Lovely place, slightly cold but wasnt an issue, our server Lauren was quick about serving us , all in all a great night

Joeja gave me good service and help me picked a cocktail that was one of a kind, that she made herself

It was really cold. We tried to play pool and the far table is so tight we couldn't play most of our shots so we gave up. Also were next to a really rowdy bunch and ended up leaving.

This pub is alright for cocktails. Happy hour is always on, with some on buy-one-get-one-free. The place needed to put the heating up, as we were all cold and with the pool tables, was a bit loud and boisterous at times.

We got in there and there was what looked like the bar maids friend the other side of the bar eating a take away curry out of the plastic box. Smelt the place out. My friend ordered a beer and took it back after having 2 big swigs, it tasted off and she said ‘smells fine to me’ glasses left at the end of the bar unwashed, tables not cleaned. Lazy and lonely.

Poor service at the bar. Wrong drink delivered and when corrected a face like a slapped cow. 🐮

I've been to the snug a couple of times now and it is a very lovely cocktail bar. The bar staff are very friendly, I was looked after by jorja she is a brilliant bartender and makes lovely cocktails. I would really recommend the snug in ware.

A good place if you want to go for a few cocktails or drinks or to enjoy a night out, jorja is a good bar tender and always has cocktails and drinks on point, very cheerful and always puts a smile on peoples faces x

Not as good as it used to be, pre Covid used to be much busier, nowadays the cocktails seem cheaper tasting and the beer selection more limited, and last time I went most seemed to be off. Not the worst place but not the best either

I visited this bar with my friend Sunday 23rd April 2023 and ordered 2 cocktails for £10 as advertised on their menu. It wasn't until the next morning when I checked my online banking that I noticed that I had been charged £20.40. I contacted the snug bar as soon as I realised I had been overcharged and to date I am still waiting for a reply. My own fault for not checking the amount typed in on the card machine, but shocking customer service.

It has Live Music, very good pub for night out on Fridays and Saturdays. Variety of drinks and friendly staff.

Went in for a party night. Was excellent. Beer is on par with Ware prices.

Called up late doors looking for a couple of drinks on Wednesday night. Nathan sorted us out with a nice table and ample crisps to soak up the Lovely lagers on tap. Thank you guys, highly recommended.

Misleading prices. Cocktails are not worth the inflated price. Go elsewhere .

MAKE SURE YOU AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Very rude, incompetent, extremely slow bar staff, unless you like to wait for 20 mins, even when the bar is relatively empty. Amongst the worst service I have ever received in all my life. TRULY ABYSMAL SERVICE HOW DOES THIS BUSINESS SURVIVE WITH SUCH POOR SERVICE....???

Had a great night!! All my mates and I had excellent service and everybody had a fantastic time!! Noticed a large wedding group attempt to enter during closing time and the staff were professional and courteous informing them that they were closing for the night. In spite of the crowds antagonistic behavior, the staff members maintained a professional manner and the crowd eventually left. Very well handled and truly outstanding service. Will be back again!!

Visited Saturday 27th February around 430. Only went there because other bars we tried first were heaving. The place was empty. We were the only customers there. 1 beer and a large glass of win was £14. Staff were friendly and admitted that pricing was high and that there'd recently been an increase. There are better places in Ware that offer greater value for money. Won't be in a hurry to return. Pity as pre-COVID, this place had something about it...

Service lacked, but fair enough was on a week day. Apparently had no red wine but then did, there was staff training and the delivery wasn't till next day so no major issues

Keep away please.. my reviews are always truthful and from the heart as all google local guides should be, I take my local guide badge as an honor. £17.90 for a pint and JD (over $30 for two drinks) in the U.K still feel sick hours after.. Just noticed nearly £2 ($3.50) to bring a drink 5 ft from the bar!?! Not allowed to get it yourself. On the review side , staff friendly.

Had a booking here today for 2 for 1 cocktails, got called this morning by them to renege on the deal citing covid restrictions. Tried to reason with them and negotiate having the first round as 2 for 1 but not willing to budge at all. D9nt thonk it was unreasonable that they honour the bokongs they already had. Completely unprofessional and awful service. Will not be returning, and if this is their attitude to patrons then good luck surviving covid.

The snug, what is there to say, its more to do with being poorly managed and the clientle lacking any respect for the local residents that live around the pub ,at the weekends they are open to 1am which fine but the management feel its ok to let the customers carring on drinking outside the premises with drink from pub which not sure is allowed that time of night plus other bring there own like its a late night street party till 2am making tons of noise, im happy for people enjoy themselfs as its the weekends but have some thought for others.

Joke. Service charge to bring me a pint outside when I can't order at the bar. Don't waste your time or money

Called in on Friday evening for a drink. There was hardly a queue at the bar, but the staff showed no interest at all in serving us. Seemed more preoccupied looking at some paperwork behind the bar or showing off thier cocktail making skills to each other and other customers of the opposite sex. After being completely ignored for about 10 minutes we left.

I like it here... but it's more 3.5 star. The toilets need a good refurbishment....and the cozy areas need more cozy seating. The staff are friendly, but can have their off days! This pub does 214 cocktails every day and serves food. There is a wide selection of cocktails, beer and ales. Crisps are a limited choice as are nuts. Having been here during the week day evenings, I just think the music (although upto date!) Is way too loud for a cozy cocktail evening. It's never busy enough for a party!

.Visited the snug on Friday night havnt Bern in here since at college when it was called the bell.What a change really enjoyed the visit brilliant selection of cocktails and seeing the guys making them was very entertaining good selection of music being played and helpfull and friendly staff really must pay it a visit again.Good selection of draft beers and lagers on tap.They have regular events going on throughout the week.

Good atmosphere and a younger clientele than in Hertford. Larger bar area too.

We used the Snug on a Sunday morning / lunchtime as a convenient location for a group meeting. The staff were very accommodating and made us feel welcome. Prices were good as was the variety of drinks and with the fine service, made this an enjoyable experience.

Unfortunately we were kept waiting for over and hour at lunch time for our food, in a bar that couldn't have had more than 8 customers at the time. The food itself was mediocre. Whilst the bar man was nice, no attempt was made to remedy the poor food or service, even when a complaint was made when paying, just an excuse of it being a "new menu", even though I'm sure fish and chips, chicken goujons, and some pork medallions aren't exactly beyond even the most basic of cooks talents.

Went in for a cheeky cocktail ordered porn star martini at 8.15 on a Thursday evening and charged £10.50 so disgusted we are not in the west end even then they wouldn’t charge this amount daylight robbery never again!
