El desayuno vegetariano era delicioso y de gran valor. Estaba realmente impresionado por el personal amable, la calidad de la comida (por el precio) y su esquema Pay Forward que ayuda a aquellos que necesitan apoyo localmente. ¡Visitar!

most saturdays pop into spoon cafe while supporting a young person to an art class always loved coming into this cafe & encouraging for the person in supporting to get out for a tea & cake but today was the worst visit to this cafe I have ever encountered rude very abrupt staff member & a female staff member with short red hair than certainly put me of any more visits to this cafe deeply ashamed as this cafe is meant to be for the community & does a lot of good 👎

We stumbled across this cafe by accident. So glad we chose to go back for breakfast. Service was quick and extremely friendly and the coffee was amazing!

I know that’s it community enterprise but that doesn’t give it extra points when not deserved. The price is great. The service ok. The food ok. The coffee poor. We had to send our coffees back ... twice, the first time the extra shot was missing. The second they sat on the counter so long they were cold. The Chicken Cesar Salad wasn’t great with some sort of processed , shredded chicken. I will give them another try some time. The soup and sandwich option was very popular from what I could see.

This wee place looks so nice from the outside and lives up to it inside but today was my first and last step over the threshold. The one staff member I spoke too was shockingly rude to me on two occasions. My sister in law and I went in for lunch about 1.30 ish and started to look at the menu when the staff member came over took one of the menus away, leaving us with a laminated one. She then snapped at us that all the food left was ‘jacket potato & toasties’. Because she left one we assumed (wrongly) that she meant that the food left was on the ‘lunchtime special menu’. I will admit it left me a little confused so wanting to double check I waited while she dealt with a customer. When I asked again I was snapped at and was once again told all food left was the above and that they had sold out of everything! What’s most disappointing is that for them to be sold out that early on in the day clearly means that the food is good. I wont recommend The Spoon Cafe purely because of the way I was spoken to. If I could give no stars I would.

Walking past and was tempted in by the colourful signage.A cosy place, with helpful staff who were all extremely friendly.Food was good and seemed a very good price.they Could teach some of the more established brands a thing or two about customer service.A great idea and a great place.

I had some time to kill between business meetings today and fancied a simple baked potato with cheese and salad. Having walked the length of Argyle St in my suit on a hot May afternoon I came across Spoon, a social venture which gives some of our less fortunate citizens a chance to show how capable they are. And they are very capable. I started with a simple request when I walked in - I asked if they did baked potatoes. In stead of a vacant “yeah” the lad who spoke to me went to where they were being kept warm to check that they had some and then when I confirmed I wanted to sit down he directed me to do so where I would be served. So far so good. His colleague was very friendly when he served me, and me being fussy I asked for certain salad items to be left off the plate, including dressing. I know a lot people enjoy ever fancier dressings on their salad but nature actually does a good job of creating tasty. What he brought me was so much more than I expected. Not only was it tasty (despite the lack of unnecessary dressing) but the potato was perfectly baked. A home baked scone to finish was lovely. All very high quality. Locally sourced ingredients prepared and delivered well. What more do you want? If I can leave you a thought. There are a lot of “corporate “ places to eat in Glasgow. But like me in my suit that is just the dressing. Some times the truly good ingredients come straight from nature. Locally grown. The guys who served me today were brilliant. I left happy that I had stumbled on a gem.

We noticed this place while looking for an afternoon snack and were drawn in by the signage outside. This cafe is a social enterprise supporting those in the area in so many ways. They not only provide meals to those who might otherwise struggle to provide for themselves but also training and employment to adults with learning difficulties. On top of all that the food and service was top notch so just by eating here you are supporting so many. Well done on such a fantastic place.

I've been a regular here since Black Pine opened seven years ago, appearing at least once every week, and sometimes more frequently. Mostly I come on my own, but have also introduced friends and family. My experience of both the coffee and the service has always been extremely positive. Pete and the team have succeeded in creating a stylish, relaxed environment. They are a friendly lot, and like nothing better than a bit of backchat at the same time as serving up the best cup of coffee in the area. And I am VERY fussy about my coffee...I kid them on that I only come for the playlist, but that is simply not true. The place is inviting, the coffee is great, and the people are smart and funny as well as being good at their jobs. Now, guys, where's my free coffee?!!
