Sorry that I can’t leave a zero revue. Booked a table last night for 10 people. Received confirmation of the booking. Arrived to be told that the booking couldn’t be used as the pub had changed hands and the booking system was no longer being used. Ridiculous way to be carrying on. Don’t rely on a booking you have made. Definitely will not be back.

Well thank you for taking our booking and ruining our pre Christmas night out….arrived as a family and told NO chef the ONWER hasn’t turned up for work as NO dinner for us before pantomime so hope your business goes as well as you did our our one night out together..folks stay away…

Went in yesterday 11th of November for lunch the boy serving told us there was a few things on the menu thay he never had so orderd other stuff that thay did have for the guy to come back and say he never had that either absolutely shocking for a place to sell lunch and not have half the stuff on the menu first time trying the place and it definitely will be the last

50% of menu not available. Ordered chicken curry and was brought to me with what could only be described as a drizzle of curry sauce with the staff member saying we are waiting on more curry coming so I did my best. Shouldnt you have told me that before you brought me it. Will not be returning! Dont waste your money.

Order the kebab option on the menu it was an experiece of presentation. Service is quick and atmophere is good (its busy but in a good way) the steelworks bar and grill: where the beers cold and foods hot; it far surpasses the old jack daniels bar where the beer was hot and the food was cold 😉😆 Little update: steelworks is now under new management making something that was good before even better as the steelworks is now open 7days! Slight rearrangement of the layout and more space to play pool. The best bit is they have now opened up the beergarden and you have various options to sit in the sun and enjoy your beer or sit in the shade and enjoy a breeze with your pint while watching the game.

Food was excellent, service too, lots of wee annoying fruit flies buzzing about which was very annoying but can't be helped I guess but would recommend regardless. Staff friendly and attentive.

Food was very good and reasonably priced compared to some similar places nearby. Staff were friendly too. It was pretty quiet but overall a nice place.

Food and service were great! I had the steak pie, good portion size. I've marked down atmosphere as we were the only diners there when we arrived so it was very quiet. Decor is lovely

Our celebration of my stepdaughter graduation was OK. Food was nice but service could've been better as it was the day before they handed the keys to new owners.

Not great, more children than adult, parents appear either unable to control the noise from their offspring or couldn't give a monkeys funky about their impact on others. Parents, here's a bit of advice, no-one but you is here to listen to your noisy sprogs. The old adage children should be seen and not heard applies, if you can't shut them up, keep them at home. We had to move table due to this as the staff were not inclined to have a work instead playing on their phones. I've been in a calmer crèche. Place couldn't be described as clean, even the cutlery was filthy (see images). Menus dirty and ripped (have images). Food was below average and far better can be found locally.

I ordered on the just eat website, but will be ordering direct now. I've only ever made two orders from here, both being the sirloin steak, as i don't like any of the sauces that Came with it they changed for me, i also don't like fries so they changed them to the most tasty sweet potato fries (when i called them straight after ordering online. Everything was cooked to perfection. I couldn't fault the place or the meal. They were all very accommodating. The delivery driver too. And many compliments to the chef of course.

Ordered x3 steak pies, only sent 2 portions of chips, I called the restaurant and the girl sent another portion out with a separate portion of chicken strips for the mistake. The steak pie was delicious I highly recommend.

I had a couple of pints in here after the Motherwell v St Mirren game. It was fairly quiet. We sat outside in the beer garden. A good selection of beers, the Peroni was excellent and very reasonably priced.

Visited from out of town as was in Motherwell for the football and wow, absolutely incredible food, thinking of reasons to visit Motherwell again just to go back to this place a total 10 out of 10

we came here for Mother's day and was put off with the 40 minute wait for our meal, the steaks came out and was just fat, the staff weren't the friendliness , this has put me off coming here for food or even drinks

Come here ever Saturday for dinner the food it's delicious the staff are great especially Steven my Husband had steakpie for dinner I had steak as always great value .for money. Also finished off with dessert Apple pie for Danny and cheesecake with ice cream .

Fab food, fab service, fab atmosphere. Just brill. Been here a few times for lunch and a couple of drinks and never disappoints. Haggis Bon Bon’s for starters are the best ever tasted. Would definitely recommend and will be back

Food was excellent, and good value for money, atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, the waitress was helpful and informative, nothing was to much trouble for her, my friend ordered from the wrong menu but the kitchen cooked the dish without an issue.

We had our wedding reception here on 10th February 2024 and it was outstanding from start to finish. Every member of staff worked their socks off and it was plain to see....we've been told by many it was the best wedding they had been to. Thanks so much to all of the staff. I would also like to point out that we got our deposit back no problem at all as I've seen previous reviews where this was an issue, so essentially if you have over 50 guests as agreed when booking and you don't destroy the place there really is no issue.

Food is really good here and is made fresh. They offer a variety of menu items from starters, mains and desserts which are suited to all. Staff are extremely friendly and are on hand to assist when you need them and will have a chat to you when you wait for food. They also have a good selection of alcoholic drinks in the dining area as well as the bar next door. They also host a range of events with different nights out with live music. The night we went the food was really good and was worth the wait. All of our party enjoyed it and I’d recommend it to others.

Been here a few times now, never been disappointed with the food or service. My wife had the steak pie and I had the roast beef Sunday roast and both were delicious. Had a Biscoff Sundae after and was lovely also. Will definitely be back.

Excellent food, fab service and lovely staff. We visit here regularly for dinner and every time we have a fabulous choice on the menu and everything tastes delicious. We have a selection of red and white wine which is always lovely. Staff are very helpful and good service, everything is cooked fresh.

What has happened to this place? Always go in before Kilmarnock games at Fir Park but the last two times have been a mess. One time you can understand but twice in a row? This time the Tennents wasn't pouring properly and was dribbling out. Pints took a few minutes to pour each and were flat and tasted horrible. Ordered a rum and pineapple juice and the pineapple juice was off. Literally made me almost sick. Bar staff were rude and when I complained about the drink rolled his eyes. Last time they get my business I'm afraid.

First visit with my partner, we were looking forward to going and having a late lunch. We were really disappointed, the food whilst edible was not great. The waitress who served us seemed not to have had any customer service training. She was swearing whilst speaking with us.. Fuxx this and that.. hardly the image I would expect the owners would want. We are easy going and like a bit of banter, however, this was not what we expected or wanted indeed. We had high hopes for this place. I would give it a body swerve. Might be ok on a weekend night out, but still no excuse for a member of staff to be swearing when serving you. Needless to say, we most definitely will not be back and would never ever recommend this place in any way.

First visit here, and we will be back. Service was great and very friendly. Food arrived quickly, nicely presented and hot. Decor was modern and relaxing.

£60 pp for Crimbo dinner with an added £7.50 pp service charge (imposed tip which should be earned not demanded) prawn cocktail served with green salad which was overpowering what little prawns were there, soup served cold to my partner, dinner was a near empty plate of extremely salty beef (felt like I should be an IV drip afterwards), a solid Yorkshire pudding with a comical sprout or 4, roast potatoes that were ok but again not enough and could be more crispy cutlery not changed and had to be requested for each stage of meal, overpriced garbage and will not be back, pudding was ok (edit for pub reply) I’m not the complaining type, I shouldn’t need to ask for anything, I’m one of a party of roughly 16 and we all had a gripe one way or another, I’ll state again, well over priced, unorganised and certainly won’t be back, I felt like my trousers should be pulled up on the way out. It’s clear that cutting corners paired with greed got in the way of customer satisfaction

The full dinners were cold was late and driver. Couldn't find my address I'm not one for complaining

Got a chicken katsu curry with rice, and sweet potato fries. I am absolutely fuming... first the quantity of rice in a small plastic round container was a joke and not only that the rice is dated the 15th December and today is the 17th December. The amount of sweet potato fries was a joke too. The only thing decent was the butterflied chicken breast in panko. £3.95 for a literal handful of fries is taking it too far. JE staff agreed and helped me out with a refund. Never using this place again.

Food was good but order was delayed twice. Also £2 for a can that isn't even cold isn't really acceptable, it's winter, leave them outside?

Got Prawn Cocktail shy of 6 quid, and katsu curry loaded fries for 5 and a half quid. Now my definition of loaded fries is fries with bacon pieces, maybe some other stuff smothered in a sauce. What I got was a metal container of thin fries with some being undercooked and still semi hard with a dribble of sauce, that isn't loaded fries guys. And the prawn cocktail for the price I paid was way way too small a portion, one slice of tomato, some lettuce, slice of lemon and a handful of prawns in a sauce in a small plastic container for 6 quid nearly is not good at all. 15.25 with delivery for something that I could have got for half that walking into a small cafe somewhere isn't good at all.

Steak pie with no puff pastry? After waiting over 30 mins longer than we were supposed to. Disappointed guys

Food was excellent and serving staff were very helpful. Unfortunately the priority was the deliveries going to homes and not the paying customers within the restaurant. Waited around an hour for our main course to come to the table and when I complained about the service I was given excuses about the Just Eat deliveries. Manager was very unhelpful and extremely rude.

We had loaded chips with steak pie gravy, as it was recommended to us. It looked great, with lovely tender pieces of steak in the gravy. The quality was good, but unfortunately it was spoiled a bit, as it was extremely salty.

Food was absolutely amazing ordered steak pie and was given a tub of stew in gravy which was lovely but no puff pastry or veg which was disappointing. So basically had stew and chips. But overall the Mac cheese and stew were beautiful. But would have loved some puff pastry and veg and it would have been outstanding.

Wouldn’t let me put longer than 60 mins. Food is outstanding, staff amazing when I called regarding delivery time. They are getting own delivery drivers due to just eat delivery drivers delivery time terrible. Food was of top quality, delivered warm, prepared well and tasted amazing. Can’t wait till the restaurant gets delivery drivers sorted so we can order again. Beautiful meal was steak pie.

Provided a photobooth for a function here and must say it was the perfect venue to celebrate a 40th birthday party in. Staff were both friendly and accommodating and there was plenty of space for guests to enjoy themselves and enjoy the booth. Sampled some of the buffet and that was nice too and all cooked in house. Hi - most of the order was wrong. Didn’t get any sticky sweet chilli chicken, I asked for chicken balmoral and you gave us hunters chicken instead, didn’t give us peppered sauce, none of the drinks arrived (ordered 3 cans of juice, and curry was spilt all over everywhere. Absolute disgrace and I expect full refund . Thanks

Fish was dry and chicken was dry and wee bit pink in middle . The steak sub was amazing chips where good and coleslaw was good 💪

Macaroni nice but would be nicer with melted cheese on top rather than grated uncooked cheese . Will definitely order again .

Second time ordering food was great, arrived really warm even all the way to cambuslang, Sunday dinner was great and pakora. My only feedback I would give is on a previous order I got chips and traditionally pub chips are those great homemade thick cut chips and was just a little disappointed it was skinny chips but that’s all. Would highly recommend

Got a delivery, no salad with the panini, cheese not melted and a very strong orange cheese at that, white onion and tomato chopped to big, overall very disappointed and wouldnt order again

I thought the food tasted nice but the batter was soggy on the fish and the onion rings were undercooked a bit. I enjoyed it despite this and I don't usually eat this type of food because I find it disgusting so A MASSIVE POSITIVE IN MY BOOK! No idea where this place is but dining in I am sure would be a nice meal.

I ordered the chicken goujon wrap, it was packed full and absolutely delish. I ordered a side of sweet potato fries which were tasty although the takeaway carton had made the fries slightly but edible, this is just feedback and I bet they fries would suit a version of salt and spicy, just a thought. This week is a just eat week for me to ease challenges and 100% the food was piping hot the way it should be. Delish food and a well deserved 10 out of 10 👏
