Service was extremely slow, it wasn’t very busy either, half the drinks were kept elsewhere! The noise level was unbearable, music on high volume, so customers had to shout and screech to make themselves heard, and no soft furnishings to deaden the sound. It was a relief to leave.

Good range of beers, good atmosphere and a decent inexpensive pub grub menu. The live music events are popular and well attended. Only drawback is that when crowded, the bottleneck at the bar makes it really difficult to get to and from the toilet area. Staff are friendly, efficient and helpful.

Large pub with some outdoor seating. Good sunday, roast menu plus other pub favourites. Choice of small, regular, and large roast dinners - prices to match. Meals are substantial with plenty of vegetables. Prices are reasonable across the menu. Good range of beers. Service good. TVs for sport at one end of lounge.

Service was great, food was fantastic. I had the roast beef Sunday roast. Plenty of vegetables, roast vegetables, roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese was beautiful. Also pudding was sticky toffee pudding ( with dates). Just lovely. Not the cheapest place. But there again I’d rather pay a bit more and guarantee a good meal.
