Service was extremely slow, it wasn’t very busy either, half the drinks were kept elsewhere! The noise level was unbearable, music on high volume, so customers had to shout and screech to make themselves heard, and no soft furnishings to deaden the sound. It was a relief to leave.

Good range of beers, good atmosphere and a decent inexpensive pub grub menu. The live music events are popular and well attended. Only drawback is that when crowded, the bottleneck at the bar makes it really difficult to get to and from the toilet area. Staff are friendly, efficient and helpful.

Visited for lunch had the chicken parmo which was a joke for the price of 16.50 I think it was a bought in escalope it was that thin it was like it had been run over by a steam roller. My friend had the chicken tika wrap which was acceptable but not worth the price of 13.50 for a wrap with a few french fries. I would not return

Do not visit this place for food or coffee through the day time. Inexperienced and rude staff clearly out of their depth when the small pub is full. Empty plates scattered everywhere, sticky tables, cold coffee, long wait times for food. Nicer places in yarm to visit. You'll pay a bit more but will have a much better experience. Avoid.
