Service was extremely slow, it wasn’t very busy either, half the drinks were kept elsewhere! The noise level was unbearable, music on high volume, so customers had to shout and screech to make themselves heard, and no soft furnishings to deaden the sound. It was a relief to leave.

Good range of beers, good atmosphere and a decent inexpensive pub grub menu. The live music events are popular and well attended. Only drawback is that when crowded, the bottleneck at the bar makes it really difficult to get to and from the toilet area. Staff are friendly, efficient and helpful.

I would never have guessed this pub is part of the Stonegate empire. It really does have the feel of a cosy local where the staff were engaging and helpful and the food was good VFM pub food. Not a gastropub but definitely fit for purpose. We'll be back.

Used this venue many times as it’s near my home, but never been in since the revamp. They’ve done a real good job with the revamp. The staff are great, really friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Visited during the restaurant week offer and food was excellent. Good selection of beers and wines ranging from the usual to more premium options. Wife was equally happy with her meal too. Well impressed and looking forward to the Christmas menu.

Lovely food overall ! asked for salmon without coriander said they couldn’t do this which is fine. Then added the salmon and the chicken to the bill even though we did not have the salmon. Lady that took the order was lovely not offered deserts just handed the bill after main and told it was bar service. Booked table for 7.30 just quite poor service for the price
