Chose this place due to ideal location. great friendly staff. Food is nothing special but cooked well. Rooms are clean and tidy nothing fancy but more than adequate. Good quality breakfast. Ideal place if going out on the town in tamworth

Last stayed here 3 years ago, an escape from the NEC but only 20-30 mins away.5 of us staying over on various days and all found the overall experience great..All rooms are clean, beds comfy and clean bathroom and shower. Some rooms a little economical with space but you still get the things you need for a good nights stay.After that evening meals are great quality, filling and more and incredible value. Breakfast again when based on the price of the B&B anyone who faults it is delusional! Enough choice, good quality, plenty of it.All staff service is exceptional, friendly efficient and welcoming.Not the Ritz, better than the budget chains -but it is the service, food and clean rooms for the price that should stand out to anyone.

No atmosphere at all and a very dull modern refurbishment. Poor drinks and choices. Edge of town with hotel above

This is a nice little quaint place to stay and very conveinient to stay ! iThe bedrooms are situated around a courtyard it was like a selfcontained flat our room had two single beds a double bed! They were really comfortable beds The breakfast was nice plety of choices and waitress sevice very accomodating and friendly! It was our first visit to Tamworth but if we come back to area would come back to stay here?!Thank you for the warm welcome

Really enjoyed staying overnight here at The Tamworth Arms, the room was comfy and cosy, the lunch here was amazing, staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful and the breakfast was very nice and I will be coming here again for my holidays :)

Could not sleep with spiders dancing on the ceiling all night had a shoe in my hand just in case they fell on us. Stains down the wall, conwebs and dirt everywhere, never again! Breakfast was nice though. Staff nice as well.

I booked this as a stopover on the way home from the Countryfile Live show in Oxford. I expected a basic bed for the night for the price (£54 on Booking.com)But this was really good. We arrived tired and hungry and expected to have to go somewhere else for food. But they were serving til 9, which was great. So we had proper beer, a good supper and a comfy room. Then a good breakfast to set us up. The staff were really lovely and friendly too.This is a great local pub that's looking after people who need a room and food as well. Of course it was noisy; but if you stay in a pub on a Saturday night, and can't cope, just bring earplugs!

Came here for my first holiday on 10th July 2018 , the room was lovely and cosy, the food was amazing and the staff were really nice and friendly, I will be coming here again 😀

We had a drink here while a football match was being shown - very noisy, but the locals were loving it. We sat outside, very pleasant.

called in as we were hungry, served promptly and food arrived quickly. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff, our second visit and not unhappy with our return a place to remember

Good food, great service and a nice atmosphere. My husband said it was one of the most tasty Yorkshires he had on a Sunday dinner out.

We came up a couple of months ago to visit Thomasland, and stayed at the Tamworth Arms what an amazing place to stay with our young grandson everything was brilliant from the outside courtyard family room to the cosy double in the pub itself it was very very good value, the staff and owner couldn't do enough for us which was so brilliant thank you al at the Tamworth Arms

A very friendly place with 21 rooms for accommodation.Had a lovely evening meal of homemade pie and mash potatoes.a very comfortable single room with plenty of tea and coffee makings.very reasonable priced.A very good breakfast of sereal followed by a full English with toast tea or coffee.

Even though we live locally this was the first time we've eaten here. We had a very friendly welcome. The food was tasty, hot, well presented and generous. Very well worth a visit.

Had Sunday lunch here, great value. Homemade, hot and very tasty. Service was first class. We were in a bit of a rush which they accommodated. Can't wait to go back!

Tuvimos una cena pub aquí anoche, tuve el bistec ciabatta con cebollas, champiñones y rizado patatas fritas. Me gustó mucho. Mi pareja Había chili con arroz, que a ella le encantó, pero no decir los nachos estaban un poco pasados. Muy buena comida de pub valor hecho bien con no mucho tiempo para esperar.

Bueno normal Restaurante beefeater vinculado a un pequeño Premier Inn. Cerca de todos los servicios y atracciones. tamworths Base dios por intereses locales y visitar el casco antiguo de mercado de Tamworth. Limpio y ordenado, con buen personal y precios razonables.

We stayed just the one night. Easy to find, free parking. Don't expect to be blown away by the rooms, it's budget accommodation, but it's clean and worth the money. Where it really excels is the meals. We generally scout the area for somewhere to eat. My tip would be don't bother to do that because the food at the Tamworth is as good as you'll get.

Stayed for 2 nights on business. First time I stayed here, and would definitely stay again. The food and service was as good as I have had at any other more expensive places. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. I was in a single room (8), which was ok for me, although the only down side was the small shower, and the water flow was slow in the shower, but apart from that, the room was very comfortable, TV, Tea and coffee facilities... And I slept very well. I found it very quiet. I liked going down in the bar, and they put on whatever I wanted to natch on the sky sports. Breakfast was full English and or continental / cereal. Good all round aaccomodation.

Rooms available here very nice staff and really nice food. Usual pub grub stuff but hey ho, if your stating here breakfast is great.

They do not serve food after 7-ish on a Sunday, unfortunately. Breakfast is OK. The rooms are fine, but it is a very difficult place to find - you have to ask for 'The Bottom House' There are no real ales - just keg and lager

Stayed for two nights. Breakfasts were excellent. We had a room in the main building so could hear the music from the pub at night. Didn't go on too late though so not a problem. The room was clean, although small. Struggled rather with the tiny bathroom but at the price acceptable.

Great little place to stay. We had a room the was separate from the hotel. So there was no need to walk through the hotel all the time. The room itself was lovely. really modern, presentation was perfect. The only bad points about the room were the light came straight through the glass panel at the top of the door and you could hear the people going home from the pub on a night. The breakfasts were nice, though the evening meals were a bit cheap and cheerful. would use it more as a bed and breakfast. There are some restaurants up the street. Overall a great find, would definitely stay again

We went as a family the service was very poor wasn't the cleanest place I have ever been and the meat was tough and hard veg we will never go again we used to go all the time the staff seem to have attitude problems.

Good food and outstanding value. Traditional English menu, great service. Breakfast lived up to expectations following previous evening meal.

Just to say, you get what you pay for. This establishment was in my opinion, the cheap and cheerful variety. No complaints

stayed in the family room with our grandchildren room was nice and clean only problem was the shower it had practically no power and so was very difficult to clean a child under it had our evening meal in the bar it was sat night so very busy but they put us in a corner away from it all,food was very nice and good value for money

A pub which is a popular place for lunch by the local workers. It might be described as an ordinary pub with a homely atmosphere. The food is well cooked and served on hot plates. The portions are extra large so don't eat before going. Today we were served at the table but usually orders are taken at the bar. The staff are very pleasant and efficient.
