They serve the best shortbread I've ever eaten.

After waiting nearly 1 hour for food even though we were 1st in and ordered our food, people got served b4 us travelled 15 miles for that service won't be going back

Really nice pub, great atmosphere, good selection on beers on tap. Monday night is quiz night and it's always great fun. Love music most weekends and the Sunday roast is sublime! Honestly one of the best pubs in town.

My wife and I had lunch here whilst visiting relatives in Petersfield. We found the food and service exemplary, I am afraid I did not get the young man's name who served us at lunchtime on Tuesday 27th February 2024, but he really needs a special mention, he was attentive, engaging and caring and was a real credit to the establishment. We will definitely re visit when we are next in Petersfield.

Great Pint and great service best pub in Petersfield!

The bar area is quite small and they had a band playing so it was quite cramped. Staff were very friendly and quick to serve.

Recently we had our wedding reception here, the management and staff were brilliant. From the moment we booked nothing was too much trouble. We had both daytime and evening buffets. The food was beautifully presented, fresh, plentiful, tasty and good value for money. Whether you just fancy lunch or have an event to organise we would 100% encourage you to consider the Square Brewery.

Great time at the Square Brewery, hog Roast a few beers & watch the world go by at the Petersfield spring festival.

Lovely spot right in town centre and over looking the square where we have our markets. They serve brilliant toasted sandwiches along with a fairly wide array of food and my personal favourite the burgers. One of the top end pubs of Petersfield with reasonable prices and a great environment. Very involved in the community and this is very evident in the staffs knowledge of customers and town.

I went to listen to a Flamenco guitarist Omar Rios Meléndez with his jazz band the Groove Surgeons. Lovely atmosphere!

We went in for a coffee & cake mid morning, very nice. Friendly staff, will go back when we're in Petersfield again

We went on Friday night. Plenty of people but not too crowded. Nice pub, friendly service, some nice traditional beers, and fabulous live music (young guy with a great voice). Lush night out to catch up with friends in a chilled atmosphere.

Absolutely brilliant evening at the Square Brewery. I haven't been back there since the start of the 80's, yes it has changed, but it still has the lively vibe that it had back then.

This is a lovely quaint village pub that makes you feel welcomed and friendly staff, but I think it is closed down at the minute, I'm not sure why but I will try to find out and keep you posted. Update they are bow open after refurbishment and looks lovely would recommend for lunch or afternonoon 🍸 👍

Played in a band here on New year's Eve, my first time at the pub. Really nice place with a good crowd, friendly staff and great atmosphere.

Pleasant place, right in the centre of Petersfield. Drinks and food. Often offers Live music, but lots of other activities on throughout December. Felt friendly.

We called in here for hot chocolates on our journey down to Chichester. The bar was a bit austere and not welcoming but the staff were cheery and bright and the drinks were top drawer. A preferred change to the big national chains for coffee etc and well worth a visit.

This was my first visit to The Square Brewery and I'll be going back, wonderful pub with a brilliant atmosphere. I went to watch My best mate's daughter perform her last gig with The Boost Button and it was Fantastic, they we're brilliant and the atmosphere in the pub was electric. ⚡⚡⚡

We only go there for a coffee from time to time, so can't make any comments about their meals. They are in a very central position so if you like to sit outside, as we do, you can see the market when it is on, or see a wedding going on at the pretty church opposite. The coffee's are great, lots of choice, the staff are lovely, and they often have event's going on such as bands. One of our favourite places to go!

In the centre of Petersfield, The Square Brewery in a spacious well run pub with track n trace and table service running smoothly. Stopped for a couple of drinks. Prices very reasonable with a large Pinot grigio and a pint of Peroni coming in at £12.45. One thing...... The Peroni is excellent! 👍

Dropped in for meal by chance. Lacked a bit of atmosphere but ok. Food fairly basic but top end of pub prices

Had a lovely meal food was very tasty and service was excellent. All covid 19 procedures followed, felt comfortable being in there. Will definitely return and recommend. Melissa was very welcoming and helpful.

Spacious bar area with a light feel, more of a restaurant look about it as the tables are set with cutlery. Reasonable selection of Fuller's Ales. Have a pint and something to eat and then move on, not enough interesting craft ales to make a session of it.

Good food and beer selection. Clean toilets and well designed venue. Prices are slightly above what you might pay elsewhere but about average for the area. Clientele sometimes a bit cliquey.
