Good beer and great staff. New owners still the same quality service. Beer garden under refurbishment, making new seating area and eventually adding an outdoor TV. Bringing back food baskets and pizzas 🍕

The lady working today (April First around 1pm) was an absolute gem. Great pints for a very good price and she was so kind and accommodating. I’d forgotten my lighter and she even went to her car to try and find one! Absolute legend. Will definitely come back next time we’re in the area

I visited The Stanley Arms for a drink and possibly some food. When I walked in the customers and barman looked at me as though we shouldn’t be there. I asked for two different drinks which I was laughed at and told they don’t stock, no apology no alternative offered. No food offered. It was a very uncomfortable experience. I get the impression that unless you are local you are not welcome. It was a shame because the pub itself is a very nice old building, let down by poor service.

Friendly and decent proper pub in the small town Wesham not far from Blackpool. Barmaid was friendly and welcoming (didn't catch her name, but she was friendly and polite) didn't interact with the regulars, but they seem a nice bunch and no trouble or problems were had and made the atmosphere friendly and your typical local community pub. Was visiting from Birmingham via Blackpool watching Kidderminster Harriers play at Fylde and were welcoming and accommodating and I will certainly come back for a drink and recommend this pub.

Generally horrible pub with unwelcoming people drinking in it.

Honestly just an alright pub. Everyone was a regular and the staff can be nice. All around good atmosphere. Having worked a stint there I can also say that it's a decent pub even on match days as they do have football on and it's not filled with people screaming for their teams and is an easy place to watch a match.

Awful, exploit staff, paying less than minimum wage

Sign said open until 12am so went in for one for the road. Told at 11.20 they were closed when people were in. Bloke was extremely rude to us. Definitely would not recommend and we weren't even drunk so there was no excuse to turn us away.

It's a proper traditional locals pub which always has a few decent real ale on which is very handy when it's across the road from the train station!

Superb locals pub and a real asset to the Wesham community. Pool table. Fabulously well kept real ale. Live sports TV. Food served to a high standard.. Super friendly bar staff who are very attentive when serving you. Nearest pub to Kirkham & Wesham train station. Highly recommended.

We called on our way to a cricket match in the area. The landlady Adele was fantastic, opening early and providing breakfast for our players and supporters. All the other staff were so friendly too. Thanks Adele, I will be sure to call next time I'm in the area.

now the northern h.q. for notts county fans after 2 abandoned matches at Fylde F.C. well deserves its place in Camra's good pub guide.3 well kept beers on offer.food is good with a cool atmosphere in the pub.we shall return when the match is re-arranged.very friendly landlord and staff.cracking chippy across the road as you wander up to the ground.

Had a brilliant night excellent food a and beer all round .

Only popped in for a drink, but immediately saw this place is well run. Good selection of real ales, boards around the bar advertising food. Next time I shall eat here. It was Thursday lunchtime, when this pub offers a Community Lunch, providing a meal and a social event for retirement age folk, who clearly appreciate it. The landlord and the girl at the bar were both friendly and genuinely welcoming, Two minutes walk from K&W station, it is well worth getting off the train for.

Great locals pub... We are from South shore, Blackpool but always make us feel welcome... Live sports, sports teams 'if you fancy a game'. Great quality real ale as always...

Nothing too much trouble for the staff. We arrived just after they had stopped serving food, but they still accomodated us. Food served fast, good potions at a very good price. Nice atmosphere. Thank you.

Can't say enough about this place. Beer is top notch with an excellent selection which changes regularly. Food is simple but a very good selection and is always tasty and plentiful. Finally it's run by a proper landlord and landlady who care about their community. If Carlsberg did a local it would be this one

Another place Google thinks I was but never been, righty let's see what kind of review I can wangle up this time... Stanley was an awesome Paralympian! Wheelchair sprinter, one of those trike things that pulls wheelies. Stanley lost his legs parachuting over Berlin with a 1000lb bomb strapped to his back which was stupid when a parachute would've been better. He dropped to the ground like a lead weight, literally, at over 100mph head first in to a haystack. The haystack was covering a tank which gave him quite a headache. The bomb rolled off his back and over his legs squishing them to over hundred foot long. Stanley said that hurt a bit but not as much as the abuse the Germans threw at him for messing up their haystack camouflage, German words are very long and hurts the brain. Back in blighty legless Stanley opened a pub. With a few Olympics behind him his arms were humongous and that's what his pub was named, after him and his huge arms. Seems brown coloured beer around the 4% score is popular to drink with pizza in this pub. I do hate people photographing their food, just why, seriously, don't. There is a picture of Stanley behind the bar, ask the staff to point it out.

Service above and beyond the call of duty last night. Would recommend it every time.

Went here today 11 of us as a family for breakfast.the food was served delicious and piping hot.the prices are incredible and staff so friendly.i would recommend this pub to anyone

Very pleasant after hockey tea courtesy Fylde HC. Tucked away in a corner of Wesham that you don't notice unless you're sent. Meal was excellent for a hockey tea.

Thought it was a pub not a business centre.
