Molly and Myla were lovely and gave us a fantastic experience and were always checking if we needed an extra drink !! Definitely recommend.

If you are in Newquay for hen or stag, you must add this bar to your list! Another good modern bar with loads of drinks to choose from. If you are in town. Give it a visit and have a drink or two. Our group had a great time visiting the bar. Make sure you add it to your list of bars when you are visiting the area.

Made a reservation, table wasn't ready when we arrived ,but plenty of dirty tables available. We ordered food which was cold ,mine was sent back. The place was cold to sit in ,so made it quite uncomfortable to enjoy. I have emailed them and I am yet to hear off anyone from slug and lettuce. Wouldn't recommend 🫣

Walked in, walked straight back out. First thing I saw was a hen do all black out drunk and a few tables of lads Just staring. Music was loud enough to be classed as a live concert

Only a table of two, for bottomless brunch for us, with crowding tables around. But Ethan was so attentive for the two hour slot we had. We rarely went without a drink. The food was spot on aswell, could not fault it.

Amazing customer service, shoutout Cam!! Frequent check ins, swapped out a cocktail me and my partner weren’t a fan of, positive attitude, wonderful atmosphere. Just overall great vibes and would 1000% come again and recommend to everyone.

The place is pleasant but the over all service is vacant. I had a burger that was funfair material, dry & tasted wrong and so I approached the bar with it, explained the situation but this fell to a response of "We don't normally get complaints". It wasn't worth a debate so I left it with them. Of course the minimal service then degrades further based on the returned food. Children's desserts take ages, we have to approach the bar for them, again then wait an eternity, we got the message. I don't require an automated message, neither a return invite for a chance to put it right. The chance was there when our family were dining.

Came tonight for my partners birthday, food was absolutely stunning on the sharing plates (5 for £24), followed up by a bottomless brunch which definitely didn’t disappoint! The Waitress molly was brilliant and kept us topped up and with a smile on our face the whole time, would highly recommend!

The place was empty, we were given a table too small for our party. Lots of UberEats/Delivery drivers in collecting food. Our food took over an hour to arrive and most of it was cold, my friends salad wasn't even complete. Disappointing seeing as the last time we ate here, it was really good. I can't fault the poor chap who served us though, he was excellent (and absolutely mortified at the same time) he worked well under pressure. I hope things get better as it would be a shame to lose another place to eat.

No puedo imaginar que el nuevo bar deportivo sea demasiado popular dada la ubicación y el hecho de que es una zona muy tranquila los sábados / domingos.

Vi el cartel de Slug and Lettuce con gran alivio y no nos decepcionamos. Estaba ocupado cuando llegamos allí, así que tuvimos que esperar un tiempo, pero Batman nos hizo un gesto de asentimiento cuando pudimos pedir comida y salió rápidamente después de eso. Gran envoltura de pollo y una deliciosa ensalada de salmón a la parrilla, regada con Peroni frío. Lo que no era para gustar. Hecho para sentirse muy bienvenido.

Visited on a bank holiday with several friends. Food was half price which we weren't aware of before ordering, really good quality and quick to serve.

Fue un desastre total desde el principio. Cuando conseguimos nuestra comida, la mayor parte estaba fría! Vimos otras mesas, con partidos más grandes servidos antes que nosotros. Yo no recomendaría este restaurante y nunca volveré!

A great last pub to go to for a few pints and some food before getting on the coach after a long days shopping and sightseeing in London. Nice and comfortable to wait for the coach if you are early, a no fuss pub.

Yesterday morning I visited slug & lettuce Victoria with a friend for breakfast. We made some changes in our meal and food was amazing. All the staff was friendly and helpful, an especial mention to Shawn and Xoel, they were specially kind. Thank you for such a good time that we finished with a 241 in cocktails ;)

Comfortable, clean, great atmosphere and great food. Visited this restaurant three times within our four night stay.Only problem was understaffed. The two guys were working thier tails off and they had to close the kitchen early. Even though they were understaffed, they were very polite and calm.The food was better than I expected, tasty fresh and large portions. If you're in this area, do yourself a favour, and visit!

Visited with work colleagues after work on a Friday.The wait to get served at the bar was painfully long due to a lot of orders being cocktails and thus taking much longer to make.We ordered a selection of 5 different small plates from the menu but found that 2 of them had very cold centres so clearly hadn’t been cooked (microwaved) properly.At around 6pm-ish the place turned into a nightclub which made having a conversation impossible so at that point we decided to leave.

Was out at this pub on a Friday night with my former colleagues from my previous job. Really crowded and loud music, lovely atmosphere, long queues to get drinks, too hot inside. Had a good time though.

Attended a colleagues leaving drinks. nice venue but appallingly slow service. waited 45 minutes to get served at 5.30 on a Thursday evening. i stayed for the one drink and went somewhere else

Every summer our work friends book an area every Monday evening to take advantage of the Menu offers and 2-4-1 cocktails. There were so few staff on shift for such a big booking of 30+ and others in the place that they had to cancel 2-4-1 cocktails early in the evening. The staff were trying their absolute best and apologized profusely but simply could not handle the overwhelming amounts of cocktail mixes with only two bar staff and one floor staff on shift! They genuinely we're so upset they couldn't serve us properly but made the best effort to accommodate us with the staff they had. Not sure why management chose to understaff an evening with large bookings like tonight's but our workplace sees this bar as a Monday evening tradition and we will consider taking our custom elsewhere if our bookings can't be handled properly. I feel bad giving such a low rating when the staff put in so much effort to treat us well.

I used to come here frequently because the mixologists were fabulous! They spent time and effort making the cocktails look great. You can't beat the 2 4 1 cocktails! I bought my mum here for a few cocktails after not having been in a year and I was hugely disappointed. I had a Sex on the Beach which looked like a glass of orange juice - no effort whatsoever. The chilli con carne seemed as if it was straight from a microwave meal. Then, at 5pm just as we're finishing our food, they turn the music up so loud I couldn't even hear my mum across the table. On our way out one of the bar staff said thanks and my mum commented that we were leaving because it was like a night club - he just laughed and said "yeah it's great!". Not great when we're wanting to eat, chat and enjoy each other's company. I won't be returning.

Nice pub it’s was very quite on Wednesday 16th but we were served by Kelly and her male colleague both very friendly but Kelly was amazing always laughing smiling great asset to your pub we did not eat but it’s a nice pub lovely seating but Kelly is a 5 star bartender shame we was asked to leave as they was closing early as it was so quite but well done Kelly

Nice place to eat , but the music was that loud you couldn't hold a conversation, the food was quick to come but my husbands was wrong didn't have the side , I had the chicken it was a tiny piece , so still hungry we order a sweet , well if that's wat you could call it , it was 2 bite size pieces like you get in the boxes from Iceland , £7 for 2 deserts , and it was a joke 4 tiny mouth size pieces that had been microwaved to defrost them , wouldn't go back here , we asked for the music to be turned down a bit but it never happened , couldn't wait to get out of the place

Our party of 9 had an excellent 3-course Christmas meal organised by Melisa. From initial contact to finalising the bill, Melisa has been very professional, courteous and helpful and we were very impressed with her assistance. The complimentary table decorations, crackers, etc, were much appreciated. The food was well cooked and presented and the at-table service we received was very good. A thoroughly good meal and party atmosphere and definitely recommended.

The three course Christmas Dinner was excellent. We had all the Christmas delights i.e. crackers, Christmas hats etc. Melisa (the Sales and Events Manager) provided us with a very helpful and friendly service, always available, even though it was a very busy night for her and her colleagues.

The staff were very helpful with arranging the venue and see flexible in providing a space for 40 people. The Christmas buffet was excellent, although could've been a little more substantial and everyone was happy with the array of food provided. We felt welcomed, looked after and had an enjoyable evening.

The booking worked OK although they took the whole amount rather than the deposit. It might have been my fault but I would say it really was not clear when I clicked payment. We made some changes that were dealt with well before the day. When we arrived our table was ready and we got drinks at the bar. Service was quite slow - I know it was Christmas but 1 or 2 more staff would help. The worst part was the portion size - everyone commented on how small they were. Only the steak was seen as reasonable. The Christmas turkey was particularly bad. A small slice with a small sausage, one small potato, one small piece of broccoli and two slivers of parsnip. For £26 this was poor value for money and I think we will go somewhere else next year.

I went to visit a few mates in London and they took me to Slug & Lettuce Victoria. I decided to call up book us an area last minute, which for Melissa, was no problem. We had to pay a deposit but it went towards a great drinks package that lasted the night. The music was GREAT and the atmosphere even better! We definitely be returning!!!

Had a quick late lunch there, put waitress was very friendly and helpful! Drinks and foods served to our table very quick. Foods were good. We will definitely come back again.

I was at first attracted by the name - so cute I thought and then once inside I felt right at home - Lovely menu, great atmosphere and just a lovely place to be in between shows, a shopping break or to meet friends.

As a frequent customer to slug and lettuce I was not surprised by the wait for the drinks due to the popularity of the chain. However, after a fairly long wait queing, I was surprised to be asked for ID at the bar after already going through the identification process upon entry. At this point I was understanding that it is just their job, and handed over my provisional licence. The Bartender then told me that he would not accept it usually as 'it is not a full license'. I had never heard this before but he continued to take our order regardless. However when I asked for a bottle of the vinã torres esmerelda I was told 'no can do', taken aback by his lack of desire to even explain why he couldn't do this I asked for a reccommendation for a similar bottle for which he chose one about £10 more expensive... At this point the wine felt less to fuel a social desire and more of a necessity. My patience wearing thin at the unnecessary struggle this was turning into so I asked for the cheapest bottle on the menu as I couldn't justify spending my money here. My friend then ordered 2 for 1 mango Mojitos to which he replied that they were out of mint, this was odd given it was only 8:30pm on a Friday night? to top it off I look to my left to see his colleague serving up the same drink to other customers with a whole fresh bundle of mint next to him. I pointed this out and he conceded to make it, but by this point my mood had swiftly degraded from carefree Friday night to feeling ripped off and not properly looked after by lazy staff. This is something I have never experienced at the Richmond branch, the staff are always friendly and attentive, so it was a shame the Victoria venue did not meet these expectations.

Nice bar overall, atmosphere is great and music too. The thing that lets is down is the food and service.

May 4, 2017 - After an excellent free morning walking tour led by Charlotte, she took a few of us over to The Slug and Lettuce at Artillery Row for lunch. She told us that her walking tour gets a 20% discount so we decided to try the place since we needed to get lunch. One of the worst decisions we have made regarding a restaurant.First, the place is fairly large and was very busy. So, I guess some people thinks it is a good place to eat. However, our experience was anything but good. It took forever for a waitress to show up at our table and she was inexperienced.Second, the food was way below average. I had a beef pot pie and the crust was extremely hard like it had been overcooked or cooked and then cooked again to warm it. The beef was like shoe leather and the gravy tasted like it came out of a can.There are so many restaurants in London so please avoid The Slug and Lettuce chain. You will get below average chain food.
