The most disappointing lunch I have ever had - thick dark dry bread for sandwich - never returning

Hired the hall out for the night, member of staff was rude all night with serving drinks and being very rude to family members to the point of telling them to leave, wanted to be involved but was very rude and no one wanted the attention

Fabulous food and great service when accommodating a large party with all different dietary requests. Great value and highly recommended!

Sat in the pantry now as it looked an inviting place for a coffee. A lovely lady has served me a wonderful cappuccino 😁 I am not from Upminster but would recommend it to locals and passers by. Food looks very good too 😁☕️

We had a delicious brunch here yesterday. Lavender latte and sriracha eggs were delicious. They had a kids menu and the staff were very friendly towards my 20 month old. Will definitely be coming back.

Chantel and the team were absolutely fantastic for a private hire in September 2023. Everyone commented on how friendly the staff were, the fantastic food and great location near to Upminster station. We have separately visited for breakfast and the food has been amazing - we cannot wait to return.

We threw a private engagement party at The Station Pantry and it could not have been better. All the staff were super attentive no one had to wait for drinks, and everything was so stress free. The food was delicious (we had SO many compliments from guests). Such a local gem. Thanks again to the team.

It was recommended by a friend and as we were passing along the M25 and 5 mins away that week we popped in. I chose the omelette absolutely gorgeous my wife had the French toast all very scrummy. Well done.

Been here twice now and without a doubt it has to be the best cafe in Upminster! Both times I have struggled to choose what to have on the menu as everything looks so tasty, so far I have tried the loaded chips and the loaded potato skins (both amazing!)I have taken my little girl with me on each occasion (2 years old) and the staff here are so friendly they interact with her and make her feel comfortable. Definitely recommend!

Becoming a regular favourite for breakfast/brunch. The set breakfast TSP Breakfast is very good. Large and well cooked, decent quality sausage and the eggs cooked soft. Coffee very drinkable and staff friendly. The owner is visible and in control on the floor. Nice local place.

Hired for my sisters 30th party and what an amazing venue, exactly what we were looking for. Close to the station, great staff and reasonably priced drinks. Communication has been great throughout the planning of the night and the team could not have been more helpful and patient, even when trying to get the last of the party to leave at the end of the night 😂 Thank you so much!

Ok so not the best experience for first time visitors to here. We went in and were seated quickly and staff were friendly. But after that it all went wrong for us. It started with no menu and we having to ask how we order and see the menu. We ordered our food, then 30min later after everyone else had been served even people who came later then us. We asked the waitress where our food was. She had said she had forgotten to place it and asked again what we want. I was really annoyed. She apologized and said we will be next. Another 15min later after 3 other people had recieved their food we finally got ours. When it arrived, it Was abit lack lustered, messy. the big great let down dish I had by far was the French toast. Was just really bad. See the picture of the dish. Little effort in presentation.

Came here for lunch again today, had coffee and a baguette each. My partner had the pulled pork and cheese, which was amazing, and I had the Feta avocado, caramelised onion and tomato with the jerk chicken, which was a little disappointing... I was expecting more than a tiny smear of avo, but maybe if I hadn't had the extra chicken the rest would have been more generous. Would still definitely recommend and come back again, it's a wide menu, good service and sensible prices 👍

Amazing place for serving a good breakfast. The food was great and the staff is super friendly, always checked on us if we needed anything. Great experience and we ll definetly be back.

Wow, what a perfect venue and brilliant team. This is my second visit to The Station Pantry and both times it’s been for an evening celebration. Highly recommend private hire for any type of celebration as lots of different options available. Food is fantastic and so much to choose from, drinks are great and reasonably priced. However, best thing has to be the staff who are so friendly and accommodating. Huge thank you to Chantel and for hosting a brilliant night…again!

Lovely staff, very clean and a fabulous cup of tea! Eggs bendict was also very good and although they were busy there wasn't a long wait.

Delicious breakfast, welcoming staff and love the new outdoor courtyard seating area. Felt very safe taking into account the new way of eating out. The whole menu looks brilliant, will be returning. Take away also available which includes delivery options too.

Today we had a breakfast delivery for four of us. I had the halloumi and mushroom burger with chips which was really good. Lots of halloumi and mushrooms in a brioche bun and lovely chips. Very tasty. My wife had cheese omelette and chips and she thoroughly enjoyed that too. We would all recommend The Station Pantry

This was my first visit here. This place is lovely, a relaxed atmosphere and very friendly staff. Restaurant was very clean and light. Food was brilliant and not overpriced, menu choices were good with lots to choice from. I will definitely be back for another visit

Had a fantastic time in a large group of friends for a Christmas dinner.five courses and was all brought out perfectly so no one was waiting. Drinks were good with cocktails two for one. Then a DJ to finish the night. Will consider next years get together there again.

Such a surprise. Service was very friendly, a bit overpriced but as I was not too hungry ordering a beef BBQ sandwich was more than enough since it bring some salad. It was very tasty i recommend it.

My wifes and i and my two daughters went here on Sunday 28th July for a private function. Its the first time we'd been and cannot wait to re-visit again.The staff were very friendly and helpful, the drinks nice and cold & the food was very well presented and very enjoyable.I tried the Whitstable Bay lager and was very impressed, very refreshing and has a slightly fruity flavour, perfect for a summers day. There was some picky food laid out which consisted of cheese, ham, nuts, bread sticks, gherkins, various dips etc all very tasty.The premises is very clean and modern and we found it a pleasure to be in for the 3 hours we were there - A massive pat on the back and thumbs up to the staff working between 3pm - 6pm Sunday 28th July, your customer service was excellent!

This place is not wheelchair friendly at all so sat outside while husband went in to buy two coffees. This was Tuesday 16th July a blazing hot day yet no parasols for the tables outside. They lose custom because being unable to go in the shop in my wheelchair I had to sit outside and would have ordered some food except for the fact I could not wait to drink my coffee and go due to the heat. Hence would not wait in that heat for food to come out, Their tables have centre holes for parasols and they are cheap enough to buy. Hence will avoid in future if the weather warm.

Came here on "fish Friday" and had the fish and chips. Lovely lightly cooked cod in a tempura-like batter which was without any skin. This is wonderful, it is the first time outside of Scotland that I have found somewhere that has the sense to remove the skin before frying it. The chips which had the skin were also very nice. One also gets a small salad with the fish and chips which make them more healthy. Had the meal with a reasonable glass of white wine. Good value, hardly any more than having a takeaway from a fish and chip shop.

After an all nighter on the coach to get to London, all you want is a good coffee to perk you up for the Eurostar ride. Had a lovely vegan croissant with raspberry jam, but it, and everything I ate after that first sip, was drowned by a burnt, bitter, undrinkable cappuccino that no amount of sugar could save. Classic London Tourist Trap Coffee.

We very much enjoyed our latte and cappuccino on a first visit here. Service was friendly. The only criticism would be they couldn't do an iced coffee, even though it was a warm day. Nice vibe though and we enjoyed sitting in there for a while.

This place used to be fantastic but after a couple of mediocre visits over the past few months we had a very disappointing experience today. We had a table for 6. First meal came up at least ten minutes before the others. Then the other meals came up individually at 5 minute intervals, meaning that the last meal was finally served about half an hour after the first! Some of our party had finished eating by this point. On top of this, some orders were wrong as they had incorrect side orders, the salmon was very dry, the hollandaise sauce was missing (cue another delay) and the halloumi in one of the burgers wasn’t cooked. Actually felt sorry for the waitress as she was very polite and it wasn’t her fault, but there was no apology or explanation from the management. Altogether a bit of a shambles.

Always enjoy our visits here. Drinks and food equally good and staff are lovely. The choices of food have recently been extended and can honestly say that we have never had a bad experience.

Chloe in the kitchen deserves lots of praise for the efforts in her meals. Always tasty and freshly prepared - a firm favourite place to visit for food and drink

Not good service. Toasted Tea cake was burnt underneath and probably a day old. Food and drink left on the counter for at least four minutes whilst waitress talked to people she knew. Will not be going back.

A fab sandwich My dad ordered ham cheese and pinapple toastie not on the menu but made special .

My daughter had been looking for weeks to find a venue to host her end of college party and then discovered The Station Pantry. The team there were really great and made my daughter and her friends feel very welcome. They were able to fully hire the venue for a very reasonable amount and they also let her decorate it too. The evening was a great success and everybody had a wonderful time.

We recently held a private party at The Station Pantry and can't praise it and the staff enough! From booking through to the end of the night, the team looked after us with ease. Nothing was too much trouble and despite being rushed off their feet, they were the most friendly, happy bunch!

We love the food here, there's a good choice and it's right opposite the station, so very handy. I love the chicken and chorizo baguette.

I honestly love this place, the food is so fresh and such great portion size. Staff are so friendly and the young guy who works there was making us laugh last time we was in. Honestly you have to try this place as it’s a little gem x

This shop was previously a cafe run by another owner, and before that a art shop I think. Directly opposite the station in Upminster, so well located. Coffee served was decent enough blend, but nothing special. Food fairly good, typical up market cafe fare really. Friendly staff. Would go back as different to chain cafes. Reasonably priced, and recently decorated/fitted out.

The proprietress here invited the volunteers of the StreetWatch initiative inside for free hot drinks! What a kind gesture, very much appreciated on a cold evening. And good to now know this grest little place is open til 10pm Thur-Sat.

A visit the station pantry weekly with friends for a few years - with previous owners as Baccarat - since being taken over by new owners the same staff work there. One staff member is friendly and lovely towards us, whilst the other lady has a very bad attitude towards us and we find her very rude, there is never a welcoming smile from her, I should imagine the owners would be very upset if they knew the attitude of there stafff member, the owners come across as very friendly on the few occasions we have seen them. The breakfast there is very enjoyable

Delightfully welcomed and found table for the three of us despite being very full. Three different lunches excellent in every way - freshly prepared wonderful ingredients. Underpriced for the quality and quantity. Drinks list surprisingly comprehensive for such a small place - wines great ! The more senior lady member of our party did say that it is the sort of place that she would be happy to visit on her own.

Visited today with a friend for lunch, coffee and food to high standard, quite a variety to choose from and reasonably priced. Found one member of staff rude which ruined it for me, I asked for ketchup and she rolled her eyes. Due to the horrible woman will not be returning and reason why I gave 3 stars. Shame as food was lovely,

I had a really excellent carrot cake and a flat white coffee. Very generously iced cake and it was really tasty - recommended. Very friendly service - will be returning.

We had a portion of chicken skewers with sharing starters compilation of garlic mushrooms; garlic bread; onion rings; bbq chicken wings and sweet potato fries - food was truly excellent

Just had breakfast in this wonderful cafe. The food was fantastic. The coffee was exceptional and the staff were just lovely. I would recommend it to anyone but go see for yourself.

We visited this cafe recently for the first time despite it being open for over half a year.

It was my first visit to this new little cafe but definitely won't be my last. We were only there in the morning for a couple of cappuccinos but were treated well. It was table service which is always nice to find. The breakfast menu and the cakes looked very appetising. Perhaps next time I will stop for lunch, It is bright, clean and airy and has plenty of seating. Staff held the door open when we left which is a nice touch.

I stopped in by chance, on my way to a Managers meeting and the breakfast was Lovely, Service and atmosphere Second to none. Would recommend everyone start they're day here but be careful, you may not want to leave.
