Lovely cafe .Went with seven freind they made us so welcome some had Amazing sandwiches .I had fresh home made warm scone with cream and jam pot of tea .This cafe is dog freindly sells doggy ice cream .Will definitely call again next time I'm in the area !!!

Visited for coffee and a snack. It was quite busy but there were empty tables so we chose to sit outside. After ordering but before receiving our drinks some, what we assume were friends of the server arrived, and indicated that they wanted to sit outside.The server rather rudely pointed at us and said that as we weren’t eating we wouldn’t be long, which we found slightly bizarre but did our best to ignore and put down to immaturity and lack of experience. After finishing we got ready to leave , friends had been seated outside so we were feeling slightly less uncomfortable by this time. I paid by contactless, which another server indicated had gone through and so I left the counter to return to my table and collect my bags. My wife was still seated at this point and we weren’t rushing off. The original server screamed at us from the door to stop, also getting the attention of several other people. She then shouted that we needed to pay. I thought the misunderstanding was because I had paid someone else, at which point the information that my card had declined was shared with everyone, both seated and passing. I went back inside and explained that the card seemed to have gone through but was met with the repeated accusation I had not paid. I tried to check my banking app but it wasn’t showing any payment at this time. My wife then insisted on providing another card which also took a long time to go through. I asked that the card machine remained in our view until we had all agreed it had been approved. I had to repeat this request three times as staff kept trying to take it away to serve others. Needless to say the payment was taken off both cards and I have been unable to meet the required standard of proof to receive a refund.

A lovely lunch, welcomed with our dogs. Couldn't have been better. We will certainly be back. Thank you

Our favourite cafe, all the staff are lovely and welcoming and make such a fuss of our Dalmatian Milo, he runs down the street when we are in Lytham and knows exactly where we are going! Today we both said we had the best soup we had ever tasted , the cheesy leek, delicious. We go to a lot of dog friendly establishments around where we live ,and in lytham, the lakes, Yorkshire etc but this is truly the most dog and human friendly and definitely the best hands down , we have never had anything but excellent food and service here

Fantastic cafe that is dog friendly, had a full English breakfast which in my view is the best in Lytham and such friendly staff.

Our ‘go to’ place for guaranteed quality food and service. Our dog always gets the biggest welcome and treats (humans are tolerated lol) Such friendly and welcoming staff. Service is excellent and food amazing (try the bacon barm cake; I challenge any establishment to better it …….i know I have tried many over the years and this is by far the best). Stopped for a coffee after reading reviews for gluten free and wasn't disappointed . The ladies in there were lovely and helpful with giving different options but went with my original choice ginger and lemon cake and it was delicious !!

We visited with our two dogs on a cold wet weekend morning. The ladies were welcoming the cafe was warm and breakfast was lovely. They made the dogs feel welcome and gave them a sausage too. Will definitely go back. A little gem of a cafe.

Food was spot on,service was very polite and friendly.Our dog loved her treats.We sat outside in a lovely sunny spot and one thing that we liked about the cafe was there was a no smoking policy outside,nothing worse when your eating and you get a mouthful of cigarette smoke.

A lovely friendly clean dog friendly cafe Staff we’re very welcoming and there was plenty of food options available We both enjoyed our soup and toastie which we had to follow with a gorgeous price of squishy chocolate cake .Our two Frenchies were also made welcome and were each given a treat .

100% recommend this cafe. We went for afternoon tea to celebrate our puppies first birthday. All of the staff were incredibly sweet and the food was amazing. We will definitely be coming back.

Me and my chihuahua called in on a cold and wet day in December ‘22. I had bacon and egg with gluten-free toast and a Mocha. It was excellent. My dog had a few small bits of sausage and bacon and he also loved them. Another dog was in but there was no arguing. It’s great to have a café that takes gluten-free dining seriously. I believe the owner is ‘gluten-free’ so that would explain why.

Discovered this lovely eatery only this afternoon,Easter Sunday.we didn't try the food as it was very near their closing time. We were however able to sit at a table just outside and sample their hot drinks, we chose latte and a hot chocolate,both of which were delicious! The food looked excellent and the menu varied, we both look forward to returning again soon and trying some. Besides the cleanliness of any cafe / bistro that I go into I always look out for 'service' with a smile and happy,courteous staff and Bijou of Lytham certainly excelled on all points( and I'm very particular my husband would say very fussy!!). It's so lovely to discover excellent places and this one certainly is, we were made most welcome and it helped complete yet another lovely trip to Lytham. Carol and Alan G

Fantastic dog friendly and human friendly coffee shop, this is our absolute favourite place to visit for food and doggie sausages in Lytham. The food is always amazing, extremely tasty and homemade! I also can not fault the very yummy homemade cakes, which are irresistible.

Don't really know much about the place only called him for a quick drink but was quite friendly so I thought it was a bit dear the food and the drinks but plenty of choice

So nice here! Lovely atmosphere for us and our cocker spaniel. He had a trio of muffins and we had a tea sat in the lovely seating area outside. At Anne’s is a lovely town and we thoroughly enjoyed our day. Bijou was a highlight!

First time visit with friend for coffee and cake. I had a lovely gluten free scone, jam and clotted cream and my friend enjoyed a light and lovely lemon cake. The staff were lovely and friendly and when we left we felt we had enjoyed our visit and will definitely return. Lovely decor and atmosphere.

Quite disappointed with the service of one of the staff members (I think the owner!). Not particularly friendly or helpful. Brand themselves as ‘dog friendly’. ‘Owner’ not interested at all and quite off hand. The younger member of staff then came out and was then wonderful and really interested in my dog and wanting to take a photo for their social media. Great food and lovely spot. Just a shame about the member of staff. This has happened twice.

This is by far the best cafe/eatery we visited in the area, the food was great all homemade with a lovely choice of cake, the staff very friendly and helpful nothing was to much for them, very very dog friendly in the true sense of the word they even have a choice of doggy breakfast, brilliant place !!! Long may they trade successfully, we need more places like this we are after all a nation of dog lovers x

How would I describe Bijou of Lytham?? Simply perfect! We made the 70 miles round trip from Bolton with the main reason of visiting Bijou and it was well worth every second. Nina and the team are always so pleased to see everyone including our four legged friends. It’s so nice to visit a food establishment that allows dogs and also has delicious food. They even have a dog menu!! Our visit this time was slightly different due to the coronavirus pandemic but Bijou had the social distancing rules observed perfectly, the layout was well organised and as always everything was spotlessly clean. We was spoilt for choice of what to pick from the menu. I’m vegetarian and often am left disappointed with the choice (or lack of) of vegetarian options. I can’t leave a review without mentioning Ninas heavenly cakes. Highly recommended and absolutely delicious. We will be back very soon.

We visited today with our cockapoo Connie, food delicious, all staff came out to meet our puppy. Everyone was lovely.

Can not rate this place high enough. Went last week for the first time and already been back again. My puppy loved all the attention he got as well as having his own menu. Staff are incredibly friendly and was asking when my lil one was due (32 weeks pregnant ftm). I have not stopped telling everyone I know about this cafe. Food is amazing too and reasonably priced.

Sadly, we found a rude and unwelcoming attitude. Ten of us entered, half planning to eat meals and half wanting coffee and scones. After the first order, the owner asked us to leave, saying she didn’t want us taking up three tables if we weren’t having meals. She didn’t wait to hear if others were eating. Felt it was an unprofessional and disrespectful attitude to customers.

Ten of us went in for some food and drink and occupied three small tables. Two decided not to eat and went to the counter and ordered just coffee. They were duly advised we were all taking up three tables for coffee and it wasn't fair. Eight of us were ready to order food but due to her rude, assuming manner we decided to go to another establishment for lunch.Sadly for this place her rudeness ensured a loss of business and we will notbe visiting again

Beautiful little cafe at the quieter end of the road, parking outside, we had soup and roll which was delicious, and lemon drizzle cake, superb. Highly recommended.

We turned up unannounced and were treated like royalty. Beautiful hot hot hot chocolate and treats for the amigos. We sat outside on a beautiful sunny day and couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome. A real jewel in Leafy Lytham 🐕🐶🐶

Had lunch today with my mum and our dog...always see lots of lovely pics of food and service on FB so was disappointed with the food for the price. We had to go ask for menus and if they could take our order...staff were standing around talking...not what I thought it was going to be

Bijou makes great play of being dog friendly, which it is, in fact it was voted 11th best dog friendly cafe in the whole of the UK. But it is also very human friendly, I always feel welcome there. Today I enjoyed a lovely slice of home made cake and one of the best decaffeinated cappuccinos in Lytham.

We go here a lot. Terrific food, friendly service and you can bring your dog in. Steak ciabatta recommended. Also they do food and treats for you dog. A sausage for £1 keeps them happy and well behaved!

Lovely cosy setting and was greeted very warmly by the owner and her daughter upon entering. Lots of well behaved doggies, must have counted about 5. We found one of the last tables and ordered a delicious steak ciabatta with freshly cooked chips and gammon and eggs. Doggie biscuits and a select doggie Menu for the furry children also provided. Would come here again if ever in Lytham St Annes again

We chose Bijou of Lytham for a special birthday breakfast - my dog Cooper's 2nd birthday. Myself. my daughter, grandchildren and Cooper all got stuck into our hearty cooked breakfasts (Cooper's being a bowl of black pudding).

We really enjoyed the food here.. freshly made and the best cakes. Excellent choice for everyone.

Me and the hubby had a fantastic meal here today and we were served very quickly and the quality was top notch. Ordered the Welsh rarebit (although the hubby did think that it was a soup...) and the bacon on was stunning. We caused a bit of a stir though because we think we were a bit loud for others (although nobody complained). We are 38 and 27 and were acting like we were 12! We will definitely be back in a few days time for more. Thanks to all the staff and customers that put up with us!
