Expensive drinks and plastic in ice cream. I complained about the plastic in the ice cream and was told they would refund the cost of the dessert but needed another discount code. Fortunately I had one but over a week later still no refund. Customer service atrocious. Ironically I did receive an extra sourz with no explanation. When I enquired why I was asked why I'm telling them. I gave up at this point and left. Not bothered returning since. Fir someone who grew up in the area and attended school there it was very disappointing 😞

Wow, I have heard so much about this place and as ladies who lunch on a Tuesday we decided to give it a go. Fabulous service, great food and vitality important to our group, super understanding of a gluten intolerance to the point where a stray breadcrumb could put this young lady in hospital. A whole hearted thank you to the team, outstanding!

Came here to watch the football with a group of mates and we all had a lovely meal and a few drinks! No complaints at all staff were very friendly and food was lovely! Will be returning

The food took ages to come out. The steaks were awful and full of gristle, and it ended up coming home for the dog. The all day breakfast was ok but was only warm and not hot. The lasagne was delicious but not hot, with some wilted brown lettuce amongst the salad. Very disappointed as previously have enjoyed it here. When complained about the steaks that weren’t eaten we weee offered a feee drink, so the staff did try to apologise. We were nearly ready to leave so didn’t accept the drink.

What great hospitality and unbelievable value for many! Sian and her team made us so welcome and nothing was too much trouble, a regular venue that my friends and I will continue to visit. Thank you!!!

Great find in crownhill, service is great. Didn’t have time for food but it looked lovely, will definitely be back to give it a try.

We weren’t sure what the tamar would be like to eat at because it’s usually quite loud and busy and we thought it may be a bit like a cheaper union rooms HOWEVER the food was insane!!!! Really amazing value for money and actually a really really strong meal! We were both very pleasantly surprised. Shout out to the lady server with the coloured hair (I think it was purple) who was literally everything. Someone in her position should take note of how she deals with customers because she does it perfectly. I was so impressed with your service so thank you so much for making our visit so pleasant. We would definitely visit again and would recommend people do the same. Really great atmosphere, amazing food and really great value for money

Very friendly staff and management they have just added new items to there menu. The all day breakfast is totally amazing on there 2 pub classic section on the menu never being dissatisfied with there food Excellent all round family friendly and dog friendly pub

Nice to watch the football with friends however, what is NOT nice is receiving a £100 fine for parking in the car park. It is not signposted clearly anywhere that you need to enter your registration at the bar, nor were we told this when we ordered food or drinks. Very disappointing as we enjoy this pub for a get together.

Green king really need to spend some money on this place and should be ashamed. The tiles are cracked in the floor on entry really dangerous. The Capet and chairs are stained and are filthy and the toilets well done not get me started these are horrific. Environmental health should be called to have a look. I’ll not be back until a refurbished is complete.

This pub cannot be faulted. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. Free car parking onsite but please remember to enter your vehicle registration. The time taken from ordering to eating is short, even when the pub is very busy. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. We’ve eaten here every Monday/Tuesday and Wednesday for the last 4 weeks and enjoyed every meal.

Was visiting the area yesterday and decided to have the Cajun spiced chicken meal. The meal was great, just the right amount of spice, and the chicken was succulent and tasty. Didn't have to wait long and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend

We had called up for a reservation for three adults and six children on a busy Sunday afternoon. Sian was a great help by fitting us in last minute so we have to thank her very much for doing that. Adults had steaks which was cooked perfectly and the kids had burgers and nuggets, which they all loved and enjoyed. What a great family place with lots of space and a pool area for the kids to play. We ordered everything through the table app which made things easier for us to order for the children and less headache for the waiters. Food arrived looking and tasting great while children was excited. Six. Stars out of five.

Always welcoming, great value for money. We regularly visit for the Monday night Quiz, the live music, or other events. The team have worked really hard to bring a family feel and the menu is varied with great deals. You really cannot go wrong.

Where can I start, what a fabulous place to go to. Myself, my hubby. Daughter & son-in-law go to the pub Quiz night. The Manager Rachel is so friendly and bubbly. And makes everyone so welcome. We have a meal there, and it’s sooo tasty, my favourite is their Steak & onions mmmmm. All the staff are just like Rachel really great. She’s obviously a great manager, as it shows in all the staff. Go give it a try you’ll be glad you did. 👍🏻

Me and my mates went to this place for food and drinks food was spot on I was really pleased that they asked if any allergies in the group as some places don't ask and my mate does so well done,after food we had a few games of pool and drinks,the bar staff was spot on we had Rachel who served us a lot and couldn't fault them helpful always smiling and interacted with conversations with us all in all great place
