The service was amazing I asked for a butter chicken and it was fab and a small sizzler which tasted so good cant wait until this indian cusine fully opens

Price has increased dramatically, no longer competitive. I order the same meal every time but every time I order it it's completely different in taste, texture and colour. It would be really nice to have some consistency as I do not like some of the versions. Narn bread awful! Has this restaurant changed ownership as the quality of the food as really gone down hill? As a regular customer for around 9 years unfortunately I will be ordering elsewhere from now on :-(.

Food was excellent, but delivery was about 45 mins late, & we were missing the salad that should have come with one of the dishes we orederd

Ordered food at 8pm, expected 9:20pm. Received 10:40pm. I called restaurant twice, 9:30pm told it'd be 15/20 mins and offered free bottle of wine which was nice although I'm 6 months pregnant so no good to me. 10pm food still not here so called again. Restaurant said driver had accident so would be 20 mins. 40 mins later food arrived and the driver looked gone out when we said we were told of accident and said there was NO ACCIDENT and place was just really busy so restaurant had lied to me! Food was great but 11pm is too late to really appreciate it so will not be ordering from there again.

We only received 4 prawns in the King Prawn Tandori and it cost £9.95. Please could you send me a refund

Food good but nothing special. Tandoori chicken starter very dry/overcooked. No salad garnish provided for starters. Plenty of meat in mains and nice thick sauce. All delivered hot and on time.

Food wasn't the usual standard. Dont knos if the chef has changed. No tomatoes in balti like usual and chicen tikka masala was a very deep red .will try again love tamarind.

Ordered meal came minus a pilau rice rang back and then took another 40 minutes for the rice to come by then the rest of the food was absolutely awful. Even after trying to keep warm in low heat oven. Rang and asked for some refund as paid online with card and they apparently didn't understand but continued to speak amongst themselves whilst on phone to me. Very rude, unhelpful and awful food

Food here is always delicious, and yet the customer service has been poor on a number of occasions. Tonight a naan was missed from the order, and after calling and asking for it to be sent this was refused and instead two free naans with our next order were offered. I asked for a refund and again this was refused. Not sure if I will order from here again just in case the free naans are forgotten too!!

No sauce with my partners chicken tikka which was the best part of £6. Paid £1 for a coke which has less in it than a can. Overall the meal was overpriced for what we received.

Turned up quickly, friendly driver, good food, nice and hot.

Food was pretty decent, full containers and value for money too. Just slightly lengthy delivery times but arrived nice and hot.

The takeaway took three hours to arrive compared to the time we were quoted when we ordered. It was a Saturday night and they said they were really busy and offered us a complimentary bottle of wine which kind of made up for it. It was a shame because the food was great and we'll definitely use again, just maybe not on a weekend! Or leave plenty of time!

The food was delivered in 1 hour and 50 mnts which is an absolute joke as funnily the estimated delivery time was 1 hour 30 mnts. When I enquired about the order the intelligent gentleman said that it is not a Mcdonald restaurant for the food to be delivered soon. They also forgot to tell me that we have to add salt to the food ourselves as there was no salt in the 2 dishes that we ordered. Food was OK as we didn't expect much as not many restaurants know how to cook authentic food.

Ordered at 6pm, we live 10 minutes drive from the restaurant on the same road, the driver couldn't find the address I called at 7.15 and was told the driver had left 30 mins ago. We finally got the food at 8.10pm after my husband had to stand outside in the rain looking for the driver. The food was cold, the lamb was fatty, the curries had no flavour and the poppadoms were greasy! I will not be ordering from there again

I used to regularly eat at the tamarind whilst I lived in Leicester a few years ago and thought it was great then. My girlfriend and I came back for Xmas and fancied an Indian and ordered it from here, I loved it and she said it's the best she has ever had. Cheap too! Keep it up guys

3rd Time ordering from The Tamarind, I just love it. It took me a while to find an authentic Indian take away that gave fresh full flavours to their food, I found this here! I would recommend this place to all of my friends (well the ones i havent already told) 5* Service everytime. One very full very happy customer!

So disappointed. I placed order at 7.35 it did not arrive until 9.20. This was a 40-60 min waiting time. The restaurant were not very helpful and told us they had it written down for 9.00 delivery and now the restaurant is busy that will be delayed by another 20 We asked to cancel they then said it was already made and packed...., hence delivery arrived at 9.20. The food was not great and the quantity of main dish of Paneer was very small. So disappointed.
