The Smokin’ Fox in Glasgow City

Cracking staff, tasty food and a good selection of beers! Steak pie was delicious, a salt n chilli wings too! Visited couple of times on my trip and always has a good buzz with sports on the multiple screens!! Worth a visit !!

Staff here are amazing, I had steak pie which was nice , potatoes were a wee bit dry, other half had burger and chips which he said were delicious and looked it , service was by far the best I’ve had and the cost was not expensive , pre book as it was very busy .

We have visited a few times for drinks but this time it was a lunch visit with friends. Excellent and attentive service throughout the staff couldn't do enough to look after us. Food was also excellent we will be back!

Booked a table for lunch & afternoon drinks. Food was underwhelming at best but even more annoying is that you only get the table for 2 hours! They had booked it out again after that. Really poor! Had to go spend our drinking money in another establishment! For that reason, wont be back.

Visited Glasgow from Wales on a 50th birthday trip. Watched rugby here, staff absolutely amazing. Good natured fun watching the rugby. Ate here Saturday and Sunday, food was excellent. Highly recommend visiting.

Had a lovely time had food in the restaurant and then got a table in the bar stayed for a few hours. Nice relaxed crowd in the pub.

First time here. Came with my family. Thought it would be a basic bar lunch.. so pleasantly surprised. Cosy comfortable atmosphere with beautiful painted ceiling. Food was 5 star and I am so fussy. Steak pie perfect and Mac and cheese to die for. Started off with a foxy lady cocktail created by our waitress Pagan who was very attentive and lovely. A memorable and delightful day…thank you.

Nipped in here on a Sunday morning before Xmas whilst on a trip for my wife's birthday. Had the full Scottish breakfast and it was amazing. Excellent quality ingredients and service with a smile. There was a kids xmas party on, with a Santa giving out presents, which did add to the atmosphere.. Excellent place, highly recommended

Brilliant from the start. Cocktail was incredible as was the food I recommend steak and frites. Friendly staff who couldn’t be more helpful hopefully when back in Glasgow can return !

We were a bit misled by great reviews, the bar food is very average. The tabbouleh starter was delicious but tiny. The fish and chips was greasy but worst of all was the steak pie. It arrived in a very small bowl with a fat marrow bone in the middle (maybe they think this makes the dish look decorative) but it takes up a large part of the already small round dish and therefore means this is yet another very small portion. (Do they think people don't notice the dodges). The food here is not good value for money and the quality is average. Service very friendly but slow. Had looked forward to a nice Hogmanay meal but it wasn't to be.

Lovely atmosphere, great staff taking table drinks orders, sky sports main reason we went in for the Darts …… definitely recommend

Fantastic atmosphere, amazing staff, great drinks. We have visited a few times when over in Glasgow and it’s our favourite pub. The staff are just amazing, friendly, efficient and happy. Never eaten in the bar but would definitely give it a try next time.

Really nice pub, great atmosphere, background music is spot on, not too loud do you can have a conversation, bit loud enough to hear, cracking songs on the playlist as well. Wines are excellent, not eaten on there yet.......that's for another visit.
