Noodles made with tikka sauce. Tasted absolutely disgusting. Asked politely to change the dish for something else but staff refused to change for anything else. Left the dish and drink on the counter. Absolutely disgusting service and food.

We ordered chicken tikka with egg noodles in schezwan sauce. They were horrible. I wanted to dine it but because the food was so bad we had to pack it and bin it. Wok noodles are suppose to be dry but these noodles were drenched in curry. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! TASTELESS FOOD!!!

Quite shocked by some of the rude and inconsiderate people on here. Food was really nice, had the noodles. Portion sizes were great. Staff seems very approachable. Only thing I would say is that my partner got madras sauce on his instead of the ordered masala. I mean he still enjoyed it and I must admit I had a laugh watching him eat something too spicy for him. Thank you, keep it up guys x

WW used to sell the pastry meat samosas and then the price was worth charging for 2 at £2.50. Unbenownst to me, they now sell the chinese pastry samosas for 2 at £2.50 (almost half the size) and barely with any filling. I struggled to find the meat in the meat samosas. The pastry was double (tightly wrapped) and some veg. Not worth it all. Sorry but the taste was poor and the size was too small. He gave me an extra samosas and he also thought they were small. All in all, I will never visit this place again.

The food here is great but the service is very slow! They are more worried about the online orders than the walk-in orders we had to call the staff a few times because he started to take our order and then walked off to do online orders. We couldn't have most of the veg because it was already gone for an online order that had come in while he was serving us so was not happy about that at all! It was only 6pm also and all the veg had gone. It needs to be better organized and they need to also focus on walk in customers to as we are all customers whether online or walkin we are still paying.

I’ve been going to this place for a few years and it is superb. They use good quality ingredients and care about the food they sell. Even though their costs have shot up with everything else mad going on in the economy, they have tried to protect customers from full price rises. Thoroughly recommend the egg noodles with black bean sauce and the sambal sauce. Definitely worth a try!

Food is made to order and have a variety to choose from. Food is always piping hot which is a bonus. Most of the staff are really friendly.

Ordered Egg fried rice with lamb and egg noodles with veg. Both were really bad. Egg fried rice tasted like biryani rice and the noodles were tasteless. Wouldn’t recommend it at all. Service was decent hence the 2 stars but the food is a big no no.

I don’t really leave reviews for place, but I feel I just have to for wok wala. The diverse menu makes it so I never get bored and always have something to look forward too. All the food is freshly made, high quality and generous portions. My personal favourites are their burgers which hard made and unique only to wok wala. There stir fry menu is also very creative and offers a wide range of flavours. The cleanliness of the store is also a big plus as well as the amazing customer service that offer.

Not many Chinese halal places around so we travel to eat in or pick up our orders. They have changed the box which is a shame for takeaway but the taste and service gives this place a solid 4 stars. Quality is good but portions are small. The chicken / lamb gourmet burger are very nice so make sure to try. Chilli chips very spicy and tasty. Price is good and you can see them making your food which is awesome. Overall a brilliant place so if you haven’t been, make sure you visit and support them.

The food in this place is too good! Stick hot wings & the burgers are bang on! The owner of this restaurant is so kind and also the rest of the staff are welcoming. Food comes quick served hot. During pandemic this place was our saviour!

Do not get the tandoori wings meal from this place. The food was nasty. It wasn’t fresh and felt like they gave me someone else’s wings. It was hard and in edible. Never coming here again!!!

I almost never leave a bad review on restaurants but this was probably the worst food I’ve had in my life by far! I just want to make sure people are very much aware of what they are walking into before they go here. If I could give less than one star I honestly would. I ordered prawn and my husband ordered chicken in his noodles. His dish smelt of fish so I assume they made it in the same pan which is disgusting to begin with. He ordered vindaloo sauce but it tasted like low grade ketchup. I ordered schezhuan but don’t know what the hell they gave me. And the smell- my god I thought I was going to vomit right then and there. My prawns were not even prawns, it was small shrimp and they were raw. It was honestly so terrible, I will never forget it and I would never recommend it to anyone. We let the person at the desk know and he was kind and apologized but when we asked if we could could change it for a different dish he said no and didn’t offer a refund either. For that reason I think I’m addition to bad quality food I would say they have bad quality customer service as well. The restaurant was completely empty at lunch time which should’ve been an indicator to me and a reason they give better service but they did not. Please save yourself and do not ever go to wok wala unless you want a very bad stomach ache!

We came to wok wala on a whim after visiting Ilford. The service was great and the food was also super tasty :) We should have got charged extra but they were nice enough to not add the extra £2 :) would recommend!!

I have been meaning to try Wok Wala Street Kitchen for years and finally did so this evening. I ordered the Soba Noodles Meal with ginger and spring onion, vegetable spring rolls and a Lamb Gourmet Burger with spicy chips for my husband. Unfortunately I did not like the noodles, they were saturated in the ginger and spring onion sauce which did not taste very nice. The vegetable spring rolls were tasty with the sweet chilli sauce and my husband enjoyed his burger and chips.

We ordered last night through Uber Eats and as soon as the food came I knew I wasn't going to be able to eat it as the smell just turned my stomach. I ordered Sweet and Sour with chicken and rice. My husband ordered noodles with Duck and we got ribs to share. Both our meals we overcooked and swimming in sauce. Mine had a particularly nasty texture of tiny bits of egg swimming around in something that more resembled a soup with basmati rice, it didn't taste ANYTHING like sweet and sour, it was utterly repulsive and I had to throw the entire contents of my box away. Despite having paid £9.99 for my rice I couldn't being myself to eat it. My husband didn't like his either but forced himself to eat it as he was upset at the waste of money. He said the noodles were also overcooked, tasted strange, were also swimming in sauce and the ribs which I couldn't even bring myself to try were "rubbery". Afterwards he said he didn't feel well and that his stomach was hurting and to be "greatful I hadn't eaten it". Please do yourselves a favor and buy elsewhere if you have never tried the food here as it is nothing like Chinese food, it just tastes like a car accident between a Chinese takeaway and an Indian takeaway where the Indian overpowered the Chinese food by 10 to 1. I can't describe it any better than that I'm afraid. Truly repulsive to me at least. A waste of 30 quid.

Egg fried rice?! More like soup fried egg.

Ordered egg fried rice with Thai green curry and chicken. Got back soggy rice with too much cabbage and absolutely no hint of any flavour. This place used to have great food, but this is very poor and I won't be back. Much better choice of food now available locally.

Amazing food. Really warm for a long time taste amazing just not spice enough but if you do go get the madras sauce with extra chili. Gave it a 4/5 as the recommended sauce was a 8/10.

I have been visiting Wokwala since it started I remember in 2013. Very good variety and a unique concept. Staff and owner are very polite. It can get pricey if you keep adding more veg and meat, but if you stick to the basics, it works out nicely. Thai Green and Schzewan are my favs, my wife loves Indonesian sambal and my best mate loves the lamb tikka biryani. Definitely a must try.

I really disliked my noodles sadly, the flavours were confusing the sauce c3 is tangy and nasty. Other items on menu maybe better.

The food here is authentic and cooked with heart will deffo come back 🙌🏾

The menu is simple and the options are limited and not overwhelming. The customer service was really good and the staff were welcoming and friendly. Really liked the customer service. The food didnt take much time to come and was piping hot. The portion was generous and I enjoyed my noodles.

I rarely post reviews but with this place I have to. Disgusting food. Overly saucy, can't even grab noodles with fork, very very tangy, I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. Barely any meat or chicken in the box. I don't no how they are lasting this long.

I don’t usually review on the first visit but I was really impressed this evening, the member of staff behind the counter was really friendly and helpful and my wife loved the paneer burger. She commented on the box it came in which opens up really nicely. Not seen that before. I see a lot of the lower starred reviews are more about the noodle type dishes, the Indian type food we had was really nice, chilli paneer was a decent dish.

My friend told me not to try this place but I thought let's try it but Sorry this was one of the worst food we ever had. Paid £33 with no drinks added. I had egg fried rice from MANY places but this was the worst I have ever had. Will recommend people to save your money.

Got the order wrong the last time but usually a nice place to eat

The service is really poor. Rice was full of oily n looked waterbased. I watched the guy as he chucked the ingredients in the pan n turned the gas off because he was doing something else in the kitchen and come back to put the cooker back on while all the meat was in oil cold. He took order and TOLD the mrs to choose the veg, not knowing they charge 50p per veg. Blimey which takeaway charges for veg. Ordered 2 lunch deal which is £6 but unfortunately my bill came up to more then £17. Rice was dipped in the wok for literally 43seconds. Rice was not cooked properly and was really oily. Never again going to that dirty place. The staff was slow and did not know what he was doing. AVOID

Staff was unprofessional and food is sloppy. Rice was not cooked properly and overcharged for my food. Portion is so so small. Looked like a kids meal. Place is not what it seems like. Stop hyping this place and do not order from their. Workers are rude. Staff leaves your raw cold food without cooking and comes back to deal with it later.

Over priced food. Prices change everyday. One day I got a meal that cost £7.30. Today the person behind the counter tried to put pressure on me to buy a drink. When I declined, he still tried to charge me £9.30. I even showed him my online banking to proof what I paid. He said you must of come early, I said no, it was around the same time, he said I dont know then. Please check what your paying for.

The food taste is far from below average and it did not taste Chinese at all. Prawn tempura was like the frozen tempura you can get at Tesco. Prawn toast did not taste good. Disappointed.

Ordered food via just eat, the driver took the time to drive past and put as delivered! When I call the restaurant they blamed the just eat drivers and asked me to call just eat as there drivers may have stolen the food! What A Joke!

Terrible food terrible experience long wait when we got our three boxes of noodles the meat was completely off had to throw it away when we got home you can smell the spoiled food . We have since have reported to the food and hygiene commission

Didn’t take much to tempt me back to this place while visiting my daughter in Seven Kings. I like being able to choose your ingredients from a wide range of veg, rice or noodles and tofu or paneer and then see it all stir fried in front of you. Just as good as I remember it

I’ve never been too fond of Chinese food, but this place made me think twice about it! It’s a fusion between Indian and Chinese food. The concept of the business is excellent, and the food is the type to blow your mind. I went with three mates and we all ordered something different. I tried about of all four meals and I was thrown back by my taste buds break dancing... on all four occasions! The visit is always a pleasant one if you end up satisfied by the meal!

Food was below average. Absolutely tasteless. Boiled noodles in a pot with flavourless sauce and meat. Horrible. You would expect them to at least use a wok.

A wonderful new addition to the many varieties of food available in the area. Very friendly and helpful staff - who always take time to explain the menu. I have eaten here a number of time and on every occasion the food has been SUPERB. I think these guys are making a great effort and I wish them every success. Best wishes.

Taste of the sauce was fine but it was all pasta with little veg and even less prawn. Sticky wings were so-so.

A bit pricey, however food is well cooked and tasty.

We had ordered for a delivery although we were out of their 'delivery zone'. We ordered an egg noodle + chicken and veg and a rice based + chicken dish both of which were lovely and yummy. We also ordered chicken satay as sides and spinach rolls - I think they proved and ensured that we will be a regular now - (we've been eating there 3-4 times in 6 weeks already.

There’s some noodle in my soup!! Their noodle dish was far to juicy, it was drowning in sauce. A little more and I would’ve had to swim my way out the there! Not tasty and wouldn’t go there again. Not worth the money!

I like Wok Wala because my daughters enjoyed meals, specially they appreciate chicken wings . Staff is so nice and gentle.

A massive disappointment from the moment I walked in. The menus were disgustingly grease and dirty. Should have walked out straight away but I'm too polite for my own good. They advertise their food is healthy but that's a total lie. Dined in and food came out grease in a box and side dish was deep fried, over cooked and unpresentable. Should have returned it, but again to nice for my own good lol. I wouldn't recommend to anyone not even my enemies lol not that I should have any lol.

First time ordering from there and the chicken chow mein gave me a upset stomach. The vegetable samosas weren't great. The pakoras were nice though which is why I gave more than one star rating.

Absolutely delicious food, as always. The noodles are piping hot with incredibly fresh ingredients, all prepared in front of your eyes in the wok. Usually get the egg noodles, with chicken/lamb tikka, Mangetout, Bamboo Shoots, Black Bean Sauce and Chilli Oil. Tastes amazing. I have also tried the Mongolian BBQ which is great. However, the Ho Fun is very thick/wide and breaks down very quickly into a mess. I would avoid this and stick to the Egg Noodles. Would also recommend the sticky wings, which has a sweet taste. Very rich and yummy, along with the prawn crackers. I have not tried the grilled options, but my wife did mention that their grilled chicken burger is nice. Cannot go wrong with this place. They have this family meal deal from Monday - Wednesday, which is a bargain. Worth a visit for sure. 9/10

Out of lack of choice reluctantly buy from wok wala maybe 6 months. Always disappointing. Don't know who they kidding with child portions more like baby size. Don't get that anywhere from kids menu. Really stingy with their ingredients. Veg is so cheap but they are very scarce with it and anything you add is 3 or 4 tiny pieces! Customer service is rubbish in person or the phone. Wont take any of your complaints seriously very defensive. Asians for you.

Loved the chilli fries and ribs, but didnt like the noodles ( maybe it's the favour I picked) I'll definitely try something else next time...
