There was a confusion about the order , the Just Eat website did not reflect the price update But the restaurant eventually delivered the full order without prompting.

The food was excellent, i would love to order more. I ordered two naans but that was missing. I hope the restaurant will look into this.

Always use Spices, however very rude customer service on the phone. Food arrived and they forgot part of the order. Then took them 45 mins to deliver the missing part and when it came, it was cold. No apology, nothing for compensation. I have been using Spices for years but the last few times this year I have not been satisfied with it.

Never had such poor food from them. Portions were half the size we normal get. There was only 4 bits of chicken in each dish. The chicken in one of the dish’s looked like pre pack pieces of chicken from the local food shop. Really not happy

I have seen adverts claiming that this Indian Takeaway is the best in Croydon. It might just be true. I have to be incredibly careful with what I eat. No adverse reactions with their food. Excellent quality food, and very fairly priced.

Food never turned up Called spices who said the booking and was told their machine was not working and just eat knew about it So I tried to contact just eat and found it impossible to get in contact with them To complain. I’ve tried over two days still not able to contact just eat Which is a shame and terrible that a long term customer. Is just expected to pay £30.00 for no service

Absolute shambles. 50 minutes late. A complete non apology. Pathetic excuse that the order was not on the system when it was there all along. Blamed everyone except themselves

Second time I have now use the spices really impressed food was on time and hot great taste and well presented in the takeaway containers, delivery driver was very polite, will definitely be using them from now on.

Great restaurant, I’m always making special requests for the level of spice and swapping dishes and they’re always so obliging…and the foods amazing!

They got our order wrong, our nan bread wasn't delivered and no cutlery. The food didn't tastes nice at all however the chapatti was okay.

I only use two takeaways and this is one of them. Always great food.

Have you changed your chef? Korma was watery and the pathia had a very strong taste of vinegar...not the best we've had from you, which is a shame as it is normally great.

Really enjoyed our meal. Sadly ordered three poppadoms but only got two, also ordered lime pickle and didn’t receive that either. A bit of a shame - I love lime pickle! - but the rest of the food was really delicious.

Food was 10mins late (1hr 10 for order to delivery) but the food was absolutely delicious and piping hot, Vindaloo was nice and spicy, korma was flavourful and rich and it wasn’t greasy at all. Will order again don’t mind waiting when the food is this good!

The food arrived late and was barely warm. The Biryani was missing the vegetable curry and when I telephoned the restaurant to inform them I was told they were far too busy to send out a replacement. well Spices, you'll be less busy in future because you have now lost the custom of a very loyal customer. Very poor service.

Ordered from here for the first time. Ordered at 6pm with an estimated delivery of 6:50. Called restaurant at 7:20 and told food leaving now. Food arrived after another 20 minutes even though we live two minutes from the restaurant. Also popadoms came with the meal but no dips, unlike our usual delivery. We will not be using Spices again.

Wonderful is all I really need to say. The Duck Tikka Nagajool was simply amazing, hot, spicy, and full of flavour. Everything arrived hot, and once served was an absolute delight.. I’ve eaten in at this restaurant before, although it was a while ago. I think the food has gotten even better. Will definitely eat here again. Well done to the restaurant and chef. I think I may have found a family favourite.

Rude staff. Stale food. Our complaint regarding quality of chicken was not looked into by the restaurant staff. Stale pieces of chicken were mixed with good pieces of chicken in the 2 chicken dishes ordered. This is the first time we've had such a bad experience from the restaurant. The restaurant staff were not courteous enough to listen and acknowledge the issue and cross questioned our integrity. The acknowledgement and apology was all that was expected when the phone calls were made. The restaurant made us call twice to report the issue, busy at first. Just Eat expected to refund the 2 chicken dishes [£13.48] which were not good. Also, the food hygiene ratings of the restaurant to be looked at, considering the stale quality of the chicken. We don't intend to order from this restaurant again after this disappointing experience - they have really spoilt our evening for no fault of ours.

On the whole the food was OK but needed warming up. My one big complaint is that the bag the food came in stank of cigarette smoke. Please ask your driver not to smoke when he's delivering food. It was incredibly off putting!!

They won't make small changes to orders like other restaurants

After waiting almost 2 hours for our food it arrived stone cold and had to be put in the microwave. The food was not nice, very dry. Will not be ordering again.

I'm fussy about currys. There's a lot crap places out there where you need a chainsaw to get through the tough dry meat. Everytime I go to a new area I go through about 10 places before I reach the one that does the trick. At times I reach a place that is alright one night but dodgy other nights. For spices we've never had a bad one here and it's our go to place. The open kitchen is comforting and the owner is friendly. They may not have 6 star curry of the year awards plastering the windows but you can always come here and have a good curry with plenty of options. What more would you want?

They delivered too early told me to take it as it was ready !! I said my partner won’t be home for 49 mins he said I will bring back later. Spoke to restaurant they said as it was fresh they would bring back later I told them I am not accepting a kept warm dinner, they did not look at time for delivery , now it’s 20 mins late as still waiting for driver such a shame as the last 2 meals were really nice and it only takes one fail !!!! Never again

Always order from here food amazing however this time delivery was 15mins late which wasn’t to worried about food arrived hot but the onion bhaji where so hard and dry couldn’t eat them could have used them as a tennis ball they was that hard

Honestly.. that was delicious! Always weary on ordering from somewhere new but this was beautiful! It was on time, warm, portion size perfect! I’d 100% be ordering again and 100% recommend.. they have 5star food hygiene rating too so even better :)

Food was stone cold, app wasnt updated to say it was being delivered. Barely had any meat in the curry - when i called they basically said it is what it is. Worst part was the naan was freezing! Wont be using this restaurant again.

Food was well packaged and salad was fresh. Impressed with the onion salad and the amount of spice on the dishes. Nice little kick without being overpowering. The tandoori mixed grill was our favourite dish. I asked for alternative breads to naan and they replaced it without question. Will definitely order again.

Order was late by 30 minutes. I called the restaurant and the person at the other end hung up without completely listening to me and subsequent calls were not attended. The person delivering the food went into a wrong building despite the address being correct and clear instructions within the building. I had to eventually collect my order by coming out on to the road. Restaurants may have issues but that does not mean that customers are penalized. I asked for money back which was refused by the restaurant, so perhaps they feel entitled to be paid for an abysmal service. Will think twice before ordering from this place again.

Food was a few minutes late but that would've been forgiven if we received all items we ordered! When we called the restaurant to tell them they had missed items we were told we were 'too far' and they wouldn't be sending out the missing items! Not the first time this has happened, disgusting customer service, has put me off ordering from them again.

Food was disgusting one bit burnt next bit not cooked properly shocking service from all members of staff including management things missing from my order then took a further 50 mins to bring correct thing and when delivery driver came back he asked for my wife’s number

wife enjoyed chicken byriani but my lamb pasanda was ok but not great.
