Good food and service, there were 4 of us and we all had a good meal and very reasonable prices. Will certainly go again soon.

The food was bit pricy for what it was but ok. The service was ‘stretched’ as they had a private party on the night we went. The Spice Tree decor is a little tired and needs updating but overall it was “ok” !!! Menu needs updating and reviewing - in my opinion!!

Dads Curry Club decided on venturing to The Spice Tree in Sharnbrook this month. We had no idea to expect but on arriving the welcome was not the best we’ve experienced but we hoped things would pick up. My daughters both enjoyed the kebab and vegetable samosas. Both my son and mine were extremely bland. For the mains the stand dishes was the chicken tikka and the Naga king Prawns. They packed a punch. The sides were good along with the naan bread. Portion sizes were generous. Not at any point were we asked if all the food was ok, which was a shame as I would have mentioned the issues. I’d give it another try but I’d leave it awhile. Here’s to next months Dads Curry Club

Had a lovely tasty meal in the garden. Top service and top food. I had the tandori chicken with a fab crispy salad and my husband had the chicken tawa with a side sag paneer.

We came for something to eat the evening of moving in day. The food was nicely spiced, I like medium, hubby preferred something with more fire. I have an allergy and am vegetarian, they were easily able to cope with that. We were left in peace but didn’t feel abandoned. There was someone on hand when we needed it. We returned a couple of weeks later and were glad to see the same good quality food, service and diversity in the menu.

I found Spice Tree by accident last time I was working in the area, but am I glad I did. I have since returned four times in three weeks! Being from Glasgow and spoiled by our curry houses, as well as cooking my own passed on by Asian relatives, this is certainly one restaurant/take away worth visiting. From large portions to fantastic flavour, the Spice Tree, Sharnbrook delivers on every level. My personal favourites are the Onion bhaji and Spice Tree special starters, followed by the Garlic Chilli lamb which is without doubt, one of the best I have ever tasted. Coming from an extremely fussy and difficult to please diner, I couldn't recommend the Spice Tree highly enough.

We loved the food, it was delicious. Staff were lovely as usual. One of our favourite Indians. They also do take aways aswell as sitting in. Would recommend to everyone.

We are Indian food loving family and we eat out regularly. A friend suggested this village restaurant. Very sorry but worst Indian food, couldn't believe! We were a group of 5 and ordered many different dishes, all bland taste. Not a single dish met our expectation apart from the desserts, would never eat here again. If you are looking for ‘authentic Indian food', some amazing options in Bedford. We never left single star feedback for any restaurant before but the food these guys are offering under the tag of ‘Indian food’ is not right, their chef needs to spend time in Indian food kitchen!

Beer - very good. Starter - terrible - mixed special grill was coated in some god awful sauce. Main - excellent lamb curry. Great flavour. Although my friends butter chicken was way to sweet !! Onion Baji - best I’ve ever had. And I’ve had a few. Paratha - probably the worst I’ve ever had. I would not call it a Paratha. So a real mixed bag. 50% 5 star. And 50% 1 star.

What a treat! Great food, amazing service and nice ambience. To top it off is the bar area next to the restaurant with pool, darts and tv music. Makes it a good evening out. Thanks

Definitely worth a visit, and worth driving to if you do not live in Sharnbrook. We went here on a Friday evening. The restaurant was busy and lively, but plenty of attentive staff to make sure that the service was good. We had two separate main courses from the large Specialities section - both were very tasty, spiced but without being too hot. There is also the choice of the 'standard' curry dishes. Very nice evening, and will definitely go again.

Ate here a few weeks ago with my parents. On arrival staff were attentive however trying to get someone to take order took some time Our food came in stages and I had to wait some time to get my rice and naan bread to complete my meal What was served was of a good standard and very authentic However, yet again trying to pay the bill, all the staff virtually ignored us and I had to go and find someone

Have enjoyed Wilstead Tandoori for 6-8 years, but unfortunately since new takeover in past 1 year the quality is seriously degrading. I’m one to not judge on one bad curry but after numerous ones over the last 6 months alone I thought it was worth a review. On the hope this constructive feedback will drive some improvements. Lastnight our order as an example was incomplete, the Naan bread was tough and wife & daughter couldn’t eat it, rice containers 25% empty so where I’d normally split a rice between our 2 daughters, this wasn’t possible. The chips were hard, hollow and tasteless. Mixed grill starter was swimming in grease, unfortunate I missed a further review below who had a similar bad experience with that dish. On calling up to challenge the missing item, they told me it was a bad signal, but they didn’t feel the need to check the order back with me ?!? They also agreed to send a new rice. Upon getting the missing item and new rice, the rice was wrong again !!! My wife on her birthday was left watching us eat our meal to have hers 40mins later, with rice she wasn’t keen on and cold naan. Hope situation gets better..

Always great food, not your regular "indian" so don't expect naan and chicken madras, but wonderful south Indian food. Dosa a must, and fish curries are great. Also good value and helpful staff.
