Wow, impressed with the quality of the food here. Was expecting a simple greasy spoon, but the food was cooked to perfection. Great atmosphere, the staff were really friendly, the food was served in a timely manner and hot, all items were high quality and even though I am not from Middlesbrough, you can tell locals populate frequently as staff new names of people. Amazing, will deffo visit again when in Middlesbrough. Truly recommend if you want a great full English done really well and reasonably priced. For 2 people with a drink cost me £23.

I loved this place. We we looking for a lunch spot and I fancied an all day breakfast and a coffee, but something better than generic greasy spoon type. This place nailed it. The menu and food was great. Our coffees were lovely. The staff really friendly and helpful, and the environment and background music to my taste. Definitely one of my new favourite chill and eat spots.

Pleasant and polite service very Tasty food 😋, I had a Salmon Salad, good portion, plenty of smoked Salmon. Partner had a Beef Burger, spot on , big & juicy 👍. Would go back again.

Three of us went for a full English vegetarian breakfast today. The food was nice , the service was good and the ambience was great. Would recommend this place.

In Middlesbrough for the weekend getting some work done on my van, and was recommended this place but the garage. Both myself and me dog received a very friendly welcome, and they brought her water & biscuits. Cracking full English breakfast and a well made flat white. Couldn't fault it.

Visited at Saturday lunchtime, first time eating here. I ordered the eggs Benedict and also had some sweet potato fries on the side. The eggs were nicely poached, the hollandaise sauce was tasty and the overall dish was very enjoyable. If you like the look of the menu then I recommend this place, everything seems to be of good quality and the service was reasonably fast.

Simply the best place for breakfast & brunch on Teesside. Simple food done to perfection, and tons of healthy options. Staff always cheery and super friendly. Just amazing.

Simply the best. This is my favourite place in Middlesbrough. The food is delicious. Oh and the desserts are lush. Superb atmosphere. Friendly staff. Nothing is too much for them. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic helpful staff and the food is always good quality and prompt! The prices are good - except for the window cakes which can be £6 a slice! - and the amount good as well! Gave 4 stars for atmosphere as it gets loud but this shows how popular it is!

Ordered from here today for breakfast. Really lovely, and my American husband was overjoyed to be able to get chicken and waffles which he stated were great. I had the eggs benedict and that was also very good. Will be ordering from here again. Top marks.

The food was unbelievable, and the atmosphere was great! They even allow dogs in the restaurant! Would highly recommend going here if you haven't already :)

We stopped for a late breakfast and we were pleasantly surprised by the choice on the menu. Options for all. You choose a table and order at the till, which is shown on a board on the wall. Friendly staff, good food and a quick service!

Love this place! The staff are always so welcoming and friendly and the food is delicious. The best jacket potatoe I have ever had. The hot chocolates are a must to try! There’s nowhere else I would go in the centre of boro for food or drink. Highly recommend.

Foods not the worst. Mushroom and tomato in my English breakfast weren't cooked enough and tomato smelled rancid. Pancake uncooked as well. Nice atmosphere though.

Great food, had a large cap, excellent and worthy of any coffee snob. Had the traditional English breakfast, best breakfast I have had in years. My wife had the vegan breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed it, clean plates on both sides! The staff and particular the young man who served us was extremely pleasant and courteous. This place is a rare gem in Middlesborough.

Food is great. But don't be robbed make sure you get what your paying for. Ordered and paid for NUTELLA pancakes, received cheap chocolate sauce. Was told it was Nutella when I said it wasn't Nutella, not eating cheap choc sauce or watered down Nutella whatever it is, when I pay for "Nutella". And I love Nutella 😂 I got Nutella in the end after asking again and waiting about 20mins for a pot of it, should have replaced my pancakes. If you can't give Nutella change it on your menu to choc sauce, it's false advertising.

When visiting Middlesbrough I head straight for Baker Street. Always a warm welcome from the staff, they are so helpful and polite. Tables are always clean and tidy and there is a lovely atmosphere and vibe in there. Cappuccino is my go to, I drink a lot of cappuccinos in different places, Baker Street ranks at the top for me. Great menu, portion sizes are exactly right, food is cooked perfectly, good selection of cakes and vegan cakes too which is awesome. Highly recommend. 🌟 🌟 🌟🌟🌟

I would have to say this is possibly the worst place I have ever decided to eat in my entire life. Service was abysmal and the food was absolutely disgusting. I ordered steak and eggs with extra bacon. The steak and bacon had been microwaved and the eggs were shameful. I would comfortably say I wouldn’t have given this to my dog and he eats anything. All I could think after was getting the taste out of my mouth. Everything cheap, nasty, revolting and to top it all off, asking for anything the staff look more confused than scooby doo asking a simple thing. I would strongly recommend that people don’t come anywhere near the spot and run a mile. You’d be better off eating your own flip flop. I’m actually offended that they would even choose to serve this.

So I'm celiac! Which means I'm gluten free... I heard this place caterd for us celiac. I went there and the staff where very helpful, they explained in the menu which I could have I ordered a breakfast was absolutely delicious.

Whilst this place is beautifully presented and the staff are really polite and friendly, unfortunately the Coffee’s and Food let this place down. I went in this morning for a Dirty Chai Latte and it looked and tasted awful. Whilst the staff were lovely enough to replace this with a different drink (a standard latte) when that arrived it had a slightly beer taste to it which no amount of sugar could help - almost like the coffee had been burnt. Myself and my friend ordered food, he had the egg florentine which he said was mediocre but did the job. I ordered the Banana and Chocolate pancakes and whilst the presentation was delightful unfortunately the standard of the food did not match up to this. It was like trying to cut into a cutlet of steak. The chocolate was drowning the pancakes and had a ‘cheap’ chocolate taste. The bananas tasted fresh though so at least I could eat those. I’d happily come back here again if the standards of the food and drinks were to improve but sadly for now, this will be my one and only visit to this establishment.

small jackets small fillings, salad 2 pieces of Kos lettuce leaf . coleslaw was just a jub of mayo woth red onions in looked like purple putty 🙄. for the price very disappointed hardly no cheese on potatoes. Could just be a bad day in the kitchen , but won't be ordering again first and last time.

I’ve been to Baker Street Kitchen plenty of times now, and every time I get the most lovely food and service. The atmosphere is so warm and cozy, and there’s lots of vegan options too (vegan pancakes!!) Perfect spot to meet with friends.

Had a lovely brunch here today!! Really good value for money. Also, I just wanted to say how accommodating the staff were with my baby and just wanted to say thank you to the lady with the red hair for putting me so at ease when my baby was getting a bit fed up in the highchair as it’s not often you get that when you go to cafes/restaurants. He also loves the dancing caterpillar hahah!

A gem of a place. I don’t often venture south of the river but my partner had an appointment and I came along for the ride. We stumbled across this place and were both happily surprised. We visited Thursday lunchtime at 3ish and though the place wasn’t busy there were a few tables occupied. I can imagine this place being popular during peak kick time hours. Service was friendly and welcoming. My partner had the parmo supreme burger and wow it looked and I was informed tasted amazing. Moist tender chicken and very generous portion. I had a tuna and cheese jacket potato and we finally found somewhere that doesn’t skip on the toppings. You could taste the tuna it wasn’t drowning in mayo and the potato was cooked to perfection. With 2 cups of tea the bill came to £25 such good value for money. If we’re down that way again we’ll definitely be back. Watching other dishes being served I got menu envy.

I had smashed avocado, crispy bacon, poached eggs on toasted bloomer, everything was cooked to perfection and the avocado was amazing. My sister had the full English and said it's the best breakfast she has every had. The staff are friendly and very inviting. I would highly recommend Baker Street Kitchen

I've been here a few times it's the perfect place for brunch items. I'm vegetarian and lactose intolerant so ask for the vegan menu which have a lot of the same options from the main menu on. I always find the staff super friendly and helpful if I ask anything to be swapped, they did run out of any of the parmos for my partner when we went last however it was close to closing time. At times it can be a little loud during the rush at midday so if you're someone like myself who struggles in loud environments it may be best to wait until the lunch time rush has gone.

Came here on the 11th December 2023 at around 8.40am. Absolutely terrible service from the start.We put our order in and the guy repeated it back to us and all was OK. Came to been served to only recieve one out of three breakfast and no drinks at all. Sat waiting for a short time assuming the rest was comming and went back up to be told they missed half the stuff off the order as they didn't realised (still was charged though). Asked for a refund as we weren't going to sit around waiting for anuther two to ve made for the one we had to go cold to be only given a half refund, like really. Eventually sorted it but a very bad experience definitely won't be returning, the guy serving definitely wasn't all there seemed like he was on something, then as we were packing up to go were were just getting dirty looks whilst they were talking amongst themselves. AVOID. had the staff deskt with this better amd showed positive communication skills me may well have stayed through the mess up.

Ordered salmon salad this afternoon. Found a stone size of a large pea, it was very hard and I could break my tooth easily. Out of order.

The quality of the food was not very good. The fries arrived cold and the sandwich was very dry, even for toasted bread. Not sure why the fried egg was stuffed into the corner of the box.

Would be nice if you had London Pride Beer is all I have to say.

I am a regular customer, food lovely but today the girl overcharged me by £7.50 by adding an item I hadn't ordered. Instead of voiding the sale altogether and starting again she charged me £25 and did a refund for £7.50. When I asked about it, there was no apology from her, in fact she was quite blasé about the fact that while £25 is taken immediately out of my account, I will have to wait for the bank to reimburse me with the £7.50 because of the girls incompetence! Surely the sale should have been void and done again correctly!!!

This is my local restaurant and I've came here a few times for breakfast which has always been 50/50 in quality. Their salads and breakfast is good. They do their burgers well. Their panini's and melts have not been to appetising but the worst is the chicken. The chicken is dry with little to no seasoning which was disappointing once when I decided to get a chicken burger. The customer service is very good and I like the vibe of it. Improvements need to be made in some parts of the menu but overall it's a nice establishment.

BSK hosted my mother’s 70th birthday party recently and I couldn’t have asked for a better venue. Everything was amazing from the facilities, the room set-up and the tasty food. The staff were also fantastic. They could not do enough for us and made us very welcome. They even went above and beyond making the menu and drinks Italian themed as a surprise when they found out our family heritage. I recommend this place for either a casual lunch or a private celebration. They have never disappointed.

I can’t recommend enough - both my dad and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals, and the staff were so lovely. We were greeted as we came in, and just overall it felt like a great environment. The smoothie was amazing too, and my vegetarian breakfast was delicious. Thanks guys, I’ll be back soon!

Every time we’ve been here the food is amazing, bus mistakes happen at all restaurants and BSK is no different. When we got our food today, there was an issue with one of the meals (nothing major at all) and we took it back to the counter. The staff were absolutely amazing with us and couldn’t be more apologetic. They took care of us and instead of the food standing out to us this time, it was the exceptional customer service we received. Thanks so much for making a fuss of us and leaving us with arguably our best experience here, we will definitely be coming back very soon!

5 superb atmosphere and service great toasties

This was a great experience. Lovely staff, fantastic service, and delicious food and drink. I had a ham and cheese toastie and one of the speciality mochas to sit in and had an Oreo brownie to go, which was absolutely outstanding - I’d have happily eaten a second one!

We really enjoyed our lunch here! Toasties were all great & the cakes were yummy. It was very friendly and as an LGBT family, we felt very welcomed :)

Lovely Mother’s Day meal. Everything cooked to perfection and as we asked for. Nothing was too much trouble and service was served with a smile. Only issue was the tables were too cramped together with people sitting directly behind us so we couldn’t pull our chairs out to sit down.

I ordered smashed avocado and eggs on toast. Bread was thin sliced white Hovis and the avocado tasted supermarket bought - not what you’d expect for £7. Really quite disappointing.

Fantastic coffee shop and restaurant in Middlesbrough. They have a great menu and the food is top quality. I popped in for full English breakfast and a cappuccino. The staff are friendly and the service is excellent. They have indoor and outside seating.

Sausage was like a rock not very pleasant the hash brown was not the best either more of a potato ball then a hash brown didn’t taste like hash brown either bacons beans and egg was good

Went out on a weekend morning for breakfast, first visit and I was very pleased with the fast table service. I had planned to get the Chicken Waffles but unfortunately they were not in stock that day, but it was happily substituted with pancakes instead. The meal was delicious and I'll definitely be making a return in the future.

The food is pretty good. Quite expensive though and the portion sizes steer towards the cheaper ingredients (IE fried tomatoes, mushrooms) than others (hash browns, sausages, black pudding).

Over the past 12 week's I've visited here most Tuesday mornings. It is a little gem. I often have breakfast which comes out well presented, hot and is very tasty. The service is good and the staff very hard working. Nothing is a problem - just ask for what you want and if it can be accommodated the staff will try their best to help.

Popped in for a quick coffee whilst my other half was at dentists. Nice flat white and a warm cheese scone. Quick service and reasonably priced.

I usually love Baker Street. But today the staff were rude a collection order was 20 minutes over the stated collection time. Yet the food was luke warm. When asked where the order was I was told to sit down and they were aware that I was waiting. Felt like they didn’t even start the order u til I walked into the place or they’d just left it on the side and thought it would be fun for me to sit and wait. Really disappointed.

This is one of my favourite spots for a mate date and catch up its stylish modern and very welcoming, the food great and they have a nice variety of options on the menu, the staff are friendly and nothing is to much for them, got to mention the young lass who is always on the till her personality shines she is very cheerful and set the pace for the restaurant, if she isn’t a manger she deserves to be
