Pasta done in 5 minutes 😖No way ,not Italian food …Never again .

Very tasty food. Everything tasted great. The boss is a real Italian and the service was great.

Probably the worst Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to and I went to one in Syria! Where do I start, the Apple tart comes with fake ice cream, not even Italian gelato - which is widely available in the UK. I had a spaghetti, a salad and a dessert / my bill was £50 and I can tell you - I wish I had a McDonald’s instead.

The food was delicious and I was satisfied with the food, but the service was not.

Fabulous food and they could not have done more to make us feel welcome and accommodated our party with grace.

Very disappointed and very expensive , then a hidden charge 13.5% !! Only noticed when home and seen the bill !! My spaghetti Carbonara was so dry. Luckily my daughter’s linguine Gamberi Zucchini was nice . Will definitely avoid Spaghetti house in the future.

The taste is less than expected

The service needs to be reviewed. We felt like we were bothering the waitress who took care of us. The food was good but in insufficient quantity and the price very high compared to the quality. I will not come back..

Ok service & Ok food. The staff seemed tired or unbothered, and only one guy was rather cheerful. Small portion of Lasagne for 18£, head down the street to Soho instead for more options.

Went here with my wife for our anniversary and saw this place while on a romantic walk around London. Went in and were seated. Menu was nice, and restaurant was okay. The problems arrived when the food did. We ordered both gluten free as my wife has coeliac disease - the waitress put both plates down and did not make it clear what meal was gluten free or not - very worrying. My bruschetta was also cold by this point. When leaving this place, instead of asking how our meal was, if we wanted to look at a dessert menu, we walked up ourselves and were met with an unwelcoming "Cash or card?" Did not even look at us. Unfriendly and to be honest not worth it. We have both been in the hospitality industry and were very disappointed.

Generally pretty decent, but nothing spectacular in the food space. Dishes were sufficiently plentiful & hot etc. I’d wished the lasagne had more layers, pizza and pasta were good.

Clean and plentiful! I didn't know how to order, so I just ordered the basics, but when I saw the table next to me ordering and eating side dishes... I was very envious.

I had a disappointing experience at the restaurant: the space was cramped, the food tasted bad, and the service was extremely poor. I never thought Italian pasta and pizza could be made so poorly! We have never encountered that kind of discrimination here in London in years. The waitstaff ignored our questions about the food and held us there for three times! choosing to serve others instead, despite the restaurant having only two occupied tables. Our tiramisu didn’t arrive even after reminders, leading us to cancel it when settling the bill.

Found this cozy Italian place right before closing. The pasta was super tasty and the Sicilian lemonade was so good and refreshing .

Good service, friendly staff, microwaved salmon, cold plate which chilled the broccoli. Disappointed.

Nous avons reçu des pâtes même pas cuites et la sauce bolognese manquait tellement de saveur et qui baignait dans l'eau et un pourboir qui nous a été imposé sur le tickets sans nous en avertir pour 12% du prix de notre repas c'est tout simplement scandaleux pour le repas et le service que nous avons eu

Très petite quantité dans l'assiette. Idéale pour un enfant de 6 ans Pas pour un adulte. En Italie, l'assiette est copieuse. De plus service pas terrible. J'ai ete servi le 1er. J'ai attendu que ma femme soit servie. Soit 30 minutes après moi. Donc j'ai dû mangé seul. Pas terrible la rapidité du service. Je ne recommande pas spécialement pour les touristes.

So coming in without a reservation I was seated quickly. The staff was pretty slow to take our order but once the order was in it came fairly quickly. I ordered spaghetti. With the expectation that it would be a reasonable portion for an adult. It was not. Served in a big bowl but with very little in it. When I take my daughter out for spaghetti it's about the size of a child's portion. I mentioned it to the manager that there must have been a mistake and he said no there was not and there is nothing he would do. So I am doing the only thing I can and warn others if you want more for your money choose any of the other Italian restaurants and I almost guarantee that you will get better service and more food for your money.

Pleasant enough atmosphere but the food was poor (over use of salt to taste). Ordered a Pannetone off the Christmas set menu for dessert. Waitress comes back 10 mins later asking us to confirm what we wanted as she could not find it on the main menu. Pointed out it was on the set menu only. Another 15 mins and still no sign of it by which time we had to leave. Then given bill which has automatically added a 13.5% service charge. Not impressed.

On arrival we seemed to be kept waiting overlong to be seated when several tables (not marked reserved) appeared vacant. The menu contained all that you might expect from an Italian restaurant but be warned the portions of the first courses suggests that they can be ordered to share - how I wish that had been pointed out either on the menu or by the waiter! Food was ok. When the bill was presented I thought it was steep but checking through it everything ordered had been included. I eventually noticed that a whopping and undeserved service charge of 13.5% was added "as standard". Frankly I was too tired to argue and paid it determining never to use Spaghetti House again.

Whilst a reasonably priced decent meal with polite staff the whole ambience was on the dowdy side in need of redecoration,none the less shall revisit.

Food: very subpar to the price value. Kitchen mastery is for sure 2/5. Especially compared to the price. Service: service is satisfactory. The waiter didn’t guide us well as new customers onto the menu options best suited for us, nor did he know the menu well. They did not serve the food to all of us together so my dad and brother had their food about ~5-7mins ahead of me. Atmosphere: no complaints here. It is very decent. Loved it 💯.

On a Wednesday evening the restaurant wasn't busy, but it was a while before we were shown to a table. We both ordered starters, unaware that they were large enough to share, and we could have ordered one! We enjoyed our main course of lasagne and finished with coffee. When the bill arrived we were shocked to find that a hefty service charge had been added. We are unlikely to eat there again.

My partner and I had an amazing dinner there ! It was very busy but pleasant, all of the staff were extremely friendly and professional, especially Roberto ! The food was amazing, portion sizes were just perfect, enough to fill you but not too much to make you overfull ! I would 100% come back here and recommend everyone visits them if they’re around London🤩

Walked in off the street after watching a show close by. Unfriendly gentleman who was stood by the bar at the till all evening. Didn't even acknowledge us as we walked in, I'm guessing he was the manager. Decided what we wanted more or less straightaway but took ages for someone to take our order although food did arrive quickly. Was given the bill with a 13.5% service charge added. Asked for it to be removed and was asked why!? I find that very rude and was put on the spot so made some silly reason up but the truth is if I am paying a service charge I expect it to be a good and attentive service. I don't feel I have to justify why I don't want to pay it. What was made worse was as we were leaving and we walked past the till area, the guy who served us all night was heard saying 'table so and so (us) refused to pay their service charge, the manager asked why and when the guy told him, the manager laughed, I found that very disrespectful, at least wait until we've left the building to discuss it! Will never visit there again no matter how hungry I am!! Don't deserve the one star I gave and wished I had eaten elsewhere, begrudge every £50 of the money I spent there!!!! Food OK, nothing to write home about!

Stopped in for a quick bite before the theatre. No reservation and the restaurant was busy on a Saturday. We were seated rather quickly. Service was good. We ordered the lasagna and margherita pizza. Food came out quickly, warm and delicious. Hit the spot. I recommend for a casual outing and good food.

Unfortunately this meal did not live up to our expectations. We had booked a table in advance as it appeared to be busy the previous night. The carbonara was cold, the sauce was sticking in one clump. After I pointed this out, it was heated up for me. No apology. It was absolutely tasteless. Service was slow and the staff unhelpful. What made it worse, was the chewing gum attached to the drinks menu. Very disappointed. I would advise trying one the many other restaurants in the area.

Really disappointing experience. Had high hopes but the service left a lot to be desired. Staff weren't very friendly, food was average, with the gluten free pasta in particular being a let down, and the bill was placed on our table without asking immediately after our meal was finished with a staff member standing over us with a card reader. We had only been there for 35 minutes and were completely rushed out, despite the booking specifying we had an hour and a half. Very disappointing.

Based on reviews, I was sure what to expect. However, service was friendly, there was an unpretentious atmosphere and the food was great. Fresh, tasty and well seasoned. We definitely enjoyed our meal a lot.

We ate here Monday 30th October 2023. Quite dissappointed. We had garlic bread for starter, which was basically a naan style bread, which was hard and tastless sadly, it came out from the kitchen very quickly, which makes me believe it had been sitting around, which explains why it was hard. I had a margarita for main, again I struggled to cut with a knife, the base was very overcooked, I couldn't eat the crusts. My fingers were red and pitted from forcing the knife through the thin rust pizza. My Son had steak, he said it was OK. Overall dissappointed. Lacking taste. Service and environment seemed rushed. I felt they had food ready before each order and were just keeping it warm-ish in the kitchen. Nothing felt fresh. We wouldn't eat here again Food was disappointing so we didn't even take photos.

Food tasted microwaved I got the spaghetti bolognaise and chips, there was no flavour. I hadn’t eaten all day so when I found an Italian place I was so happy but then soon disappointed really wasn’t worth the money and it was very boring inside.

Dopo 3 settimane in giro per la Gran Bretagna, abbiamo ceduto ed infranto la nostra regola secondo cui all'estero non si mangia italiano ma, avevamo fisicamente bisogno di pasta. Abbiamo scelto loro e siamo stati davvero fortunati. L'accoglienza è stata eccezionale grazie a Roberto ed Anastasia, il servizio eccellente ed anche divertente. Cibo molto buono. Mi sento davvero di consigliarlo a tutti!

Food was good but portion was more for a child . Even thou they were not busy ( half empty) they rushed us and gave us the bill , (without asking us ) as soon as they took our plates away . Wouldn’t go back again and if you’re hungry go elsewhere!

Great food and nice ambiente. Service was good but people changed a few times so the experience changed too. Lasagna was good, for me it could have had a bit more filling between layers. Only real downside... a good carbonara does not have cream in it :) For desert I had a tiramisu and an espresso. Both was exceptionally good. Will definitely come back next time in London. I'm glad I didn't read the reviews beforehand as we probably wouldn't have gone but we had a lovely meal here! I had the tagliatelle which was absolutely delicious, I could have eaten it all again! My daughter had the kids macaroni cheese which she enjoyed. She also had ice-cream too - 2 courses for £8. Mine was £17. They added 13.5% service charge which I was happy to pay as we got our food quickly and the staff were friendly and attentive. I'd recommend it for a decent Italian lunch.

Love this place normally but tonight the staff were very rude and lacked customer service so much that we refused to pay the service charge.

We waited too long for our food plus the food wasnt even good it was too dry and salty. The place had so many flies as well. Wouldnt recommend it.

Can you play traditional Italian music please. No one really wants to be listening to ear splitting Euro house techno rap music. Margarita pizza nothing special, certainly not to the quality of Pizza Pilgrim. Wouldn't bother coming back, only if I was absolutely starving. A. Madden.

This was awful. A huge mistake going there. The calamari starter tasted deep fried from a supermarket packet. Greasy and tasteless. The pizza was dreadful. Pizza express would knock spots off of this. Two courses and a bottle of house wine £90. Never again.

Vrlo ugodan ambijent, hrana je bila jako ukusna, a osoblje vrlo uslužno i ljubazno. Svakako preporučam :)

Ok-ish family restaurant. The lasagna was fine, although the microwave-lasagna at the Natural History Museum was better. The carbonara was popular with the children. The arrabiata was nothing but garlic powder over cheap penne. The restaurant was half full, but it still took a long time to order. The staff never asked us if we needed anything or if we were enjoying the food. The only time they were responsive was when we asked to pay. They charged a 13.5 % service charge and gave no option to withhold this despite not having rendered any actual service. Do not go, museum cafés offer a better culinary experience.

Das Essen war super lecker, eher kleine Portionen. Wenn es etwas gibt, das uns nervt, dann ist es, wenn sie anfangen, den Tisch abzuräumen, während man noch isst... und genau das haben sie getan, man musste aufpassen, dass sie einem nicht das Essen wegnehmen.

Nos encantó el lugar. Fueron muy atentos y agradables. La brusqueta y los calamares fritos exquisitos. También pedimos una pizza Margueritta deliciosa. Nos vamos muy conformes.

Nous sommes venu par hasard un dimanche soir de septembre souhaitant dîner italien. Service et accueil un peux froid. Pizza margarita insipide sans grand intérêt. Spaghetti aux boulettes trop cuites et sans grande saveur. Nous avons été déçu et regrettons notre repas.

Не погане місце у Лондоні. Їжа пристойн. Хлопчик-офіціант запам'ятав увесь заказ на 8 чоловік і приніс усе. Величезний мінус дуже довго готують замовлені страви. Ми чекали годину. Діти зголодніли і вже не могли дочекатися.

Resturant miscalculated 3 customers' bills out of 7. I was charged for the price of a bowl even though I had a cup of soup. I was also charged for an extra glass of wine when I had ordered & been charged for carafe.

you don't get what you pay for.

While the service was quick, the food was totally appalling. My husband ordered different pastas, but both did not taste good. As we left, I noticed many plates of half eaten dinners, including pizza, left by dinners.

Worst Italian restautant. I've been to several Italian restaurants which served excellent food and provided amazing service. This is the complete opposite. Servers were rude, arrogant and racist except for the lady who served us. The male server dressed in purple top and light brown trousers, and the white lady in black uniform kept ignoring us and only served Italian and "white" customers. We were served by a lady with African descent. She was nice and served us well. Food was average. Customer service was absolutely absent. Servers were racist. There was an Asian family who came after us and they were also ignored. If your servers only want "white" customers, they should go back to Italy and don't come back here. London is a multicultural city and lots of people with different nationalities come here. Tourists like us keep your business running. The least you could do is serve all customers equally and don't be racist. Rating for service should be zero or even negative.

Roberto simpaticissimo... vi può consigliare dell'ottimo cibo...abbiamo mangiato spaghetti alla carbonara,pizza margherita, melanzane alla parmigiana... veramente veramente buona la cena!!!

Ci eravamo stati nel 2019 e me lo ricordavo diverso...forse hanno cambiato gestione. Cibo buono, un po' poco pulito il pavimento

Quando hai voglia di cucina italiana a Londra, questo è il posto giusto! Roberto ci ha stuzzicato l'appetito con un antipasto sfizioso. A seguire un piattone di penne alla Norma, tagliatelle alla salsiccia con una bella spolverata di parmigiano. E per finire dolci per tutti i golosi. Una splendida cena annaffiat da un fresco Traminer.

The service and the food in Spaghetti House Haymarket was above and beyond anything that you would normally expect to receive in a London restaurant. Roberto, our waiter, who was full of fantastic Calabrian character, was a wonderful example of an Italian who is truly enthusiastic about food and the joy of family eating together. It was a real pleasure to spend an evening tasting his recommendations, and we can’t thank him and the chef enough for their hospitality.

A charming and rustic trattoria with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The homemade pasta dishes were a true comfort, and the friendly staff made us feel like family. The cozy setting was perfect for a relaxed Italian meal.

Trata-se de um restaurante mediano com alguma opções no cardapio. Simples mas com comida gostosa. Comi um frango empanado e batatas fritas. A acompanhante uma salada cesar com tiras de frango. O cardapio consta ainda algumas opções de massa que não esperimentamos. Foi bom.

Margarita Pizza were great. Bolognese were not good. The sweets were great as well

Belated Father’s Day London trip. Walked in on the off chance to grab a table. We was greeted within a few minutes of entering the door by a young lady who let us choose where we’d like to sit. Handed two menus which were dirty and we waited for about 10-15 minutes before having our drinks order being taken. The gentleman who took the initial drinks and food order left us feeling a bit intimidated. Felt as if he didn’t want to be at work. No customer service from him as of yet. Starter arrived. We ordered the calamari to share and that was pleasant. Not the best calamari we’ve had but it was decent. It was just dropped to the table and the sever walked off and didn’t say anything about enjoying the starters. Mains arrived about 10 minutes later which was good considering how busy it was further down the restaurant. My dad had the ‘Tagliatelle Salsiccia’ and for myself, I had the ‘spaghetti carbonara’. Neither of us were offered any second drinks or any Parmesan for our pasta dishes. Carrying on from this we didn’t receive a check back from any of the staff. It felt we was like a second thought to them. Further on from this we asked for the bill and asked to take the 13.5% service charge off the bill as we didn’t feel it to be appropriate in this circumstance. Would probably recommend ‘Zizzi’ if your in London

Finalmente dopo un po’ di solito cibo inglese alquanto stomachevole e dopo molti chilometri di cammino nella capitale inglese, ci siamo casualmente imbattiti in questo locale. Di primo acchito carino ed accogliente, ma per apprezzarlo davvero bisogna entrare per gustare i piatti proposto ed interloquire con l’accogliente Roberto, titolare davvero simpatico, con cui possiamo scambiare qualche battuta rigorosamente in italiano e che ci ha offerto parte del dolce, caffè e amaro. Buon appetito a tutti gli italiani disperati in Inghilterra!

Stodgy dough in the pizza. Nothing shone through. Sauce was uninspired. Mediocre

Hoping for an authentic Italian meal. It started pasably with arancini. Then we were served underdone stodgy pizza and a dried out melanzane parmigiano. It was a very disappointing experience not helped by the very sticky table and dirty ladies room. I recommend avoiding. Over-priced for the quality.
