Went here to watch a fantastic ska band, the lead singer was amazing and very entertaining. The pub was cozy, a little hot but it was packed so that's to be expected. I hope they will be inviting this band back as I'd definitely like to see more of them

Unfortunately not child friendly. Drunk groups of teens swearing and throwing things, banging on toilet doors swearing asking people to hurry up. My seven year old son was traumatised having the toilet door pulled open whilst he was on the toilet. Reported to staff but due to the offenders being ‘regulars’ they basically refused to help. Therefore my review would be this pub is not child friendly or child safe.

Great little pub, beautiful old building outside, I just feel like the inside should be as old as the outside but it's been modernised inside. I still think it's a great pub though.

Very ordinary suburban pub. In the winter anyway. Loud music in the bar and us the only people in the lounge on a Fri evening. Beer ok and staff and locals friendly. I see from other people's photos a large garden etc. So I'm well prepared to think/hope my underwhelmed view is not valid all year ?

Held an event in the back garden a few months back in what was a tent in the back garden, was set up very well with a bar and all that. Staff were very friendly and great at accommodating us. The place does need to sort out the heat in this tent.

Celebrated our Silver Wedding anniversary in the marquee on Sunday 4th June, excellent venue, staff were extremely nice and helpful, buffet excellent value. would certainly go there again for subsequent events. Fantastic beer garden capable of great experience for all age groups. Only slight distraction the loo's could do with a tidy up.

Used function room for small wake following my father in laws funeral. Staff were lovely, food excellent and plentiful, highly recommended.

Wow, from the outside it looks small & pokey, but inside!!! Had family celebration here, trated exceptionally well by all staff. Garden, marquee & play area are great. Really enjoyed the whole day, nothing was too muc trouble, highly reccommended for that party! Will certainly return, next time we are in Polesworth, or needing a venue for a celebration.

It was great, enjoyed the band, great beer... But it was a bit too packed, people too close, distancing.... Gone out the flaming window.. Mixing on the tables... Its a no no.... Left early!!

Nice pub with pool table within walking distance of Pooley Park. Tastefully decorated inside with a large enclosed beer garden out back. Staff could not have been more accommodating.

Ultimate hot-spot in polesworth always livley at the weekends with a good crowd, occasionally has live bands on aswell, inside its small but there's also a large beer garden with outside bar for events in the summer

Visited on Carnival day for beers, a burger and saw a Spice Girls tribute act. Fantastic friendly atmosphere enjoyed by all ages. Didnt get to play in the sand pit as it was full of kids having fun :-)

Went to see Pinch. So packed in both rooms, also in the smoking area. Bar staff excellent. Should have applied for a temp licence and use the garden when such acts are on.👍👍

A rarity in the area a pub that actively supports live music. Has live acts on every Friday and Saturday and usually on a Sunday as well. Always packed out so go early if you want to sit down

I went to a private party and so wasn't surprised to enjoy the experience but I have to say that the atmosphere they create throughout the building is one of welcome and care. Service is quick and friendly facilities are clean and tidy. It's small but well worth a visit.

What a wonderful pub!! We have had such a great welcome and some fun nights. The bands have been good, the staff amazing and we are meeting some of the locals. Beer is good as well. Highly reccomend it to anyone looking for a place to have a quiet afternoon drink, or some weekend fun!!

First despite despite living in the village for years. Lady behind the bar was extremely welcoming to me and my dogs and the beer was good!The only negative was that it was a warm sunny day so we sat in the beer garden which looked quite messy and overgrown which was a shame.Would definitely return due friendly welcome
