back as I did not want alcohol drink so I will donate the drink to the food bank.

Not sure what went wrong this time but my regular chicken bhuna was swimming in grease - normally it's excellent so hopefully this will prove to be a one-off occurrence! The tandoori chicken was very good.

They used FAR TOO MUCH Oil just to cook Okra & Bengun curry, it was not necessary!!

THE BEST!! I have eaten at many Indian restaurants & feel everything is bland and generic until I came across Jaipur in South Woodford. From the moment you walk in, the interior is absolutely beautiful and modern and instantly feels like you’re in a fancy Central London Restaurant/Hotel. The service is incredible from the moment you walk in, the waiter took us to our seats and offered us the drinks menu to begin with. We ordered multiple items from the menu & there wasn’t a single thing I ate that I didn’t enjoy. The poppadoms were lovely served with mint sauce, mango chutney, red onions and mango pickle. The fish tikka was cooked perfectly and was bursting with flavour, I’d never tried tikka flavour with fish but this was recommended to us by the lovely owner & it did not disappoint! We also had a mixed grill which was full of flavour, the chicken was not dry how it usually tends to me. Everything was soft and packed with flavour. For mains, we had king prawn bhuna, a spicy chicken curry and a classic daal with plain rice, pilau rice and garlic naan. The spice levels in each dish were just right and the portion sizes were perfect for us! To finish off we had some mango lassi which was very sweet and tasty. Overall, a great experience and will definitely be coming back with my family next time. You won’t be disappointed!

A hidden gem in South Woodford. One of the best Indian restaurants I have ever been to. The service and interior is immaculate. To start off with the service is absolutely amazing. The owner and waiters go above and beyond. I cannot thank them enough. They are humble, sweet and take care of your ever need want. The food is delicious, tasty and fresh. The mixed grill is super tasty, my favourite was the chicken leg. The taste is perfect! The king prawns are out of the ordinary. That is what you call a king prawn! It was absolutely delicious!!! The nan, chicken, daal, fish and rice were super tasty! Everything was delicious and I can’t thank them enough for the lovely service and amazing food. The mango lassi was very tasty. Every detail was perfect. The wet wipes was even perfect, having the best warmth and a lovely mint to finish off. Thank you so much! I will definitely visit again with family and friends.

what a shame. nice tasting food, but hardly anything of it. like a child’s portion. there’s no value for money in this takeaway at all. the smallest takeaway i’ve ever received. minute portion of chicken tikka, 4 bits i counted. tiny amount of bombay potatoes. when i looked at the sizes of the trays i was shocked as they were so titchy. even the nan bread was tiny. the first time in my life that i’ve ever still been hungry after an indian meal. i thought i’d try it as my usual one wasn’t taking orders this evening. my usual one was too busy, i understand why now. as you get plenty , it’s filling . they even throw in a free popadom. won’t be returning here . really unfair. I was really disappointed. please don’t expect to be filled up if you order from here.😞

Food was not only late but cold and missing items

Ordered a balti chicken and got given lamb instead which was annoying. Otherwise tasted delicious! Tikka masala tasted too much like a Korma and lumpy sauce. Otherwise rest of food was okay but wouldn’t order again

The items I ordered from Jaipur were smelling and seemed stale and old. I had also raised a refund request but somehow, I have not received a confirmation email yet. It has been more than 24 hours and I am still unable to figure out how I can reach the concerned department. I have images of the food items. Kindly help initiate a refund. This episode has been really disappointing.

We were staying at the Prince Regent Hotel and looked for a good Indian Restaurant locally: The Jaipur was just across the road! We we felt very lucky indeed because the welcome was great, we were seated at the head table, the service was exemplary and very friendly, we also got great advice about the menu dishes. The food was excellent and we had a great time in a very pleasant and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Very tasty food as always at a competitive price. Shame the starter was cold despite the meal arriving a full 30 minutes before the forecast time - in this instance the early delivery was not a problem but it could easily have been. Still better early than late!

Did not receive main meal Paneer Tikka Masala. Called after an hour and was initially told we will get the paneer in an hour. After waiting a further hour, did not receive order and refund has not been given. Disappointed as I waited then wasn't able to have my dinner.

There's a lot of competition in the area for Indian, but Jaipur is always our go to. The traditional curries are fantastic, we always order the lamb madras which never disappoints. Order direct from them or their website rather than the apps, you'll get 20% off and the delivery service is often quicker/better.
