We often visit this cafe for coffee and cake while out walking . Today we were a group of 6 family ,including elderly relatives. We were sat in one of the rooms inside. The staff were very attentive and friendly . We ordered both the small and large breakfasts along with coffees and tea. The food was very good . Lovely and hot and well presented . It was nice that 2 different members of staff checked all was OK with the food. The cafe has a loyalty card scheme, where you gain a stamp every time you order a hot drink. When the card is full you can get a free drink.

As a cyclist, this place sits on a main cycling/walking/horse riding route. It's both a godsend and a beautiful location. Have several times had just a coffee here and several more their amazing bacon and sausage toasties, which as a cyclist I can tell you are a thing of absolute joy. For me the best cafe on the Wirral, or off it...

... at the Station Master's yesterday, I'm glad we had booked as it was full. I had the Eggs Benedict and my friend had the Korean twist on the same. Delicious. Very friendly and welcoming staff as always. Back soon.

Lovely setting but the breakfast was inedible the bacon and sausage were over cooked and we had only been in 15 minutes after opening so I can only assume they were from the day before and reheated Very disappointed even though it said on the menu food is freshly prepared this was not freshly prepared it has been reheated to the point I could not put eat it.

A truly lovely cafe in a wonderfully renovated station with immediate access to great walks in the area. Amazing coffee, delicious snacks and lovely staff.

What a lovely spot. Right on the Wirral Way, it's warm and comfortable with friendly helpful waiting staff and lovely food. Four of us went there on Thursday 19th Oct, on a wet windy day and it was lovely to be there, instead of out in the weather. I believe it's busy on nice days, when people are out walking the Wirral Way, but it's a lovely place to go when the weather's bad and it's quiet. We had avocado on sourdough with perfectly cooked poached eggs, the chicken sandwich and chips. All were beautifully cooked and very filling.

Had a very pleasant coffee and cake, seated on the platform of this listed station in Willaston. Free parking in the small adjacent carpark; a nice range of cakes and most coffees. Price was around average for its type. Service was boarding a tad slow (for just coffee and cake) but were delivered by lovely, friendly staff. A more complex menu is available with an eclectic range of foods on offer; ranging from breakfast/brunch, toasties and ever changing specials. Put simply it's a pleasant place to enjoy a nice coffee while visiting the historic station, passing through on the Wirral Way, or just to venture to. Plus there are take-away options, but check the website for opening times. I'll be back.

Attended Saturday night quiz. Arrived at 7:00pm. Started with a glass of red wine and Mediterranean platter followed by a to die for cheesecake( all food freshly cooked by Jason ( chef ) and the team. Wolfed the cheese cake down and realised I hadn't took a picture. Had a few more vino's during the quiz along with some banter with Jason and the regular customers. All tables were booked and nice to see a full house. Made a change to the average Saturday night and will certainly do it again. Would recommend to call in prior for some brekky or lunch to book quiz any day before or on Saturday. Quiz moved on quicker than your normal pub quiz which was great with the light banter and no typical interruptions from pub scene. Didn't win the quiz but enjoyed trying.

Stumbled on this wonderful cafe as we were on our way home from a camping trip. The staff are incredibly friendly and were so welcoming and kind to my 5yo daughter. The food was amazing, we both had the breakfast and my daughter had a lunch box which she loved and I thought it was great value, when we went inside to pay we couldn't not buy one (or two) of the amazing cakes. So delicious. Thank you :)

Our favourite place to come for brunch after football. The team, as always, went above and beyond with the orders for our family (all with different dietary requirements). The boys had the classic big breakfast with local products at a great price. I tried the weekend special eggs Benedict and it was amazing. The boys filled their boots. The girls enjoyed new things. The doorstop toast alone is worth the visit. Sadly, no room for my favourite one the menu - parsnip cake, but the cake-away option meant I could enjoy it later. We brought a friend for their first visit and she was blown away.

Not religious at all but like other reviewers found this true OASIS when looking for refreshment in Chester Just great, lovely staff and clientele and great quality and value coffee and cakes... Interesting selection of books, gifts, cards etc Would use regularly if we lived locally Staff say they may have to relocate soon due to "commercial development of the site" Surely the Church which is not short of funds can provide an alternative venue for this wonderful place which probably does more for spreading the religious message than many more traditional churches etc...something in the Cathedral Precinct maybe?? Good luck to you all and God bless ( if it helps)
