Lovely staff food was delicious very welcoming will definitely be back again to try different food and maybe a dessert.

Staff are great very friendly and service is spot on The food though wasn't up to much, I had the chicken burger which looked and tasted like a cheap KFC Grandson had the kids chicken burger which was hardly worth putting on the bun as it was so small it was buried in the lettuce Chips tasted like reheats or microwaved. The kids jelly was in a packet like you get in Asda, chocolatebrownie was the size of a teaspoon..not worth the £80+ we paid , shame really as I've never had a bad meal in here before until now.

Come here for Father’s Day with my partner & two young children and it didn’t disappoint. Serving the beautiful Cruz Campo. Food was delicious. And the service was spot on. Big thanks to Helen for looking after us. Shaun and Sue still got the best pub in TS6!

The food that we ordered for lunch was excellent .The roast pork meal and the roast turkey meal was excellent.It is a time since we have had two meals which tasted like real home cooking.Excellent price and very obliging staff. We thoroughly recommend the Stapleton Arms and we shall certainly be calling in there in the future.

Fantastic pub in the area, we often come here as the food is great and well presented, there is a great selection of beers and the atmosphere is always relaxed. The small sharing plates are brilliant to graze with friends. The staff are extremely attentive and nothing is ever too much trouble. We are always comfortable and well looked after here.

This venue is exceptionally welcoming, the staff are friendly and always greet with a smile. I have always found Helen and Craig to be the most amenable people who will try their very best to seat guests, even when the pub is exceptionally busy. The food is served within a good timescale, it is value for money and there are always great offers on both food and drink but, once again, I think it’s definitely the lovely staff that create a relaxing atmosphere at the Stap.

Rang up for a table of 6 for my family, which they always manage to fit us in with no issues even when they are busy they are always accommodating, Food is always lovely and my children love it

Wonderful staff for finding tables at last minute. Especially Helen, Alison, sue, Shaun, Craig, zoe, danika, courtney, josh, jack, michelle and Campbell.

We had family visit from New Zealand and needed lunch for Fathers day, after contacting the Stapylton it was fully booked but a table was available in the bar at 4pm so I left my number in case there was a cancellation. The management rang me to say it was available early which was brilliant. The meal and service was perfect a credit to the staff.

Helen and the team are brilliant. Always make us welcome and accommodate everything we need. Lovely family atmosphere at the heart of Eston and Normanby. We’ve been coming here for a few years now enjoying the grub, the family friendly mood and the seasonal events at Christmas, Halloween and Easter. Always a great experience for the whole family. Arrived yesterday around 6.30pm for tea. The place was bust but we had booked a table so found that no problem. New menu and lots to choose from. Had burger and fries and then hot chocolate fudge cake. Cheap and tasty, staff lovely and with a couple of drinks just under 12 quid each....perfect.

Although the service was quick at the bar, we were here for a funeral wake the pub were aware of this and there was plenty of us, we chose this pub as it was our aunties local. The bar staff were rude and when some of us ordered tea and coffee (10am) and were left waiting 20 minutes, they then told us it would be a ‘long wait for tea and coffee’ the bar staff were extremely rude considering the reason for our visit. There was one member of staff a gentleman who was very polite and was lovely but the female staff were extremely rude and aburupt. It’s a good pub for a drink but customer service is shocking.

Never been before so visiting for the first time for my Son's birthday. Pig ignorant bar staff name of "Alison" looked like she'd turn milk sour. The dirty look she gave me and my husband as we approached the bar. No people skills or friendly manner. Snapped at me as I sat at a table that had been reserved for our party stating it was reserved. Yeah, I can read but could see my daughter in laws name reserving it. No apology just filthy looks.

We were in need of something to eat after traveling to the area from Oxford, so we called into “the Stap” for lunch. A great little pub serving some really nice food all at a good price. Staff were very friendly and attentive.

I took my kids for a meal at the Stap and was pleasantly surprised about the friendliness of young barmaid and amazing steak. It was cooked perfect and huge portion. I will certainly be using this venue more often. The young waiter was also very friendly.
