Standard wetherspoon pub, lots of food and drink choices available with prices to suit all pockets, it gets stupidly busy at certain times of the day...it's family friendly...but Sometimes not lol, as wetherspoons being a cheaper pub chain it attracts people who drink a lot...otherwise on the whole a great for cheap drinks and food deals...

Exactly the same as all the other wetherspoons, the food isn't really cooked.

My food was cold,wine undrinkable.

Went for breakfast, ordered 2 large, got served 1 large & 1 regular due to staff incompetence taking the order! Both breakfasts were cold upon arrival. 2 menus on the table showed different prices for the same thing. Got money back and walked out, never to visit again. STAY AWAY.

Wetherspoons pub with great outside seating & views.

What an absolute lovely place , right by the river , alot nicer than our local weatherspoons . They just need to allow dogs now :) x

Food was 5 stars as the packet of quavers i ordered was banging as was the thatchers blood orange cider (le bosh)

Was clean and tidy. Not busy when we visited. Only had drinks. Bar service was quick.

Great pub, plenty of new people to meet. All very friendly.

Popped in for a quick bite to eat, early evening. Friendly staff, food took acceptable time and was good quality. Pub was fairly busy but got served quickly.

Fantastic pub on the beautiful Lincoln Wharf. One of the best Wetherspoon pubs that we have visited. Great atmosphere, prices and outdoor seating. Recommended.

I had a nice few drinks at the sailors square. Coben provided great customer service to the whole table, definitely made me want to return. Personally believe he should get a raise. The manager however, not so much, if anything they should get demoted. Rude, rude person who made me never want to return to this Wetherspoons. You have just LOST a customer mr manager and it’s ALL YOUR FAULT. I will miss Coben a lot for his great service. Edit: the manager is RUDE. He’s very rude and doesn’t care about guest satisfaction. So glad coben got out of this place. He seems rude as hell and I think all staff members secretly HATE him. He is a rude rude man and I felt shamed by simply ordering a drink.

Waited over 10 minutes for drinks to be delivered, they were made then just left sitting on thr bar.

An extremely busy place, but the staff worked well, shortage of staff clearing the tables due to the volume of patrons. But the food was good and hot with a nice selection of different ales.

Just like any other weather spoons. All good.

We had a lovely drink but we didn't have food

This spoons seemed very food centric,the staff were exceptional and kind I enjoyed well served cider and would recommend highly, views on the canal basin are excellent

This was my first night out after turning 18 and the experience was awful. At the beginning the place was amazing, loud and happy but then it started going down hill when my boyfriend ordered a tequila rose, the waiter came with 3 drinks stating the same name as we ordered, they looked different than experienced and more watery but because we don’t drink much and honestly have no idea what some drinks look like and alcohol names are so diverse (and we really aren’t ones to complain to management especially when a location is busy). We had a sip of the drink and realised it’s not our drink, but once again we aren’t ones to complain, by that time the management came up to us and told us that we have to pay for the drinks because we ‘knew it wasn’t our’, and when trying to explain the situation met with the same excuse. £13 is a lot of money especially for a university student ESPECIALLY when you aren’t expecting that high of a charge. I know that both sides have their wrongs but the way it was handled wasn’t nice. (Also didn’t try the food so can’t review it)

Very busy this lunch time but food came out fast and was good

Very busy on my visit on a Saturday afternoon, possibly enhanced with the other spoons closed for a refurb. I tried a guest ale and ordered it. No seats available inside, upstairs or outside, but it wasn't a problem as i was enjoying the atmosphere. Will return in a few weeks and order off the menu.

Excellent good food great beer extremely good staff .

It's a Wetherspoons, so you get what you pay for.. Update March 2023: Service has vastly improved on previous visits and the ales were in good form. And, this gains them an upgrade from 3 to 4 stars. Sept2024: Don't use CAMRA real ale vouchers on a Monday as you won't get the full 50p off.

Busy Saturday afternoon but managed to find a table. Good pint of Guinness. Went back Sunday evening for a couple of G&Ts.

The food was lovely and very friendly

App for ordering food is awful, staff are brilliant. Just go to the bar and order, quick, simple efficient.

It is very well priced for food and drink, and good food served to all, food came very quickly to us, I will return to it again if I get the opportunity.

Sadly we had to leave early due to the intensely cold in this pub. Such a shame as everything else is really good.

We popped in here for a drink whilst staying in Lincoln on a Sunday night. We were disappointed to find that the usual standards we have become a custom to were slightly below the mark. We went in and tried to find a table, there were many vacant tables, however, none seemed to be clear from the previous customers with empty glasses or plates present on the empty tables. Note, I didn't look upstairs for an empty table, so this might have been a bit better. We moved some of the used plates and glasses to another table and placed a drink order. There was no cider available at all, and a lot of other drinks were also unavailable too. We placed our ordyon the app and we had a long wait for our drinks, it must've been about 10 minutes. Note that the place wasn't that busy, I had expected a faster service. I appreciate that it was a Sunday night and there may have not been a lot of staff on, but I did expect a little better service. The place itself seems nice, and if the service was a bit better, we would've stayed for food. I hope to visit again and have a better experience.

Had a nice curry with naan and poppadom and beer. Busy place.

I returned my pint of what was supposed to be Stella as it tasted completely different to the one I'd just had in the Ritz.. the second they gave me (foc) was just as bad.. I've never been disappointed enough before to complain at the bar.. I left the free pint on the table and left unhappy.. neither drink was in the correct Stella glass and I've been told that this makes a difference 🤔

Had heard negative reports about this place recently but was pleasantly surprised, had a really pleasant experience.

Eaten three times here while on holiday in Lincoln. Very good value for money. Where will you get a starter and two mains with an alcoholic drink each for £30? Easy app to use and service was always good, no matter how busy they were. Quality of the food was amazing and portion sizes are good. Would recommend to anyone.

Over looking the river to the south, it's set in the new builds. Had meals from all over the country, there worth having. Nice meal, good service. Will come again, thank you. New trip on bike to here, lovely day in sunshine.

Got to this venue at 10am looking forward to breakfast only to be told they couldn't do breakfasts because of broken equipment Car parking was a nightmare in the car park which had absolutely no clear signage for what disabled people were supposed to pay one sign said pay for 1 hour and park for 2 the machine just said you have to pay but no information

popped in for a reasonably priced pint before a gig.

Pants. My order came and I had the all day breakfast but found that I had no bacon. We informed the waitress and she was polite and said that she would sort it. 20 mins later nothing. I know some people would say I am just moaning but I paid for it.

Went here to meet my husband and his work colleagues for a few drinks staff were friendly and the atmosphere was really good here. Definitely recommend it as a chilled place to go

Popped in for a quick drink, really good value but they do need to clear the tables of dirty plates and glasses quicker.

Ordered sausage mash. Sausage lovely and hot, If of the quality to the price paid. Mash cold peas cold food safety issue.

Usual Spoons. Dark. Dingy. Depressing. Not enough staff to cover a very busy pub. But the 2 or so staff were lovely and helpful

First time visiting after visiting another Wetherspoons and was top class. Food was great value and tasty. There is not much atmosphere to the place, but we did have an early evening meal. The biggest problem was we really fancied a dessert, only to find there were only two available. Both were acceptable with ice cream, but there was none.

We had a very reasonably priced , delicious breakfast served quickly sat outside in the sunshine, which overlooks the Wharfe. I had a vegetarian breakfast. There are vegan options too. The coffee refills are amazing value! It was pleasantly busy with a good atmosphere on a Sunday morning. I used the disabled toilet facilities, which were clean/well maintained. The entrance is on a level and well accessible. The staff were discreet and professional. We enjoyed our relaxing time there. It's a good 'Spoons in our experience.

I have been here 3 times and it has been busy each time but it has been a weekend I can't say about week days but I imagine it will still be busy. The last time I was there was really busy as it was raining I think people were going in to avoid getting wet.

Popped in with a team of folks from work. Probably been a couple of years at least since I was in and all was good. Guinness. Numerous of. Kept going back for more. Quite acceptable.

Just had the pasta Alfredo and was very disappointed with the size of the meal . The kids meal my son had was twice as big . I asked at the till if that was the real size portion and was told it comes in a packet that size . The cost was just under £10 . Complete rip off .

Lovely place to have a meal. I had jacket potato with non carne, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Lovely, pleasant staff. If in Lincoln again, will definitely visit again

Nice enough spoons on the waterfront. Small ish inside (for a spoons) didn’t seem to be a lot of tvs showing the euros. Could only see one (just about) downstairs facing the bar. Would return if ever in the area.

Really enjoyed my meal which was good value for money. Service was brilliant and friendly.

Bar staff very slow ,nobody appeared to working. Just chatting themselves! One lady who was serving food and waiting on tables was a star and did not stop working and deserves a bonus.

Went to weatherspoons with my sister , as always had the lovely fish & chips but when arrived my sisters meal looked tasty, but unfortunately looked down at mine to bathered fish bones with no fish !? Asked the guy over explained to him and of coarse he changed it but I am still waiting for apology , my regret I didn't take a picture because you would have to see it to believe it ! I would recommend fish & chips at your establishment but without the bones

We only went for drinks with friends this time but have previously had food here which was pretty cheap but nice too.

A lovely place to go eat, the staff are so friendly and welcoming, we had the roman noodle bowel and it was beautiful, the restaurant was very loud though.

Don't allow a small dog even in beer garden! How behind times? Lost our custom.

Unfortunately whilst some staff seem engaged the majority could not care less. Having waited over 20 minuets for a drinks order I was rudely rebuffed when going up to query the delay. I like spoons but would avoid the square sails in Lincoln

Food and drinks came quick, server was very helpful. Place was full in the afternoon but still very fast service! Only down side was my husband got wet on the way out past the stairs as someone upstairs spilled their drink over the stairwell.

A more modern 'spoons right by the water near to the city centre. Seems pleasant enough, although the food was a bit lacking. Steak Tuesday, meat was nice and cooked properly, but the sides were pretty poor, peas were cold, grilled tomato was rock hard and the sauce was thick enough to repair potholes. A bit disappointing really...
