In the past 3 months I've had take-out from The Sushi Bar 4 or 5 times; usually once a week when I'm working in the area. The place is very clean, you can see the kitchen and the food being prepared fresh from the restaurant. My food has been ready within a few minutes of ordering and I enjoy the sushi rolls, though I tried the Katsu Curry Chicken this week and that was nice also. Even though I've not dined-in the restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the staff are really friendly recognising me on my return so I feel like a regular after just half a dozen visits.

1. Ordered prawn katsu curry was just over £8. Not good value for money. 2. Tiny portion of prawns and veg. 3. 1x whole piece of cauliflower was cold rest of the veg warm. And sauce was like paste not tasty. 4. Have had better microwave katsu curries for <£3 with better presentation. 5. Staff were polite, good vibe and nice background music. 6. Great for quick meals after a late night out and nothing else open. Healthier option than other fast takeaway places. Clean.

Went to this place two times in a row and it was extraordinary the meat was juicy and tender and the vegetables were crisp and fresh. The only downside was that my holiday had ended and i couldn’t go another time. Customer service was also always on top

A bundle of joy in the heart of east london is The Sushi Bar, Bricklane. A must have is the Korean Bao Bun, My favourite! The so soft and fluffy Bao comforting the beautiful flavoursome Korean chicken for us to tuck into is a real treat. If you love sushi rice you have to get Donburi, I personally had the beef garlic teriyaki and it did not disappoint. LOVE. I also tried the Korean wings which has the same sauce as the one in the Bao that I tried, Yummy japanese fries, Crunchy chicken roll, Lime & mint Mojito and not to forget the MOCHI. A little round parcel of ice cream wrapped in chewy rice dough ! Absolutely luscious. My dining experience was lovely and especially thanks to the two beautiful and caring girls who who served us, even the chef was so friendly and accommodating ! Making sure customers are happy :) I would recommend this place to family and friends and all.

Great little hole in the wall place! Incredible service and the sushi was delicious! My wife devoured the chicken Bao and while I didn’t expect the prawn nigiri to be fried, it only added to the flavor. Salmon nigiri tasted fresh and as good as any I have had before. Take a chance here!

Disappointing - waste of money. Expensive and such small portions. None of the food tasted like Japanese or Korean it all tasted bengali. Won’t return - we only tried it because it’s on our doorstep and halal.

Portion sizes where very small for the price. Flavour was okay. The chicken wings tasted good, but we only got four small wings. Just spent £27:00 and we’re still very hungry

Went here with a sushi craving, the menu is pretty limited. I got salmon sashimi and some nigiri and miso soup, portions were pretty small, quality was decent not amazing. Service tho was great, the guys working were super friendly and prompt. I suppose the fact this is a halal place makes it a draw for many, but was so so for me.

The best and only place for halal sushi, and my main reason for trusting this place is because they actually prepare the food right in front of you there and then. They’re very hygienic, keep everything clean and their food is very tasty. They make it in front of you there and then, their service is prompt, their selection is fast and their food is very tasty. Cannot recommend them enough.

Enjoyed sushi bar bricklane two days in a row! Simply because the food was amazing. Ordered few items including dynomite roll and chicken bao bun. They tasted amazing. The bun was really soft and crunchy chicken on the inside. I would recommend mend this new restaurant. Amazing food and excellent service!

I am a novice when it comes to this type of cuisine. I went by chef's recomendations, was very surprised at how flavoursome the food was. They do more than Sushi here. If like me you are unsure, just ask the chef, you won't be disappointed.

This restaurant might be hidden away in Band of Burgers but it’s one of those hidden gems (literally). Food was great, presentation looks good and customer service on point. Probably the best Sushi place in East London

Brilliant food and at a reasonable price. They are busy so you might have to wait a bit longer than the 20 min. Take away only. If only they delivered as parking is a nightmare

Good food and friendly staff, choice for being a veggie a bit limited, but good find when we were feeling hungry

Prices are very reasonable. With less salt requested, they can cook foods with little salt. Fried Shirmp E noodles is excellent. Quantity of shrimps was very generous. Fried bean spouts and fried vege are normal. With No broccoli in the mixed vege was disappointed. Plain omelette with fries is ok. Massive hand made spring rolls were given as free. Very nice but salty, but with lots of bean spouts inside, we know that they have to do like this. If not, it will be stinky very soon. Si Chuan Chicken was totally different from then original one. Maybe because the boss come from southern part of China instead of the south west. He was so nice and introduced the attractions in Glastonbury. He do speak Cantonese too.
