Unfortunately wasn’t very happy, with the last couple of visits we have visited breakfast is usually lovely, but the last couple of visits now and the sausages had no colour on the outside at all and when you cut into them, they were raw!.put us off our breakfasts! The staff member was polite and apologetic, not charging for the faulty food, unfortunately she said it was busy, this is no excuse, a separate person cooks the hot food the drinks and cakes are served by other staff, we were the only ones with a cooked breakfast, everyone else had cake and tea!. What a shame, as we use it quite often!.

Despite arriving way too early for our booked table for ten the staff reacted well and got everything ready promptly. All food was freshly prepared and obviously home cooked. Cheese scones were super and lashings of varied sandwiches plus great cakes. A great experience, thanks.

A nice little cafe, with indoor and outdoor tables. Staff offer table service and are polite and friendly. The menu choice is simple cafe food, sandwiches, jacket potatoes, salad etc. The cake are all homemade and delicious, which are recommended. Good priced and attached to a very good garden centre Toilets could do with attention though, there is only 2 unisex toilets and the one I used had a broken seat. There was a distinct “off” smell from the windows, as you walk past, which is not pleasant. I suppose they have no control over the user, but regular visits by staff would help....

Visited yesterday on what was a scorching hot day and was in desperate need of a cold drink and something light to eat. I ordered the Greek salad, a sparkling mineral water and a chocolate milkshake. My friend had the cheese and berry platter with water. The lady who served us was quite surly, not sure if this was her usual demeanor or maybe the heat of the day had gotten to her but nevertheless, it wasn't necessary. We asked for ice with the water to be told they didn't have any as there wasn't enough freezer space!!! Asked for a large chocolate milkshake to be told they only had enough for a small one. The food did take quite a while to come and I personally was disappointed with my salad....my plate consisted of a whole load of tomato, and cucumber and not much feta nor many olives and that was it. That is not a Greek salad! No onion, no oregano, nothing extra like pepper. For £6.50 it was measley. My friend said her platter was also very small for the price but hoorah for using the berries you grow in the nursery. So much potential here, it would be nice to rethink the portion sizes for the money you're asking and get some ice for cold drinks....perhaps invest in a small freezer just for ice. If I was reviewing the garden centre it would be 10/10 but sadly the tearoom didn't match the goods or customer service we received there.

e had a ploughman's lunch. Best I've ever had. Plenty of cheese and ham with red currants, gooseberries and walnuts. Lovely. Staff very pleasant and even though they were busy they had time for a few words to everyone.

Such a lovely place to pop in for a cuppa and a cake or something more substantial, friendly staff and very attentive service. The place is immaculate and there is a lovely choice on the menu for meals. You can buy the most delicious chocolate brownies to take away too or chutney made locally. The outside tables are sheltered if the weather is a bit lacklustre. It would be wonderful if there was some music playing softly. A huge improvement on the current offering at Waterside Garden Centre nearby and well worth driving out to Little Bytham for a mocha or cappuccino alone..

Called in at the garden center last Sunday after seeing the road side sign for the tea room. The wife went inside to order only to be sharply told we will come and take your order at your table outside. A number of the table had not been cleared one of the girls serving another table came outside we drinks and food a number of times but went back empty hand every. We sat at the table a good 20 minutes and no one came to the table was left.will not be going back.

Enjoyed a lovely lunch in a beautiful little cafe. They have a really good selection of salads which I find unusual these days. Would highly recommend.

I can't rate this lovely little cafe highly enough. I had a bacon, brie & chilli jam ciabatta which was absolutely delicious! This was followed by a very yummy slice of victoria sponge cake and all washed down with a very refreshing pot of tea. My sister is gluten & dairy intolerant but the very knowledge and friendly staff catered beautifully for her too. We will all be returning very soon indeed! 5* 😍

The tea house, a relatively new venture for the nursery is going from strength to strength. The selection of cake is to die for plus you get a nice cup of tea or coffee all at a reasonable price. They also do light lunches but I have not tried them.

This newly-opened tea-room run by a group of smiling, friendly ladies deserves to become a firm favourite with locals who will be able to find it easily and a happy discovery for those who have to hunt it down. Delicious home-made cakes await you as well as other tasty-sounding snacks which I will sample next time. We arrived two minutes before closing time, but our welcome was no less warm than it would have been at opening time.
