we came here for Mother's day and was put off with the 40 minute wait for our meal, the steaks came out and was just fat, the staff weren't the friendliness , this has put me off coming here for food or even drinks

Fab food, fab service, fab atmosphere. Just brill. Been here a few times for lunch and a couple of drinks and never disappoints. Haggis Bon Bon’s for starters are the best ever tasted. Would definitely recommend and will be back

Come here ever Saturday for dinner the food it's delicious the staff are great especially Steven my Husband had steakpie for dinner I had steak as always great value .for money. Also finished off with dessert Apple pie for Danny and cheesecake with ice cream .

Food was excellent, and good value for money, atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, the waitress was helpful and informative, nothing was to much trouble for her, my friend ordered from the wrong menu but the kitchen cooked the dish without an issue.

Good priced food. Very friendly staff. Lovely function room. Also nice e outdoor area for summer, ordered the burger which was tasty and drinks reasonably priced.

We had our wedding reception here on 10th February 2024 and it was outstanding from start to finish. Every member of staff worked their socks off and it was plain to see....we've been told by many it was the best wedding they had been to. Thanks so much to all of the staff. I would also like to point out that we got our deposit back no problem at all as I've seen previous reviews where this was an issue, so essentially if you have over 50 guests as agreed when booking and you don't destroy the place there really is no issue.

Food is really good here and is made fresh. They offer a variety of menu items from starters, mains and desserts which are suited to all. Staff are extremely friendly and are on hand to assist when you need them and will have a chat to you when you wait for food. They also have a good selection of alcoholic drinks in the dining area as well as the bar next door. They also host a range of events with different nights out with live music. The night we went the food was really good and was worth the wait. All of our party enjoyed it and I’d recommend it to others.

Been here a few times now, never been disappointed with the food or service. My wife had the steak pie and I had the roast beef Sunday roast and both were delicious. Had a Biscoff Sundae after and was lovely also. Will definitely be back.

What has happened to this place? Always go in before Kilmarnock games at Fir Park but the last two times have been a mess. One time you can understand but twice in a row? This time the Tennents wasn't pouring properly and was dribbling out. Pints took a few minutes to pour each and were flat and tasted horrible. Ordered a rum and pineapple juice and the pineapple juice was off. Literally made me almost sick. Bar staff were rude and when I complained about the drink rolled his eyes. Last time they get my business I'm afraid.

Excellent food, fab service and lovely staff. We visit here regularly for dinner and every time we have a fabulous choice on the menu and everything tastes delicious. We have a selection of red and white wine which is always lovely. Staff are very helpful and good service, everything is cooked fresh.

First visit with my partner, we were looking forward to going and having a late lunch. We were really disappointed, the food whilst edible was not great. The waitress who served us seemed not to have had any customer service training. She was swearing whilst speaking with us.. Fuxx this and that.. hardly the image I would expect the owners would want. We are easy going and like a bit of banter, however, this was not what we expected or wanted indeed. We had high hopes for this place. I would give it a body swerve. Might be ok on a weekend night out, but still no excuse for a member of staff to be swearing when serving you. Needless to say, we most definitely will not be back and would never ever recommend this place in any way.

First visit here, and we will be back. Service was great and very friendly. Food arrived quickly, nicely presented and hot. Decor was modern and relaxing.

Order the kebab option on the menu it was an experiece of presentation. Service is quick and atmophere is good (its busy but in a good way) the steelworks bar and grill: where the beers cold and foods hot; it far surpasses the old jack daniels bar where the beer was hot and the food was cold 😉😆

£60 pp for Crimbo dinner with an added £7.50 pp service charge (imposed tip which should be earned not demanded) prawn cocktail served with green salad which was overpowering what little prawns were there, soup served cold to my partner, dinner was a near empty plate of extremely salty beef (felt like I should be an IV drip afterwards), a solid Yorkshire pudding with a comical sprout or 4, roast potatoes that were ok but again not enough and could be more crispy cutlery not changed and had to be requested for each stage of meal, overpriced garbage and will not be back, pudding was ok (edit for pub reply) I’m not the complaining type, I shouldn’t need to ask for anything, I’m one of a party of roughly 16 and we all had a gripe one way or another, I’ll state again, well over priced, unorganised and certainly won’t be back, I felt like my trousers should be pulled up on the way out. It’s clear that cutting corners paired with greed got in the way of customer satisfaction

Food was excellent and serving staff were very helpful. Unfortunately the priority was the deliveries going to homes and not the paying customers within the restaurant. Waited around an hour for our main course to come to the table and when I complained about the service I was given excuses about the Just Eat deliveries. Manager was very unhelpful and extremely rude.

Great food, friendly staff, would definitely return. Parking isn’t great but not a deal breaker.

Provided a photobooth for a function here and must say it was the perfect venue to celebrate a 40th birthday party in. Staff were both friendly and accommodating and there was plenty of space for guests to enjoy themselves and enjoy the booth. Sampled some of the buffet and that was nice too and all cooked in house. I was in the steelworks bar and grill for my first visit had a lunch and it was great and nice and friendly staff top class i think there will be more visits in the future from me

Got a delivery, no salad with the panini, cheese not melted and a very strong orange cheese at that, white onion and tomato chopped to big, overall very disappointed and wouldnt order again

In for a 60th party. Service was terrible - with only 1 bartender all night, who clearly had no clue what he was doing. Felt sorry for him. Next door there was a 30th, again only 1 person hiring drinks. And a woman who was only interested in cleaning glasses. The DJ The as either stoned or out her face on drugs. The buffet was decent thankfully. Shocking organisation of staff for 2 events on the one night. Very very poor, and a waste of money if you ask me.

I was at my friends 60th tonight. Very disappointed at the bar service. Clearly it was a new guy on the bar. He was so under pressure with the party as he had no idea what he was doing and was soooooo slow. Queue was so long. 😤 As if that wasn’t bad enough the DJ was stoned. She couldn’t understand anything we were asking and was very rude to us. Highly disappointed. Thankfully food was great.

Visited today before the match. It was an excellent experience, great food (Balmoral Chicken recommended) Bar staff friendly and helpful, good atmosphere and service too. Really impressed.

My wife and I took my 90 year old dad for Sunday lunch last Sunday. The fellas who served us absolutely flawless, the food was great and I can't state how good the service was. Looking forward to going back. If anywhere that can silence a 90 year old from complaining, it's well worth the visit.😉.

The best meal I have had in Motherwell in 20 years! The Cola is a little pricey at £2.90 for a glass bottle but other than that, this is by far the best pub in Motherwell and definitely in the top 3 in the whole of Lanarkshire. An absolute must try! Very stylish, light and airy atmosphere, some of the booths even have a TV! Do not go to Wetherspoon's or any other pub in the local area for food. This place will definitely make you feel like your in a far more upmarket establishment. Very pleasent and happy staff, lots of room to move around, smoking/vaping area outdoors. If I could give it more stars I would. My new local. Thank you to the lovely staff for a great lunch.

Got the passive/aggressive " Can ah help you ?" practically shouted at me across the bar as soon as I walked in the door .Rudest barman I have encountered in many a moon .Won't be back .

Background music is far too loud. I had to move from the main area to the slightly smaller one only to find the same loud music. Music is nice but should be BACKGROUND (quiet) music. I had a drink and left ASAP

3 of us had a lovely 2 course meal here on Friday 21st April. The food was delicious and the service from Baz and his lovely staff was fantastic going above and beyond for us all. Compliments to the chef as the food was cooked to perfection and presentation was brilliant x Great handy place to eat before the show in Motherwell theatre x Delighted all round..we'll be back and that's a great recommendation for others to enjoy too x

Food was great but the padded cushions on the chairs are filthy place could be doing with a good clean staff was very nice out the back at the grassy area is littered with bottles and rubbish not very tourist attraction they need to report to cleansing department for a clean up

Was disappointed tonight. As soon as we came in we could tell the staff were run off their feet which is fine obviously but the man in the blue shirt was nothing but hostile. I tried to let him know we were early for our table but he didn’t seem interested. As I was going to say we don’t mind going back out to the car to wait. We were shown our seats and ordered food which was again, fine. I ordered my main, which was a burger and asked for no mayonnaise and noticed you could add cheese for £1. Seeing as I’m not a fan of cheese I didn’t say anything - thinking that would mean I wouldn’t want any seeing as you have to pay more to get it. My main came over and there was cheese. I got the man’s attention and said I never asked for cheese, his only response was “did you not want cheese?” I said no sorry and he grabbed the plate of my table and went back to the kitchen. He came back over and told me it would be a 15 minute way which is absolutely fine. He brought my plate back over and practically tossed the plate back at me. The food was lovely but it was a shame to be ruined by the man in the blue shirt. We won’t be back unfortunately.

Came here for Mothers day the whole day was lovely the menu was so good also, staff were so helpful. Would certainly recommend the sharing platters and also had the sweet chilli chicken, the desserts were all delish also.

Was here for a party, never again will I be here as a guest or as a host for a function, they had no draught beer/lager, not much cocktails, if the men wanted a beer they had to go into the bar and buy one...

Bit young for me, full of rowdy 20 year olds, staff were helpful, no trouble but toilets were filthy, no loo roll and very noisy.

We arrived on a Saturday evening, for a couple of drinks and a meal. On arrival, we stood and waited to be seated, staff were walking around and past us on several occasions without acknowledging us. After 5 minutes someone said can I help and...

What a wonderful wee place ivisited it today with friends, the waiter was amazing made us laugh with his banter, very helpful too, nothing was too much trouble, lovely young man, the food was delish and very reasonable compliments to the chef 👨‍🍳 hope to visit again in the near future, yup top notch 😀

Attended a birthday party here and it's a nice place but both ladies and gents toilets are too small to suit the venue.

The food here is definitely worth 5 stars we all had starters, hubby said haggis bon bons were amazing,we all had main meals, so tasty. My son had steak, cooked the way he asked for it, the staff are so friendly & attentive, beautiful decor & comfortable seating, good prices, will definitely be back.

This place is full of drunk under agers, sick all over the place and drinks spilt all over the floor what a dump.

Excellent value for money, good selection of food on menu, drinks are very reasonably priced with staff friendly and efficient. Would recommend.
