We didnt actually visit the pub, it was a 50th party held in the grounds. Plenty of outside space for the youngsters to play, also dogs allowed - on leads - . There is also a camping site .

A good old fashioned boozer! The locally brewed strawberry cider is an absolute must. I could've necked that all day long. The food here is very good too. I had a tuna melt and my other half had a prawn cocktail. Both dishes were superb. I'd have no hesitation in going back to try more food.

Met family members at the swan Inn as it was halfway for us all to travel. Picked the pub from Google maps, reviews and menu. We struck lucky, lovely little village pub with a great menu and attentive welcoming staff....Oh and the food was delicious!!! Wouldn't hesitate to visit again, thank you! Chris

Never had a bad meal in 6 years. Good food at very reasonable price. Decent human beings, spotless kitchens, . Of you want seared pigeon breast in a jous then go somewhere else...if you want a steak and kidney pie or decent fish and chips...this is the place..We love it here. Ian and Sharon

Brilliant pub! Friendly, welcoming, picturesque with the bowling on the green next to it. The food is superb, with good portions and well priced, and the pints are the crispest going. Service is always friendly, as are the other guests. Pool and darts as expected for the proper country pub that it is!

Good food, & run by people who always make you feel welcome. We hadn't been for over two and a half years, due to covid, unfortunately, but last night we were made just as welcome as if we were regulars. We will be making more effort to visit here, more regularly, in future, BTW, the meal was really good too, thanks. 🤓

Went here for a Sunday roast on Easter day. They were very busy with a tractor rally as well but the staff were very quick and efficient at serving customers and queuing time minimal. Food was delicious and home cooked - big portions too ! A lovely old fashioned pub where everyone is friendly and made a fuss of the dog too. Highly recommended! We will be back - plenty of parking at the back

Proper old style pub, arrived for our 7 o'clock table booking & served promptly with a smile, the landlady said unfortunately the staff were off with covid & other things so please bear with her..well to be honest the service was better than most pubs with 10 staff !! Great service, great food, good beer & well worthwhile visiting..& a pool table & dart board...what else do you need, excellent.

Visiting the area and stopped for lunch. I must say the food was lovely best broccoli potato bake I have had , varied menu and a good vegetarian choice. The staff are lovely I would highly recommend this pub

Friendly welcome, good service, hearty food, reasonable prices. Fantastic place for roasts and the normal menu looked decent as well. It’s not a gastro pub it’s a traditional pub that’s very enjoyable

The Lasagne was fantastic- as goo as I have ever had. My wife loved her Ciabatta. Lovely friendly traditional pub and exceptional value for money. Having moved to a nearby village we will visit regularly.

Visited on the 9th of August. We rung in advance to ask if they could cater for 15 and sure enough they could. Other establishments however couldn't or even wouldn't. Staff extremely friendly, food excellent and definitely great value. Thanks again for letting us visit and eat. 5*s.

Looking for a home cooked Sunday roast we called in & the ladies could not do enough to accommodate us , very friendly , great service & a wonderful roast dinner very fairly priced . The dessert menu was a great selection of homemade sponges , puddings & sundaes Everyone said how nice it had been & how we’d definitely be back !! . Well done & thank you for the warm welcome .

Booked up for lunch on a Tuesday, arrived to a warm welcome from all the staff. We were given a choice of three different areas to eat - outside, bar or dining room. Orders were taken promptly and the food was lovely. Garlic mushrooms followed by Chicken Korma with sides for me; same starter for my husband and then Lasagne for him. Clean plates all round! Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely traditional village pub in pretty setting.

Due to health conditions my wife and I are shielded. The Swan has delivered several Sunday lunches and deserts now, and all have been hot and delicious. They are far better than in the photo. Don't try the sticky toffee pudding if you have little self control, it is just to die for and my wife confirms the chocolate brownie is just as good. Thank you for such delightful food during these trying times. I would just like to add that the quality of the food is constant. Some of the places we have eaten have served a really nice meal but when we have gone back the quality of the food has been very poor. We are so please to have found somewhere where the food is great every time.

Here's a country pub making the best of lockdown with lovely food and well kept ale served cheerfully at the al fresco tables. Well worth a visit (40 minutes drive for me)

We were staying at Garboldisham but the community pub there was not open during the week so my wife found The Swan Inn in Coney Weston. We ate there 3 days running then on the Thursday when we again went into lock down we were able to get take away food there.Its a lovely little pub (doggie friendly too) and the staff there were very friendly & attentive. The food was excellent throughout - good honest pub fayre with a good amount of dishes to choose from.Good selection of ales - IPA, Doombar, Directors etc.We definitely recommend The Swan Inn & when we return we will be eating there again for sure.

Nice friendly old-fashioned pub. Tasty food and v friendly atmosphere with locals chatting at the bar and nice beers. We had a scampi & chips and a veggie pie with chops & veg. Both v tasty.

I was hooked on the ocean basket which had a good range of fish food - beaded torpedo prawns, scampi and tempura prawns were my favourite! The fish and chips was huge so would recommend that too. Overall a nice pub with the food being above par and value for money- would recommend

We visited The Swann whilst away on holiday at nearby Forest Holidays. We wanted somewhere that would accommodate 12 of us plus two dogs for a Sunday lunch to celebrate my mum’s 80th birthday. The pub is a traditional British pub. We were set up in the bay window and they even decorated the area with banners and balloons. The food was a good, home cooked Sunday Roast. The staff and the locals were really friendly and welcoming. We couldn’t fault the pub or it’s staff. If ever we are in the area again, we will definitely be returning for lunch. Thank you all for a lovely experience.

The staff are very friendly and the beer is well kept. The only negative is the lack of a vegan option on the menu. The pub could do with a little updating but it doesn't detract from the great location and it was a well deserved pit stop after a long walk around Knettishall.

Having passed by the Swan on a few occasions, we stopped by for Sunday lunch, and although it was a very quiet day, we received a very nice greeting and the offer to eat.The Sunday roast was served in no time at all, and did not disappoint.We were looked after throughout by a very friendly lady, who ensured that we were happy with our meal.When it came to paying we felt we had received great value for money.This was our first visit and certainly won’t be our last

Great pub in a rural village. Really good service and landlady very nice. We drank lime and sodas so can't comment on the beers, but we did eat, one of the few pubs locally that serve food on a Monday and it was lovely. I had surf and turf and my sister had haddock and chips and we ate outside both of us enjoyed the food which was piping hot with nice crispy chips and we had dessert of apple and Caramel crumble with ice cream. Yummy 😋. Food very reasonably priced too mains from about £7-£14 ish desserts £3.95. "I'll be back". 😊😊😊

What a great little boozer, we were camping nearby and the weather was awful so we called and the accommodated 15 of us for dinner. The staff and locals were very welcoming and friendly, the food was excellent and all freshly cooked, hot and served at the same time. The drinks were cheap with a wide selection of beer, lager, ales etc. Would highly recommend this local pub.

What a lovely quaint old pub with nice food and very friendly staff. I was part of a group of around 20 who pre booked. We were looked after very well and the food was very good value. Beer was nice too!

A lovely warm atmosphere. Owners and bar lady was very welcoming. Nice choice of foods on the menu and the food was lovely when it arrived. Not overly expensive either which is always a bonus, especially when there are 5 of you and the kids have hollow legs (although there were 6 of us on this occasion). Overall lovely, i would definitely go again!!!

At first you might be a little put off by the slightly tired looking pub but once inside the warm welcome will win you over. Lovely polite service on the separate occasions we went in. The food menu is not gourmet pub grub so don't expect anything fancy. What you do get is honest food served hot and at a price that won't put you in the poor house. Clean plates all round from the family, no complaints. Well done.

Walking round Knettishall Heath made us very hungry .. the Swan Inn at Coney Weston was showing as the closest foodie place so we headed straight there! Warm welcome from friendly ladies was a good start. Menu gave plenty of choices at very reasonable prices. The 4 of us had a variety- gammon, scampi, satay skewers and sweet chilli chicken salad - all the food was hot and tasty. Plates were all completely cleared.Desserts were again excellent value for money and incredibly yummy!Definitely need a return visit soon!!!!

A warm welcome awaited us by friendly and attentive staff. My teriyaki noodles were delicious, as was the wine! Very reasonably priced too! Would definitely recommend.

Another fantastic meal on a Monday after a hectic weekend. Phil really knows how to cook a steak!!!!! Welcome was warm, locals are fab. Just a really enjoyable place to go.

This was our third visit to the Swan Inn and we were just as delighted as we had been previously. Phil and Betty the proprietors gave us a warm welcome, and immediately made our friends and their dog very welcome.

It was a lovely location. Rather small pub compared with some I have seen. But it was great all the same.
