As regular customers we have always felt a warm friendly welcome. However on this particular day we came as usual for social drinks with my both . BOTH with learning disabilities. A new member of staff behind the bar approached us and told us to turn our phones down as we we were sharing and watching a funny video to ourselves. Not a busy afternoon... she abruptly came over and said "can you turn that down we can hear it near the front".. quite contradicting as there is music playing and people cackling and laughing near the bar anyway ?! Rude. Pure rude. Maybe staff training is needed for people with learning disabilities/ autism.

If yourever in this area the Swan us a must, the food was delicious and reasonably priced, staff really friendly but not over the top, toilets are immaculate, in fact overall it is excellent if I'm back in the area I will be back.

Lovely food prepared quickly. Pleasant service from staff. Happy to recommend to anyone.

Didn't eat so can't comment. This is the " go to " place when in kidderminster, we travel on a narrowboat. Great service lovely people and very friendly.

Great place on a Saturday night until 9.00pm when it gets very loud. Good real ale

First time visit to the Swan. Three ladies for lunch. Staff were friendly and very welcoming. We quickly settled in and felt comfortable. I had the pie 🥧 OMG it truly was delicious 😋 We will definitely return when next in Kidderminster Would recommend you give it a try you won't be disappointed

Laura has done a tremendous job at the Swan, great host and staff, always made welcome, beer excellent, good friendly atmosphere, good food and nothing is to much trouble for them, also congratulations on another award you certainly have earned it and deserve it. See you all soon, Franny McCormack

The food is always good that's why we come back to you but today my dad and brother had the faggett and chips what they had before but today they said there was no tast to them the first time they had them they were nice but not today

Had another breakfast at the Swan pub in Kidderminster. Wow what can I say. Fresh hot very tasty and an excellent price. Can’t fault it one bit. Probably one of the best breakfasts going. Thanks the Swan.

New menu for us today jacket potato and chilli with a huge salad also chips egg bacon sausage and hash brown for my friend. Really very nice and tasty . Well done the swan x

Visited on a Saturday night the staff were too busy talking to each other to serve. When I finally got a drink the glass was dirty so I left.

Go every week for food as it is so good and staff very welcome new people to the pub

Thank you today for looking after us with sandwiches and chips , after it had been decided to close the kitchen due to away supporters taking over the pub which the Swan wasn't aware it was a designated away supporters pub .surely harriers and the police should get this sorted . But thank you once again we were able to have some lunch we had bought a bootle of wine so needed food

I would like to convey our thanks to Duwi, Laura (front of house staff) and the chef (Pete) I believe, and any staff behind the scenes. We are completely impressed with their attentive professionalism and customer service. This cozy pub/restaurant in the town centre of Kidderminster has left the best impressions, hospitable hosts, delicious pub food dishes combined with beautiful presentation, good beer and wine selection. I recommend to everyone! We like to come back here again and again, usually on Thursday’s. This is our absolute favorite pub in Kidderminster, the food is always fantastic and no matter what we order we are always delighted with our meals! The staff work as a team and always efficient, happy and polite and this makes a super nice atmosphere, all at an affordable price. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat. We are so fortunate to have this place just a few minutes drive away from home, wine great and lovely selection of beers. Love this place and will continue to visit. Can totally recommend it to people out shopping and want a nice drink and meal. Saying thank you seems somewhat insufficient so I’ll stick to these two words, "First class". Regards Mandy & Keith x

I come here all the time, I got told today I wasn't allowed in because my shorts are branded by the doorman. This place is a pub, a FREE HOUSE...... who cares if I finish work then go for a pint in my companies clothing. Apparently its company policy and I have to wear what they want me too. Never ever am I taking my family or friends for food to this place let alone hold my company do here ever again. I liked the place too but one thing ruins it and my relationship with this place is done. It's a shame because my friends and family are going to by-pass this place now and go to the viaduct including my parents who ate there every Wednesday and Saturday.

We asked locally if anyone knew a good place for a pub grub lunch. We were directed to The Swan but the person who directed us to the Swan couldn’t comment on the food. Hush! Keep it like that or we might not get a table. It was wonderful. Some dishes were finished, we were late, and I understand why they had sold out: food was beautiful and service perfect. Thank you so much, it made our day.

Needs to be a cake and beer pub tbh and have a bigger set up outside maybe hire something off the market guy's for one night of the week or summit and put on a ticket only entry to see a comedian or bacon grill lol I like bacon

Friendly helpful staff. Lovely breakfast and good quality for how cheap it was . Very tasty. Nice lady behind the bar let me use the plug to blend the meal for the person I support. Pleasantly surprised.

Been there several times for drinks and food the welcoming you get from the very friendly bar staff is first class and the food is exceptional.

Staff were friendly and it had a good atmosphere. Ate burger and chips which I liked a lot.

Saturday evening, great music and great atmosphere. Drinks were reasonably priced and good choice of cocktails. Thumbs up and highly recommended

Been to this establishment with my partner and friends a few times, The welcome you receive when you first go in is first class and the food is exquisite, my partner and I cannot rate this enough. The staff are extremely welcoming and polite and the sharing nachos are to die for! I personally had the burger and my partner had the hunters chicken as well and they was beautiful. Thank you to everyone concerned.

Lovely pub with a relaxed atmosphere, great decor of old photos and memorabilia. Menu had something for everyone and good prices. We ordered the carved ham,tomato and pickle sandwich with gourmet chips and the hot wings sharer,it was scrummy. Staff were friendly,pleasant and helpful and very diligent with their work. My kind of pub,definitely recommended and will be returning soon.😋🍺💯👍👩‍🍳🍽

This is a great pub in the town centre, that cooks homemade food. We had their faggots, chips & peas, lovely generous portion, friendly staff, lovely ambience. Highly recommended, we would definatly return when visiting Kiddi again 😀

Lovely breakfast, friendly staff.

We had a lovely friendly welcome from the young man serving. We chose off the Tuesday two for one menu. I had vegetarian pie. Chips .peas and gravy. Husband chose beef and ale pie .chips.peas and gravy and you honestly couldn't fault any part of it. Cooked to perfection. All of the above only £9.99. definitely be back. Chef very nice man too. Thank you.

Went for breakfast. Very friendly staff, comfortable seats and reasonable prices. The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. From me the hallmark of a good breakfast is the sausage. It was high quality.

Lovely staff ... Very considerate of gluten free vegan needs. Chef made a lovely salad for me as he thought I couldn't eat the chips because they are fried in a fryer in which they fry gluten containing products. Very impressive consideration for his diner.

Always OK. Cheap and cheerful. Decent food and drink. Better than wetherspoons.

Living in Dorset but discovered The Swan whilst visiting family in Kidderminster. What a fabulous little pub!! warm atmosphere, good food at fantastic prices bur more importantly.. lovely staff, nothing too much trouble, polite friendly and above all efficient!! One of our party has gluten intolerance but no problem at staff, checked ingredients and suggested alternatives. Will certainly visit again and recommend.

Visited this pub Saturday whilst shopping as we used to on many occasions before coronovirus hit and was not so impressed, it has been taken over so beer not so good (all marston's beers) and smaller food menu. Food was ok but the pub seems to have lost a lot of its old regulars, nowhere near as busy as it used to be.

Utterly lovely, clean and super food, smashing staff friendly and welcoming. One ladies toilet needs a lock, but I'd visit again any time. Sitting outside in evening it was delightful too see bats flying about 🙂🦇

Lovely town centre pub serving decent food. I had a sandwich with crunchy hot chips. Husband had the nachos which was tasty but an enormous portion. Enough for 3! Excellent service from waitress, really friendly and helpful.

Called in for lunch. Took a while to get served as bar staff talking to customers. Got our drinks and was looking at menu. Customers talking loudly and swearing not told off by staff. Quickly finished drink and went elsewhere. Not recommended. Staff definitely in need of training.

Great place through summer with front in the sun and central to town

Had a lovely lunch here on a very wet miserable day. The food was very good especially the ploughmans. Jake who served us was excellent. Friendly, knowledgeable and professional. A real credit to the pub.

For a public house that had to close due to poor revenue, it seems counter intuitive to reject 3 lads that have been drinking in the establishment for 12/13 years based on footwear. People in the pub were in trainers and sandals, but that was not an issue for the door staff, just that further trainers were not allowed. Just think a general rethink on attire at certain times when capacity is low, should be looked at...

If I could write worse I would. My mate wore Nike Air zooms (£120) and he wasn't allowed in. My other mate wore clarks best (£30) and the absolute pleb outside wouldn't let him in. Clearly dodgy. Don't go.

Great food selection of ales friendly staff. Ideal for family meals or great if you just want a drink. A big thumbs up.

It was cold and wet and we had 45 minutes till the wedding at the town hall, we decided to grab a drink at the Swan, the welcome was outstanding, and the drinks were very reasonable and much enjoyed at our table, where we were warm and cosy. We didn't have any food, but the meals which came out looked good.
