Barkingside Kebabish in Redbridge

One of the best and tastiest Indian (Asian) food outlets. Dine in experience is just ok but the fresh kebabs on the plate is worth it, otherwise takeaway is always a hit. Be it biriyani or chicken/lamb dishes or haleem or naan/roti options, I love it. My go to place whenever I crave for Asian food.

We have ordered Nihari and choley during Ramadan and it was the most horrible experience. The Nehari was stale and had an awful odour. The lamb shank used had black marks which seemed like it was burned. The choley seemed like the serving of last serving from the pot. The chikkar choley had less coley and more gravy and was not nice. I can't believe that I paid £14.99 for the Nehari and £9.99 for the choley which was so bad. I don't mind the price if the food is good but what I have received was horrendous. I will never buy from them again.

The food is fresh and very good. This is much better than normal 'kebab' shops. I thought the food was better than I have had in 'proper' restaurants.

I was surprised how good the food was here. Really tasty and flavoursome, everything was very fresh and cooked to perfection.

Went to buy food for the family. Normally I would go to Kebabish Original in gants hill, bit decided to go here out of curiosity. I was nit disappointed at all. The taste difference between the two was night and day. I am definitely going to be a loyal customer here now. The food is great and the restaurant is very presentable and clean. I like my food and this food is great. Would recommend to anyone..

Tried almost many times the lamb & chicken seekh kebabs and they were Perfectly grilled & juicy. Also they do good kebab rolls with Naan breads. My favourite is Lamb Kahari with the bone ones. Very clean restaurant take away, kind staffs and pretty decent management. Definetly Recommended! Thanks John

Placed an order for delivery and was told it would take an hour but 2 hours later still no food!!! Was told we are busy even though we live 10 minutes away. Why were we not told this before?? The staff were so rude when we called to complain and when the driver did turn up more than 2 hours later we returned the food. Do not trust delivery time!!

The Kebab,Nehari and Haleem is very nice i highly recommend. The best Pakistani food in the area. They also have 5 star hygiene rating.

I ordered some food from this establishment and asked the manager for some advice as what will be best for a family with younger children. He informed me that he can make the chicken and lamb karahi mild to medium which was great. I also ordered grilled chicken which was really decent. Family all loved the food. This is the best Kebabish in East London and I’ve been to a few. Next time I might try their traditional dishes such as paya and nihari.

Very good food quality specially kulcha and daleem. Bbq best with quality taste best restaurant for asian halal food . Staff is very kind .keep it up guys . I advise to asian people's should be visit atleast one time trust me you will enjoy food.

I have been waiting a while for a good restaurant to open offering Pakistani Lahori cuisine and I recently heard of a new opening on Barkingside High Street. I bought two dishes Haleem and Nihari plus there dessert Kheer. It was delicious and felt like I was eating from the streets of Lahore itself. The restaurants hygiene was up to standard. Will definitely pay a visit again and would highly recommend to all.
