Brunch was great here and the service was amazing, especially from Freyja. Drinks were served quickly and we weren’t left waiting for anything, and the food was amazing. I’ll definitely be going again

My daughters bday celebration, staff very friendly and accommodating. Made me feel welcome. Always smiling great food and great drink. Ethan and fray u did a good job well done.

Kerry is an absolute diamond, she was our bottomless brunch server & was so attentive, funny & made our experience a 10/10. Could tell she loves her job & loves her customers. couldn’t fault her one bit. The drinks came out quick and she made us laugh throughout the 2 hours. Had to tip her, she is so so good at her job💎

Visited slug and lettuce in Southend this weekend with work colleagues and just wanted to say how fantastic the customer service/atmosphere was. Great affordable food prices and a wide range of cocktails. We was served by the friendliest young lady i believe her name was Kerry. She went above and beyond for us all night. - Thanks Kerry! Big thanks to Simon and his team for the service and making sure we had everything we needed.

Very impressed Slug & Lettuce! I was expecting the average pub chain experience but was really pleasantly surprised, the food was incredible (best burger I've had in ages and fries were hot until the end!) there really good cocktail selection and we received a friendly and attentive service from Crystal and Callum. We had a super bottomless brunch experience and will definitely be back! Thank you! X

Went to bottomless brunch with my best friend, Luke was out server the whole way through and he was absolutely amazing, so friendly and chatty

Disgusting service, booked a table for 5pm and they cancelled it without my request at 4pm. The guy on the phone when questioned was evasive and quite frankly rude. Would not visit this place in future if they paid me. Despicable.

we did a bottomless bruch for a birthday service was ridiculously slow half of the drinks weren’t available, then we waited 20 minutes for a drink then our food came out and we were missing half of the order the potions sizes were horrendous when we mentioned it to the staff the chef came out and wasn’t happy that we mentioned we was missing his words “ it wasn’t on the ticket “ the chef came off very pissed off I had a sharing Mac and cheese and it was practically 2 spoons wasn’t for sharing at all when we mentioned everything about our service our server didn’t seem to care at all, they took forever to make the drinks while our server was talking to her co worker will never be returning an absolute abomination there was 1 other table in the restaurant

Ethan was a great host for our brunch, so funny and made our brunch so much better than the Romford slug and lettuce. Definitely would recommend Southend if you’re going to a slug brunch!

What Can I say! Service here was amazing, Ethan!! He’s a star, made us feel so comfortable. He’s what every bar tender should be knowledgable, witty and fast! He made sure we never saw the bottom of our bottomless! He was so sweet and will defo be returning. Thank you Ethan!

Had a great time at S&L Lydia was very welcoming when we firsts arrived and so accommodating. We had food and drinks even the sharing flamingo which she brought over. Great staff and food was great will be coming back

Lovely place ! Food was nice (full English breakfast) very filling. We got the bottomless brunch and was served by Crystal - she was lovely and attentive. Kept the drinks flowing. The garden is huge with loads of room especially for the summer. They also play music which is also great. Will definitely come again! Good value for money

Bottomless brush was excellent! Kirsty was an amazing server, so quick with drinks and the rounds! Luke was a great bartender! Couldn’t ask for anymore from a bottomless brunch!!

First time visiting, will be back. Friday night music selection was decent! Could have spent the entire evening here. Mix of ages, friendly bar and security staff. Cannot wait for another night out here.

Brilliant place great atmosphere visited at the weekend it was very busy with a big queue at the bar but always served promptly and food delicious. Thank you to the great staff who served us all night long.

My partner and I visited Slug & Lettuce in Southend-on-Sea for a bottomless brunch. We thought that the service was excellent (Crystal did a fantastic job), with drinks freely flowing and being topped up/replaced with new drinks without needing to be prompted. The food was pleasant and as expected. Dietary requirements were taken into consideration and respected. The atmosphere was good with good background music that wasn’t overbearing. This was an excellent bottomless brunch, particularly for the price paid.

We booked an afternoon bottomless brunch, we upgraded to more cocktails, Ethan was absolutely brilliant, fun, engaging, super quick service and friendly. The food was lovely, the only downside I didn’t particularly agree with is that everyone in your party has to upgrade if one person wants to don’t necessarily agree with this. Overall would 100% come back again as long as Ethan was the host ;)
