Great food and great range of drinks on bottomless brunch, Came with our sausage dog and had a great time, Served by Niamh who was friendly and very helpful, Would recommended and absolutely come back again,

Fabulous bottomless for a catch up with friends, great value for money, lovely food. Our server Niamh was very attentive & couldn't do enough for us. Josh made great cocktails & they just kept coming! Was disappointed I couldn't leave a tip for them, as only accepted cash tips & I never have cash on me these days!

The best bottomless brunch around! Josh served us and was fantastic for the whole period. We never had to wait without a drink! Definitely deserved the tip! Highly recommend coming here and fingers crossed Josh serves you!

There is no food, only beer and snacks. The beer is very delicious. They play soccer, but the picture quality is a bit poor. But the owner is pretty 😃

Quiet.set off for wetherspoons but it was too noisy. Nice friendly crowd in pub. I used to go there when our church was in the Comfort Inn. Service with a smile. Reasonable prices. Comfortable

Local in the centre of town. Always some characters in there to cheer up your day. Good attentive service by all staff also. Would recommend if you want a place with no bells and whistles.

Martin, Alex, Keiran, beth and Nadine were fantastic and booking late accommodated, especially Martin went out of his way to ensure I had a great birthday drink with my friend. Weather wasn't the best but the venue is setup to deal with nice and amazing weather aswell as the bad, definitely will be going back.

Estaba un poco preocupado ya que normalmente la estación es un pub muy popular.No tenía por qué preocuparse.Nos recibieron en la puerta, reservamos, nos llevaron a nuestra mesa y nos explicaron todo.La cerveza estaba a la altura como siempre y la adherencia a las reglas de "bloqueo" fue muy reconfortante.¡Así que gracias! Volveremos pronto.

Mi pareja y yo tuvimos nuestra primera cita en meses. Elegimos aquí después de habernos conocido inicialmente allí hace 4 años. No nos decepcionó. El personal fue amable y servicial, especialmente el portero que contrató a las personas que explicaron todas las nuevas reglas vigentes para mantener el distanciamiento social. El viernes fue la primera vez que salí desde que se levantó el período de bloqueo. Estaba un poco escéptico acerca de salir, pero me sorprendió gratamente. El tipo de la puerta fue muy educado y servicial y explicó lo que podíamos y no podíamos hacer. El ambiente era agradable y relajado. Era justo lo que necesitaba. ¡Definitivamente vendrá de nuevo! !

Visito este pub de vez en cuando con mi amiga, ya que vive cerca. Dudábamos un poco ir a un pub después de que volvieran a abrir, especialmente después de escuchar historias de terror sobre otros pubs de la zona. Lo intentamos y quedamos gratamente sorprendidos. Visitamos el miércoles por la noche. Nos recibieron en la puerta y nos explicaron las nuevas directrices del gobierno. Fue un poco abrumador, pero cuando lo vimos en la práctica, nos hizo sentir muy seguros. Hay estaciones de desinfección de manos en todas partes y recordatorios para lavarse las manos. Tienes que ir al bar para pedir o usar su aplicación. Probamos la aplicación que era fácil de usar. Además, enhorabuena a todo el personal que fue muy educado a pesar del calor abrasador.

Martyn is the best! Great attitude and explained the simple rules in a nice manner which made me feel safe in these weird times.

Así que hoy nos encontramos con dos amigos en la estación. Conocí a Nina, que nos llevó a mi esposa y a mí a conocer a nuestros amigos. Nos registramos y nos desinfectamos. Martyn nos atendió y llevó nuestras bebidas a la mesa, qué gran chico, nos cuidó durante unas horas. Es agradable ir a tomar una copa social y ser atendido por el personal sin preocupaciones. Tengo que decir que las reglas del pub son estrictas porque garantizan que todos estén seguros y bien tanto para los clientes como para el personal. El equipo de gestión y todo el personal tienen un buen proceso establecido y se adhieren a él. Todos deberían tomar una hoja de sus libros. Gracias por hoy.

Dirty place and arrogant manager, I will never come back. The food is terrible and the manager is the worst person I ever met in my whole life. please I prefer eat rubbish of the ground that their freeze food.

Upon arrival yesterday the attitude of the ‘manager’ on the door was disgusting; stood there with a clipboard and was nothing but unwelcoming.. our friends had a table booked outside and were already sat waiting for us, before I could even say that we had friends sat already to this man he couldn’t wait to tell us “we’re fully booked!” - it’s almost like he doesn’t want the custom? I then explained we had 2 friends already there and we are a party of 5 (government guidelines state up to 6 people per booking) his reply to that was “il decide how many people I seat, not you..” At the time I had chose to ignore his dismissive attitude as I didn’t want to ruin our night together - but I think it’s crucial for this person to be made aware of how important good customer care really is. I wouldn’t have minded but it was so quiet once I did sit down.. empty tables everywhere, I wonder why...For a venue such as this, and having visited this place for years.. it’s clear that your local guests are your bread and butter; in future I would seriously re-consider how you speak/treat people as it’s sad to see how downhill this place is going due to such behaviour from people like this. Rather than stand there feeling self-entitled looking down on people maybe work on welcoming your guests with a smile and ensure them of a good night..Totally appalled.

Popped straight from work with some colleagues always a fabulous atmosphere but the toilets are a disgrace! Enjoyed some bog standard pub grub, the outside space is divine and service was good too, it’s a winner

Upon arriving at the station we loved the decor and the feel of the place but got hounded by the "door men" (thugs) to take our hats off. It was a cold day in January and we were all very cold after our long walk in the park and to be greeted with the angry tone they gave us was massive put off, the bar staff could not have been nicer and the food was great but the hounding by the bouncers really made us all feel uncomfortable and our two babies cried the whole time

Watched the footy in here on a Sunday afternoon, full of friendly Blues fans. Cheap pish. I thought it was fine.

Mis amigos y yo decidimos darle otra oportunidad este año y nos sorprendió lo encantador y alegre que era. Buena música cursi, bebidas a precios razonables y agradable ver la restricción de edad en el lugar. . Creo que esa fue la razón por la que el pub era mucho más seguro y el ambiente era más agradable. ¡Sigan con el buen trabajo!

He estado en muchos lugares pero nunca he experimentado un comportamiento tan aborrecible por parte de un "gerente" en mi vida. Mi amigo que está ciego registrado fue retirado de las instalaciones por tirar accidentalmente una bebida. Si pudiera dar un cero lo haría. Verdaderamente vergonzoso. Si tienes una discapacidad de cualquier tipo, no vayas a este lugar.

Having lived in Sutton my whole life. And visited the station numerous times. Tonight a Somalian doorman was beyond words ill mannered to me, I left the premises he then continued to be rude and act unprofessional. This place employs scum. Avoid at all costs. Who is the manager? Do they have interviews and correct checks on who they employ? This bloke was a low life beyond words. Scum

Reservé The Station para mi comida de empresa, pudimos elegir entre Bracebridge, Pierre Bistro y The Station. Nos decidimos por la estación y no nos decepcionó! ! El pavo estaba delicioso al igual que el salmón y la costilla de ternera. Toda la comida era deliciosa y disfrutamos muchísimo. Incluso disfrutamos el servicio de mesa, ya que era una ocasión especial. ¡Me gustaría agradecer a Kieran por cuidarnos y a Robin por cocinar nuestra maravillosa comida!Recomendaría The Station a cualquiera que esté buscando un lugar con un gran ambiente y entretenimiento regular.

Nice to see a good range of beers on offer and we sampled one or two to see which ones we liked. The beer garden was well laid out at the rear of the pub and my fish and chips were great value for £10. Friendly staff too which is always a bonus.

Booked the room upstairs for a 50th birthday party, great food and service with private bar, good buffet selection with plenty for everyone, all in all a great night where everyone enjoyed themselves.

Visited Friday bank holiday and Sunday bank holiday. Service on From day was its usual standard. The bar staff never have any idea of who is next in the queue. Stood for 10 minutes and the bar staff just say who's next. Can they not see who appears first. ?? In fact surprised only took me 10 minutes to get served!Monday went with friends who like gin. Gin menu sounds good but for just over £8 a glass I expect more than ice and a slice as the menu suggests!

I visited the pub over the weekend for some drinks with my friends and family. I entered the pub for my friends birthday, I got served at the front door by two lovely girls, both very polite and hard working. I moved to the garden and went for a drink at the upper bar that was open at the back. I was served by a tall younger man who was very rude. Never even took notice of my presence and didn’t look happy to be there. I purchased a bottle of beer and was not told it was alcohol free. Upon my return with the beer the barman said it was my fault, I said it if I noticed the beer was alcohol free I would not have purchased. He called over his manager and made me feel insignificant. The manager fixed the issue but it seemed like a larger problem than it needed to be. I think the barman could have been politer and showed more respect to a paying customer.

This by far my Dog’s favourite pub for bar staff cuddles - it also serves a decent pint as well! Fantastic comedy club upstairs and great chicken wings. Large outdoor area and very dog friendly.

Visited the Station for lunch with my daughter and her two children. We all really enjoyed the food which was excellent and very reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and helpful and, because of this, the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. There is a great selection of real ale available, with a discount for Camra members (must remember my membership card next time!).

Used to be the best pub in Sutton Coldfield but unfortunately now has disinterested and un-engageuing bar staff with little atmosphere or feeling. While the food remains excellent the price doesn't match the ambiance today for example young children were chasing balloons around the bar area while we were trying to have lunch. Not sure we'll return which is a shame

Last night was the first time I’d been to The Station since probably last summer. Prior to that I had been a regular for around 18-20yrs. I was really looking forward to seeing my old haunt again. Conversations on the way involved relief that there are still pubs around that you can relax at and have a drink knowing you are surrounded by like minded people who just want to have a great night, drink good beer/lager/wine, listen to great music and perhaps have good honest and decent food.

Just been stood at the empty bar for 10 minutes watching the barmaid fiddling with her phone, completely oblivious to me. Shockingly poor service. Obviously can't be bothered.

Had a Christmas party up I the private function room, great atmosphere & great service! Hayley was behind the bar & she was amazing, couldn't of been a better night, will be coming back!!!!!

The Station pub is one of the consistent parts of Sutton. Perfect for railway travellers as you can walk out of the station and 10 metres from the into Brum platform you are in the Station.

No puedo arreglar este lugar. Fui hace unas semanas a tomar unas copas y el lugar carecía de ambiente y la cerveza era impactante. Organizamos una reunión de trabajo la semana pasada en el mismo pub (que no tenía muchas ganas de hacer) y la noche fue estupenda y la cerveza realmente buena. ¿Por qué el estándar de la cerveza no es consistente? No lo sé. Es un gran lugar para reunirse y la zona exterior es realmente buena. Tenga cuidado con el suelo alrededor de la barra, ya que se inclina y tiene dos niveles diferentes.

Almorzamos en The Station, fue el final de nuestros pocos días en un spa, pedimos bebidas, quería J 2 O pero nunca lo hicieron, así que tenía zumo de arándano, mi compañero tenía una corona de lima.

Great beer, friendly staff and clientele are a pleasant crowd. The only thing that lets this pub down is the state of the toilets, the smell is quite noticeable from the main area of the bar. I would certainly come here more often if they were sorted out.

I watched the England game this evening with my Husband and friends at the Royal. Great atmosphere and very accommodating.After the game finished so triumphantly we went to the Royal. I wasn’t allowed in because I was wearing an England top. I work full time and in a high powered job. I was made to feel like the lowest of the low. Never again will I go to the Station. Thought it was a joke at first. Rude arrogant and disrespectful

Small inside but a great beer garden at the back and quite refreshing for Sutton Coldfield, as it’s not my number one place to visit.

The pub is really good but ruined by a self indulgent DJ playing only the music he likes. People leaving in droves.

We visited here whilst waiting for our train. Very good selection of ales and very nice tapas which were great value although they were missing a few from the menu. Nice welcoming, friendly staff, will definitely visit again.

No se pierda esta gran y pequeño pub si se dirige desde el centro de la ciudad de sutton coldfield hasta la estación - con su exterior pintado de azul y con un cartel de publicidad de sus 'DDivina Costiera Beer Garden". Esto indica un interior luminoso y agradable y una cálida bienvenida. Este es un establecimiento en el que parar y tomar un refresco, y sirve buena comida a precios razonables. Estamos impresionados de que tiene una buena opción vegetariana incluye hamburguesa vegetal, Chile y varios otros. La comida es buena y el servicio excelente. Sin duda recomiendo el lugar para bebidas o comidas informales.

Well.... if you like this kind of thing. Great beer, laid back atmosphere (at the times that I visit - early evenings), good pub food. It’s got a reputation as a good place in the area. Oh.... and it’s unmissable when getting off the train!

A group of about 15 of us came here for a meal before going to a show at the Town Hall. We chose this place because of its convenience but the food is incredibly delicious and warming. We had booked a table for our group and they reserved two tables pushed together. This was fine for us as it was more of a relaxed evening anyway. A few of us at a time went up to order our meals at the bar and they managed to get the majority out at a similar time despite them being ordered in dribs and drabs.

We have visited this pub regularly for 15 years. It is always a good trip and a fascinating historical journey of the railway service combined with great food, quality weekend entertainment and friendly service. It does become very busy with an assorted travelling and local...

Nice pub to meet friends. Ordered some food and we all had the same (fully loaded mac n cheese)The disappointment of getting a bar grilled slice of bread, spread with garlic butter instead of the focacia it was supposed to come with, could have been avoided with a little heads up from the staff. Es muy irresponsable que toda la zona es de no fumadores, los sujetos no fumadores a respirar todo y alienta a los fumadores a fumar cadena. Si una pequeña zona era el único espacio de humo en humo entonces personas menos y esto sin duda sería en interés de la salud pública, para fumadores y no fumadores por igual. Vi una señora embarazada en el jardín de la cerveza tratando de ser sociable, pero ella era muy consciente de la respiración claramente. Otros bares en Sutton, tales como la botella de Saco, han tomado iniciativas similares para confinar a una pequeña zona de fumadores, así todo el mundo puede disfrutar del ambiente exterior. Me pone fuera pidiendo comida aquí ya no quiero respirar humo mientras come. El jardín de la cerveza tiene todo el ambiente del pub, así que no querría sentarse dentro, pero el humo me pone seriamente y otros no fumadores visitando. La estación debe moverse con los tiempos y darse cuenta de cómo muchas personas están preocupados por su salud y no quiero volver a casa oliendo a cenicero después de disfrutar de una copa tranquila.

He visitado este fantástico pub/local por muchos años. Uno de los mejores pubs de los Midlands. Los martes a las 21:00 es noche de música. Escuchar esos grupos increíbles como individuos/Freefall, Ben Drummond, Tony Skeggs, Tom Walker, etc. ya que cerca está la felicidad!

Went here with a large group of colleagues after a long meeting. There is a great atmosphere in the pub and the band were excellent! The food was good pub fayre - generous portions and the waitress was great fun! We had left ordering a bit late so missed out on our desserts, but apart from that - a great night!

So we have been using The Station a number of years now and seeing as I am now in my 41st year on this earth it's not that often that I (well actually both I and Lou) spend a friday night at the Station, Tonight though was an exception and what a great night we both had even if it was just for a couple of hours!A lot of people moan about the speed of service and the staff attitude at this pub! I may be a regular here but I can tell you that the staff are very hard working, are always happy and always willing to go the extra mile for all it's patrons. If I have learned one thing in my 41 years its patience and how to treat my fellow man.What annoyed me tonight though was the rude and loud fellows pushing and forcing their way to the bar when it's clearly busy demanding to be served next and fast! The staff are hard working and always do their best so please if you use this pub on a weekend night please learn a bit of patience and decorum and always order your 6 pints of guinness first!I applaude you guys for the service you provide! Will be back (well thats a given hey)

Meal for 4 this quiet Tuesday lunchtime, apparently it is not possible to have starters prior to your main if the chef is on his own? Food was mediocre, good portions but nothing to write home about! Staff were not rude but hardly attentive. Maybe worthwhile for a quick pint or small bite to eat prior to catching a train, otherwise find somewhere else.

The assistant manager is awesome! The deputy ain't too bad and the general well... well.... the assistant deserves a pay rise!!

A lively venue with good craft beers, not too expensive and popular with all age groups. There is a really nice beer garden at the rear which is always bustling. Good to visit at any time of the year. Located just fifty yards from the entrance to Sutton Coldfield railway station, so very easy to get to. Also it's only a couple of hundred yards from Sutton Town centre where there are buses to many locations.

My friends and I all love this place! Fabulous atmosphere and a cracking beer garden! DJ playing some very decent Motown! Yes it can take a little while to get served when they are at their busiest but you can see all the staff doing their best to get everyone setvwd. Can't wait till I can arrange our next night out!

First time visit today with some friends for lunch. The food took a little longer than expected to arrive but on arrival it was very good, especially the fish pie which was delicious.

Probably Sutton ' s best vibe. Great beer garden on three levels, pizza truck in garden with great food, excellent music a choice of real ales and good food. The only downside is the wait at the bar because the pub is so popular and the management aren't artfully skilled in allocating the staff appropriately. Worth a visit any time of the year

This pub does not look very exciting from the exterior but I found it welcoming and friendly with an excellent food menu that offers great choice including pub classics, burritos, lots of mains, small plates etc. It is good to find a place that has several vegetarian dishes to choose from. The food was hot, well prepared and reasonably priced. It is clearly a pub that has a lot of regulars and it claims to have a 'divine beer garden' which must be great for warm weather though it was too cold when I was there. It is right opposite the entrance to train station so very convenient for rail travellers. It is noted for evening music.
