Rude staff, when a problem was raised staff replied "what are you going to do, cry about it?" Whilst this is quite funny, it is rather unprofessional

This is a really strange review so here goes 🆗 unfortunately last night I found myself in a really uncomfortable situation with a clearly high as a kite man and I was really genuinely uncomfortable as he targeted my girlfriend , The Doorman to your venue read the situation and in a nutshell stepped in and saved the day , I cannot thank them enough as I was out of my depth , please pass on my sincere thanks 💯

had the best time here, staff were so lovely and accommodating would 100% recommend!! games were very well priced we had so much fun

Ate here with my husband and two sons. I had the pulled pork and it was so tasteless. My husband had the pulled chicken ciabatta and it was dry and tasteless. The burger was OK and the pizza topped fries were fine for the children. No staff came to see us to check on us and the place was nearly empty. Really disappointing and would not return or recommend.

Fabulous family or group venue food was very good and the cocktails were fab.

First time here and really impressed. Clean, great atmosphere and lovely food.

Quirky and cool this place has all the fun of the fair. Its a themed pub and eatery selling a wide range of not so common beers and spirits. The food is very varied and fast - not gastro food but good non the less. We had lunch - it was great and at a good value price.

Had a mixed meat grill and chips with pitta. This was from the low and slow option which conssited mixture of pulled chicken, pork and beef. , The food took ages to come out and it was cold chicken was tough and very chewy... my only guess it could have been sitting waiting to come out... forgotten about and them remembered! I tried my partners pizza too and that had no taste to it and it was cold. Made the bar staff aware of this, no discount off the bill or anything done to make up... I guess from their point of view business is business but neglect the customers. Drinks prices are horrendous and probably are most expensive in lincoln with the exception of home nightclub. Games are decent although the price for tokens isn't very good, £5 gets you 4 tokens which really should 5 or more. The time on games is short, I been to better arcade bars else where that are far better value for money in terms of game/token prices and value on food/drink. Although the arcade side of it makes it a unique venue to others in lincoln, I think there are better places to go to with the exception of the mailbox and home nightclub.

Was looking for something fun to do with the children during half term and came across The Carousel. We spent all afternoon here and really enjoyed it. We played darts, had a meal, played in the arcade and then finished with the quickdraw shooting simulator. The staff was really lovely and helpful. Food was lovely. Had a small issue, which the manager rectified straight away. Would definitely visit again.

Not sure I've had the full experience, but I've visited twice. Once just for drinks and a dance, second time we played some games upstairs. Nice place to go, something a little bit different. Good variety of games in the upstairs bit (not sure what's downstairs). Cocktail menu looked amazing 🤩 but I'm designated driver so didn't get to try. Friendly staff including security. Will definitely visit again

The food was incredible and the service was amazing. The drinks are lovely and the experience is heightened by the amazing staff that are so kind. Nakaya, Joe, Luke were on the bar massive shout out. Would come again.

Came for 50% off good deal. Would’ve been disappointed if we had paid full price. Food arrived lukewarm, fries were cold. Staff on bar seemed nice but food just wasn’t great. Came for a nice meal and got sat next to a loud group of people drinking. Thought there might have been a separate area for people eating / drinking. Wouldn’t come back for food. But bar area / arcade area seemed great

As a parry of 14 we expected a little wait for food as it was busy .the first pizza arrived after about 30 minutes. The 2nd plate of food came 25 minutes after that first pizza all in all from the first pizza to the last meal arriving we waited 1.hour 30 mins .everyone had eaten b4 the last meal arrived we complained and was met by a bar girl who blatantly showed no interest in our comments she was really rude and flippant.food was excellent value but .coleslaw was awful fries were over cooked no cheese on the fries ,condiments were empty ..overall an awfull experience such a shame.

Came around 5pm on Sunday and had the Sunday dinner and drink offer for £10. Very tasty and excellent value. Nice atmosphere, friendly helpful staff.

I came on my birthday with friends, I had made a booking before hand. We ordered separately but by the time I tried to place my order (30 seconds after my friends placed there’s), they decided to close the kitchen because they were too busy. I understand that it can be difficult keeping up with customer demands, having worked in hospitality, but I was very sad that I was the only one not to get a meal on my birthday- and i wasn’t allowed my free drink from their birthday deal because they were understaffed? They did give me some free tokens, but we didn’t really go for the arcade.

The place has an interesting vibe but does give a feel its more for the coctails and partying than having an interesting meal. Food arrived surprisingly quickly. If I was to pay full price for what we were served, I would be disappointed and it would not be a good value at all. The food was bland, bao buns hard - stale or not warmed up properly. Those who ate pulled pork complained of not feeling great. Coctails were ok. Service was fine. Kids got a free game. Food below expectations.

We didn't eat but had drinks- which were all served promptly in clean glasses. Staff all excellent couldn't have been more helpful. Activities excellent value for money and again staff explained well and we're on hand if any issues. Great afternoon out for a family.

Had food and it was terrible. It was a 45 minute wait (wasn't busy) and when the food came it was cold. The portions were modest, unimaginative and tasteless. The service was alright though.

Fun venue, but £5.75 for a pint is utterly insane. Better off drinking literally anywhere else and just coming in for the arcade. £5.75! It's Lincoln and a basic on-tap pilsner, not a microbrewery in London. Nearly £6 for a pint....

A party of 18 visited today, 9 children and 9 adults. Food was amazing, service was great and all children loved the food and games! Thank you for a great afternoon

We booked a buffet as a staff Christmas party, we paid £16.95 each for a plate the size of a saucer. There wasn’t enough food to go up again, far too expensive for what it was considering I could have gotten a proper meal for less at the same place and I would have been full. Most people left to get an actual meal in addition to the portion that could have been a large starter.

Went here for a works Christmas party last night and it was shocking. They was so busy i don't think the new what they was doing. There was nothing Christmasy about the tables. They totally forgot to get our mince pies. Trying to get a drink took about 30 mins. Safe to say won't be going there again

Called in on Saturday 2nd Dec early afternoon. Good service at bar however I think its expensive

Booked our works Xmas doo/party and the customer service was fab from start to finish. I had to make lots of changes, right up to the day of the actual booking and they were so kind and patient. We were seated as soon as we arrived and were offered drinks straight away. They even gave us a couple of complimentary mocktails. We had the Xmas buffet and game package, the food was tasty and the games were so much fun. Laughed so much and was a great bonding day. Would recommend and will definitely return in the future.

Had an amazing Work Christmas Party here. I was lucky enough to win a competition they had posted and we had the most amazing time! The cocktails were a huge hit and very unique! We all loved the food and the arcade games upstairs were great! Hope to be back again in the future!

Great atmosphere and good range of drinks, something for everyone. Added bit of fun while having a drink with Air Hockey and Basketball games upstairs.

So much fun in the arcade and the music and atmosphere are great, but the drinks are a bit overpriced.

Alicia and Illana were great and friendly, helped out when asked!! Always come here when wanting a fun night out! Deffo coming back and would recommend!

Games machines are a scam. An air hockey machine was turned on, seemingly fully functional. Put in 3 tokens (4 tokens cost £5) and nothing. Went to staff and was given 1 token back, and informed that the machine is not functional? Why not turn it off then?

Great place, very lively, lots of space and an arcade on the top floor. Plenty of alcohol to choose from with friends and quick service. We went in for a stag due, enjoyed ourselves in here and the drinks were priced reasonably.

Me and my girlfriend came for the night for something to eat as we had 50 percent off from the freshers fayre and I can honestly say the food was AMAZING

Really enjoyable meal, tasty, service was brill, cocktails were quickly made and they even apologised for the wait even though there was hardly any! Would definitely return x

Booked here for lunch. Was greeted and sat swiftly, explained the deals well. I had the beef pimento on flatbread which was just lovely! We also had the kinder surprise cocktail which was lush and the cookie skillet which was also delicious. Would highly recommend

A much younger couple took my wife and I, who are definitely in the 'senior' category for a game of 'Shuffleboard' at this simply delightful venue. It was very busy on a Saturday afternoon, but the atmosphere was simply superb. Bar staff and assistants were extreemly helpful, and after we played several Shuffleboard games, (which had been ordered in advance) we ventured to the upstairs games arena. Just wonderful, and with the tokens we purchased from the bar, we had a really enjoyable time on various machines, and thoroughly took ourselves back to our youth. So, of course this venue is aimed and marketed at a much younger customer base, but we had a really good time. Bar staff were lovely, and the atmosphere in the whole venue was a delight. Just excellent.

Unable to comment on food. Great atmosphere, fun to spend a few hours with friends. Token price has increased (now £1.25), so some games better value than others

Really enjoyable day with family - nice food and some arcade like after entertainment for the kids. Later in the afternoon/into the evening, it becomes an adult playground for the revellers in town.

I won a voucher of £50 and alannah looked after me she was absolutely fantastic so accomadating could not rate her enough

Took my grandson to do the the shooting alley , good price for 1&1/2 hours entertainment he loved it then went on some arcades after , did pay for rifle and pistol but only got two pistols , so bit confused but nevertheless , grandson enjoyed

Had a really bad cocktail from the bar, spoke to the bar person did not know the correct ingredients in the drink or had these at the bar obviously not been trained and could not make a drink to my taste, so many other bars around world have made it better than this one

After seeing the promos for this venue made the effort to go and visit, it was a Friday late afternoon and maybe 3 other people in there, but went to order drinks and barman saw me but carried on tidying paperwork on the back of the bar, then looked, sighed and came to me, obviously his job is a chore... Anyway sat had our drinks and went to look for the arcade full of classic and new machines..... What a let down, not many machines and nothing classic, so short visit, it's basicly a students pub crawl venue

Lollipop chicken was awful. Seemed chewy, no flavour at all. Really disappointing. Beef bun was better, but the bun itself was a bit dry. What sounded like a nice menu was pretty rubbish! Even the slushie wasn't frozen enough and shouldn't have been sold.

Stinks like. Very pongy. Feel sick and pints terrible.

Just wanted lunch and wandered up and down looking at menus. Spotted the vegan flatbread. So in I came. Fabulous staff and not only was the flatbread delicious, I hadn't realised they have some specials on Mon to Fri lunch time. So my side order of chips and coffee were included in the price of the flatbread. Definitely will come again

I've came here several times and it's a great evening out. The food and drink are great, with plenty of choice and a good range of cocktails. The 'arcade experience' is fun, with a good selection of games (more would be good!). Would definitely recommend a visit.

Good bar with friendly staff. Wide range of drinks and a food menu. There are also a number of entertainment areas where you can play darts, pool, arcade machines and virtual shooting.

I made a booking for my birthday from 10pm-1am. When we got there no one greeted us at the desk to our table even though the place wasn’t crowded, so we went up to the bar. When I told the lady at the bar that we had a booking she replied in quite a rude manner just “okay…” as if they had no idea we booked when we’d even rang 10 minutes previously informing we’d be running a few minutes late. I explained it was a birthday booking and she said that i couldn’t get any of the free tokens that come with the booking because i hadn’t ordered food and couldn’t as it was past the time. But the website allowed me to book at 10pm so why wouldn’t i be allowed? I knew already about the food but i thought we could at least get the tokens. We’d ended up getting some drinks and tokens anyway because we had no where else we’d organised to go. At about 11pm we’d gone to get more tokens to where we were told last orders had already been taken, but we’d booked until 1am and online says it shuts at 1am. It just made me feel embarrassed and a little humiliated the way i was spoken to on my birthday to the point I left really upset cause it was the only plans I had organised for me and my boyfriend. It wasn’t a good experience and overall ruined my birthday. I wouldn’t recommend because honestly i don’t think they know themselves when they close. It’s like the employees just pick whenever they can be bothered to work because we’d been there on a Thursday before and they shut at 12:30am. So I don’t understand the difference. Don’t advertise you’re open u til 1am or give booking a until 1am if you’re not open until that time. Just really aggravating.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, great range of drinks especially cocktails. Would highly recommend the 'Cheeky Friday' shot, which is a 75% spiced rum The arcade upstairs is a nice addition and provides a bit of variety when having a few drinks

Visited in the afternoon but it's very dark inside the place. Barely any light. The amusements upstairs look boring & the gimmick doesn't work for me. Didn't try cocktails or food so it's 3 stars from us.

Booked for my birthday for a meal and drinks with friends, staff were all very friendly, food arrived quickly and was very nice. The cocktails look incredible, got some free tokens to use in the arcade which was alot of fun.

We didn't eat but the price's looked very good the food we saw coming out looked good unfortunately we'd already eaten the beer price was reasonable for a city pub £3.50 for a pint of Carling the only downside was we weren't sure of how much the games and photo booth cost it seemed to be tokens but nothing to say how much they would cost a price list would of been nice there was only 2 staff on and they were busy

Good atmosphere, decent price for a drink. When you request a song the dj actually plays it too!

The service was good and fairly quick as the place had lots of staff. Staff were proactively collecting glasses off tables as soon as people left. The atmosphere was lovely too and we all loved the bumper car - its a very photogenic place. Drinks looked amazing and again, very photogenic- they just didn’t taste very nice which was a shame at £8/£9 a cocktail.

Food and drink fairly good. And reasonably priced for what it is. Staff seems friendly. Friend wanted to try some of the games and machines upstairs, although idea seems fun, it was disappointing as the machines weren't maintained. Two out of order, plus four others were faulty.

A charming and overall fun experience. I liked the design and games on the upper floors. Their was a great choice of drinks plus good music. Would go again the next time I'm in Lincoln.

Food was fine, although I was told the burgers were pretty dry. The drinks were very good. The service wasn't great though. We had booked a table and there was a sign at the entrance, telling us to wait to be seated however, no one came to us despite it being very, very quiet. We ended up going to the bar to tell the bar staff who were talking amongst themselves that we had arrived and had a booking. The games they have are okay, although a few were not working. They didn't have as many as we were hoping for. If I could give 2.5 stars I probably would.

Cheap and cheerful fun - the upstairs arcade has a lot of modern games.

The addition of the games section up stairs adds a nice touch to the Lincoln pub scene. The drinks are priced reasonably and there's enough space for everyone. The music is slightly too loud if you want to talk to one another

Had a great night out and stumbled into this bar and found it very welcoming the bar staff were friendly and the door staff were very good too.

Arcarde games are fun, music is ok, and drinks are as expected. Can't say much for the food, we went there as a group of 15 for a £15 Christmas dinner and got a table that was too small and a tiny buffet with the only memorable item being a tiny brownie piece. Would not recommend.
