I have eaten there a few times now. Staff are always polite and attentive. The meals always presented really nice and always look and taste delicious. I have never had any problems with my meals so much so I look forward to trying some of the other meals offered on their new menu.

We went for Weekday Roast and we were blown away! Both had beef and it was so tender and tasty! The staff are so welcoming and the restaurant is beautiful! The food was amazing - everything was so fresh! We will be coming back every week!

A very pleasant experience - and easy. Booked and confirmed online. Nicole greeted, seated and looked after the 6 of us. The roast dinners were really nice and there were a couple of veggie options. I took a birthday cake which Nicole looked after and brought out with candles lit at the appropriate time .. and sang! 😁 I couldn’t fault the experience in any way and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the place. Just for information a 7.5% service charge is added to the bill but there is no issue with removing it on request. This was actually less than I probably would have left had there been nothing added on so I had no problem with it.

Fantastic rooms. Great staff. Next to local attractions and a ferry ride to Liverpool.

Food was cold and when I say cold it was like the Arctic Ocean but I did wait a bit long but only 1 min before chomping but pretty nice design I like it's like a hotel.

I wasn't impressed when I called in for Sunday lunch. I called to check if I had to book. Was told it was £8 for a small Sunday. I got there and it was around £12, no small option. I went for a steak and Ale pie instead. Service at the bar wasn't the most professional. It was a lazy version of a steak pie. A stew with a puff pastry lid. Not a Propper homemade pie. The broccoli was under not hot, barely warm. The chips where undercooked. There was no decent real ale so I had a glass of wine which was around £8 for one glass. They also allowed dogs in which I don't mind but not in tbe dinning areas where one jumped up at me while eating. The staff where less than interested when I mentioned my wasn't the best. I won't be giving them a second chance.

Amazing place with a great a open mic every wednesday night and very nice welcoming bar staff.
