Assaggetti in City of London, Westminster

Came here in Aug '17 and again recently, in August came here for my birthday and both times were very good. Attentive staff. Nice food. Overall it's good, but isn't fantastic or special, but worth coming if you're going to theatre near by.

We happened upon this place when we were out exploring. I'm pretty picky when it comes to Italian food since my family is Italian, this was a pretty good fine. It was reasonably priced and the service was good.

We needed something to eat for a late lunch after riding the Hop On bus all day. Stumbled upon this and were very pleased! The pizza was so good, and the minestrone soup excellent as well. Order great glasses of wine to go with it. Free Wi-Fi (ask for password). Service friendly and excellent.

Dur de trouver un endroit où l’on mange bien sur London ! Cela a été chose faite avec ce restaurant ! super bon, plats fait dans les règles de l’art italienne, service très sympathique, l’Italie dans le brouillard Londonien quel plaisir !!!!!!

Estábamos buscando un lugar donde comer, con el temor de que nos encontrábamos en una de las zonas más turísticas de Londres (usualmente los lugares muy turísticos son caros y no hay buena comida).Sin embargo al pasar vimos que era una especie de buffet de pizza por 10 libras, nos llamó la atención, eramos 9, así que entramos.Cada persona pidió una pizza y fue más que suficiente, no alcanzamos a comer otra pero las pizzas eran a la leña y las combinaciones y sabores una delicia.El servicio es excleente y no tuvimos que esperar y eso que pedimos las nueve pizzas al mismo tiempo.Vale la pena visitarlo.. y muchas veces

Me sentí indignado como me sentí engañado y te dejes engañar. Fui al restaurante en 30 / 05 / 2018 en la hora del almuerzo y hay un post que dice: 10 libras ilimitado pizzas caseras. Cuando fui a, el camarero me dijo que no es posible para una persona. Literalmente: "1 persona, no". No especifican que en cualquier parte de las críticas. Es claramente un engañando a la comercialización.Pregunté por qué 3 personas mínimo y me dijo: 1. , Pizza Hut, en Brighton, la casa de la pizza, Puedes puede así, EN ESTADOS UNIDOS, CICI, puede. Entiendo que puede decidir hacer un mínimo de personas, pero ponerlo en el post. Ubicado en una zona bastante céntrica de Londres y por qué no decirlo en un barrio bastante pijo. Nos atrajo de este sitio que tenía una oferta, al mediodía al menos, de toda la pizza que pudieras comer a 10 libras por persona. Las pizzas son artesanas y están bastante ricas no ejercimos nuestro derecho de pedir más pizzas porque con una por persona acabamos bastante llenos. Creo que es un buen sitio porque ubicado en el barrio en el que está, te puedes encontrar un lugar en el que te asesinen la cartera o que te engañen por ser turista y en este caso no es ninguna de las dos. El local está muy bien decorado y es luminoso y las camareras muy jóvenes y atentas. Para mí es un sitio recomendable, me sorprendió gratamente.

Mi esposa y yo necesitábamos algo antes de ver el fantasma de la Opera y compartir una pizza pequeña era el camino a seguir. Todo estaba fresco como no había manera de que tenía una corteza pre-horneadas. Se dio en el clavo antes del espectáculo y el servicio era genial, amable y profesional. Es un poco caro pero es quizás en esa parte de Londres donde tienes que esperar. Dada la oportunidad, sin duda pruébalo de nuevo y recomiendo probarlo.

Ristorante italiano situato a un passo da Trafalgar Square, la cucina propone piatti sfiziosi. Una nota estremamente positiva va allo staff caldo e gentile.

Nos wen allí para la cena antes del teatro. Ambos pedimos el pollo con patatas fritas, ensalada passos y pan. La ensalada era simplemente lettice deja con poquito de vestirse. Las patatas fritas eran saladas y grasienta y el pollo en una especie de salsa estaba tibia. Regresamos el pollo y después de un tiempo nos dieron otra porción. Esta parte incluso el plato llegó no estaba caliente. Era horrible y casi frío. No les importó nada. El director llegó, pero no se disculpó. Él le preguntó si había cualquier cosa que prefiere y nos dijo que no había 2 posibilidades de hacerlo bien era suficiente y que no estábamos preparados para quedarse allí más tiempo. . También nos dijo que no iban a pagar por la comida que nosotros no hicimos. El gerente dijo que ok go y caminamos. . Realmente fue una de mis peores experiencias restaurante.

Wir wollten im Rahmen unseres London-Ausflugs einmal zu einem Italiener gehen und haben uns nach längerem Suchen für das Assaggetti am Haymarket entschieden, da das Erscheinungsbild von außen sehr schön und die Preise akzeptabel waren. Das Restaurant wird von echten Italienern geführt.

Un vrai resto italien qui cuisine avec d excellents produits . Les pizzas sont très bonnes et le choix des plats même si il est un peu restreint ne propose que des bonnes choses . La décoration est agréable. Nous y sommes allés deux soirs de suite .

Me and my boyfriend visited Assaggetti ad part of a Theatre experience. We were treated by the the manager on arrival and seated promptly. The service was brilliant, the waitress was very attentive and the food came very quickly. For such simple food it was delicious. The nutella gnoccetti was particularly good. The only thing I would say is that there is a smaller menu for the theatre deal and not much choice as me and my boyfriend needed vegetarian options. It would have been nice to have 1 pizza on the menu. Overall a great experience and I would definitely return again.

Visitado ayer antes de ir al teatro en la tarde. Estupenda comida. Tenía el pollo, tocino y avoado ensalada. Absolutamente encantador. Mucho pollo y beicon. Mi marido tenía una enorme pizza picante. Se veía preciosa. Una jarra de vino blanco acompañada. Muy limpio y el servicio era rápido y el personal amable.

Miramos este restaurante (y uso el término levemente) y el de al lado, pero decidí Assagetti! Que fue el primer error. Ordenar comida (y yo uso esa palabra ligeramente también) fue el segundo y comenzando a consumir dicho comida era la tercera. No puedo entender por qué este lugar es conseguir buenas críticas. Lasaña era tan obviamente recalentados y terriblemente salado, carbonara era bastante pesado y sin sabor y gambas somos como comer goma, claramente no es fresco y que podía hacer de las tiras de calabacín. La única cosa que era soportable era el vaso de vino, Coca-Cola Light, agua del grifo y nuestra camarera. Nos dejó a 3 / 4 de nuestra "comida" y aunque nos ofrecieron reemplazos nos negamos. La factura de la comida fue escrito, pero todavía tenían el atrevimiento de agregar un cargo por servicio, que nos negamos a pagar. Este restaurante es claramente utilizando su ubicación, ya que es punto de venta porque sin duda no es su calidad de comida. Mi consejo es que tendrás una mejor experiencia comer en Mac Donald's y eso es mucho decir! !

Decidimos ir para almorzar cerca de su Teatro majestys. Al principio pensé que el lugar parecía agradable. El personal parecía amable. Inodoros estaban abajo que necesitaba. Como para las comidas. . . . Puaj. No cocinadas. No es lo que esperarías de un restaurante italiano. Tendrá mejor suerte con una comida de microondas! ! ! Caro para un vaso de vino, pero la única cosa que era adecuado. No comer la mitad de la comida. No y no pagar por eso. No lo recomendaría y volvería a evitar en el futuro.

Reservamos una mesa a través de un sitio web llamado ResDes. La reserva de mesa fue confirmado tres veces después de correos electrónicos desde el restaurante en sí. Era un teatro después de cenar nos esperaba. Sin embargo, cuando llegamos a las 6. 15:00 el restaurante estaba abarrotada y muy animada y bulliciosa. Nos dimos cuenta de que estaban teniendo problemas con nuestra reserva. Nos llevaron a su zona de estar en la planta baja, que sólo se puede describir como una mazmorra. No había otros comensales y era extremadamente oscuro y sillas estaban apilados sobre mesas, en otras palabras, parecía terrible. Escuché unos 4 otros comensales, pero este hecho no la más mínima diferencia en el ambiente terrible, sobre todo comparado con la atmósfera. No dejar, en un huff mucho para asombro del jefe. Podría estropear lo que había sido un día maravilloso y viaje de teatro. Encontramos otro restaurante que hemos visitado antes y tenía una comida maravillosa. No nos intento otra vez y no acaba de entender por qué nuestra reserva era completamente deshecha ya que había confirmado a nosotros 3 veces. No manipulados por el gerente del todo bien. No puedo comentar sobre la comida porque no tengo ninguna! ! !

Siamo andati a cena domenica 8 aprile, abbiamo trovato un ambiente pulito e cordiale,nonostante non avessimo prenotato ci hanno fatto accomodare ( eravamo in 6 ), un servizio efficiente e rapido,noi abbiamo preso il giropizza ( gustosa e croccante ) devo ammettere molto buono il rapporto qualità e prezzo, infine il caffè espresso ottimo come in Italia, i camerieri sempre attenti e gentili,un ringraziamento al signor Ciro Amato che ci ha consigliato il menù.

Best pizza so far in my life! It was excellent, good menu choice, staffs were very good and friendly. Very good price too and perfect before a theatre evening. Definitely recommended.

El servicio era bueno, rápido y educado pero nuestras pizzas eran terribles. Aguado tomate de lata en la base pizza repugnante que significaba descuidadas tuvimos que quejarnos. Se factura pero aun aplicado a resto de factura. Había una sincera disculpa, pero por favor no tratar a los turistas como presa fácil al teatro. Debe verificar lo que enviar especialmente con Pizza express al otro lado de la carretera. Profundamente decepcionado.

Eran las 10 el restaurante estaba vacío pero nos negaron la entrada por un chico diciendo que estaba completo! ? Cómo puede ser un restaurante vacío a las 10:00pm completamente lleno y se niegan a servir sólo a 3 personas? !

The location means the restaurant prob hasn’t had to be good because it’s opposite the theatre. I didn’t enjoy the ricotta pizza at all and didn’t finish it which is rare for me.

My husband and I were going to Her Majesty's theatre and this was the nearest restaurant. We hadn't booked so they took us downstairs.

I had my 40th Birthday meal here with friends and family. The food was fantastic, a great variety and very tasty.

Serendipity at work here. Having failed to get in to a few other places on Haymarket, pre- theatre on a Thursday evening we tried Assaggetti. We were welcomed and accommodated right away. The menu is short, but enticing, traditional Italian. Staff are friendly and helpful and the food great. Heartily recommend the pizzas. Large, rectangular and flavoursome. Try the orange and chocolate cheesecake. Reasonably priced drinks. Will come again.

This is a pleasant restaurant but the waitress forgot our bread and olive oil and another table got the wrong starter

Called in as we were going to see the magnificent Rat Pack musical in the theatre opposite. The food was ok, but that very typical not quite up to the mark style that many Italian restaurants serve. The pizza dough was not very tasty, burnt nastily around the edges, the speciality chicken dish was just ok, the fries went hard & cold before we'd finished, the salad was ok, we left but couldn't really admit to having enjoyed it that much.

We booked this restaurant to celebrate a 40th Birthday. The restaurant came on reccomdndation and I have go say we were not disappointed. The food was excellent and the staff were very attentive. The whole evening was a complete success and everyone left feeling well fed and happy. The menu is varied and competitively priced, and the staff were able to deal with our large group as well as the rest of the restaurant on a busy Saturday evening. We will be back again in the future.

Aber der Service ließ wirklich zu Wünschen über! keine Konversation, Kellnerin war ziemlich jung und sah aus als hätte sie null Bock .. schlenderte nur herum und als wir fragten welchen Wein sie als ,, süß“ empfehlen würde, bzw empfehlen würde gab es als Antowrt nur: dry.

Everything was perfect really good service especially for this time of the year will add it to my little black book of great places to eat. They helped us split the bill individually as well so it was easy to pay off the bill.

Perfectly located in the center of London and right next to the theaters. The personnel is very friendly and the food is delicious. The personnel even asks you before they take your order if you need to go the theater, so they know if they need to deliver it al a bit faster or not. Definitely worth your while.

Called in to this place as other restaurants were full on a Saturday night. The staff were very friendly and helpful but the menu is quite small and restricted. Prices are expensive compared to other restaurants on both food and drink. My lasagne was dry and seemed to of come straight from a microwave. My partners spicy tuscan sausage pizza was ok but not the best.

In occasione di una breve week end londinese, capitiamo in questo locale. Caldo ed accogliente. Ci sentiamo subito a nostro agio con il personale, italiano, cortese ed ospitale. Sembrava una cena a casa di amici. Servizio impeccabile e cucina degna di nota. In particolare un fagottino di melanzane ed un piatto di tagliatelle con gamberi e pomodorini. Al lado hay otro italiano y nos decantamos por este. No nos arrepentimos. Compartimos una ensalada caprese (el queso estaba delicioso) y pedimos para cenar dos platos de pasta (muy bien elaborada, al dente). El postre pastel de queso con chocolate, impresionante. Cobran 4 libras por servicio/propinas añadidas.

We came without any reservation. They kindly found us a table for two. We ordered Grilled Lamb chops, pizza prosciutto & rocket, pasta zucchini & prawns. The waiter told that the meat will be about 20 minutes but all order was carried about 10-12 minutes maximum. The dishes was delicious as in Italy. Fast and nice service and delicious food-worth it! Recommend from all my heart!

This restaurant was right opposite the Royal Haymarket theatre and as it was cold and we were hungry we decided to get some pizza (and hot tea for me!). We had 45 minutes and said as much to the maitre de. We were told they couldn’t promise we would be able to eat in time but we decided to risk it. Our meal was brought to us quite quickly and the pizza was very delicious. The restaurant had a lovely vibe - reallyambient and warm - just what we needed on a bitterly cold day. The staff were friendly and attentive. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

Vi skulle på teater for å se Phantom of the opera og stoppet her for en matbit. Hun bestilte pasta og jeg bestilte glutenfri pizza. Begge var veldig fornøyd. Servitøren vår kunne ikke så mye, men det gikk greit, hun var trivelig! Irriterende at servitørene skifter musikk hele tiden, stort sett etter deres smak og ikke vår. Grei plass.

I had looked on Trip Advisor for suggestions around Haymarket. And for some reason, Assaggetti got a good review. So we decided to go there before the theatre. I eat out a lot and this was one of the most expensive, mediocre experiences I've had in London in 25 years. Honestly, I can cook better than the chef. There was no inspiration and the food was barely warm. The staff were ok (in a begrudging kind of way) and the toilets have seen better days. The wine was WAY overpriced. Really disappointing. Afterwards, we noticed a very cool Sicilian restaurant around the corner on Panton Street - go there. The food will be more interesting, better cooked and probably better value.

We were a party of four the other night, and we had a wonderful dinner. The service was warm and welcoming, and our meals were awesome. Pizza, gnocchi, mussels, pasta, tiramisu...all of it was excellent, and we would certainly return to Assaggetti another time. What an awesome location in central London for a fantastic dinner. This place has GREAT food - we had the burratta and the meat board (both £6 each I think - a REAL bargain) for starters with a pizza and lamb chops for mains. Absolutely all freshly cooked, good quality ingredients (oh that burratta! The dough on the pizza!), really good value (especially when there are some really expensive mediocre chain restaurants around), lovely staff and they do a good selection of wine in carafes and decent beer on tap. Definitely recommend! We're back again in a few weeks, we liked it that much!!

Great location after collecting your tickets for Phantom. The ad says £16-£17 for main and starter, but after drinks, service charge and VAT, you are looking at £30 per person. Good meal. Good ambience. Good service. And convenient for Phantom lovers. Enjoy!

Cuidado com a pizza Toscana apimentada..... vem muito apimentada.O salmão servido com feijão verde também é legal, mas a porção é pequena, se estiver com fome mesmo... peça mais alguma coisa.

Al werden we heel vriendelijk onthaald, de serveerster die ons later werd toegewezen leek haar werk niet leuk te vinden. Ik vroeg haar of de pizza's in een steenboren werden gebakken (en mijn Engels is best wel meer dan okay, als ik zo eerlijk mag zijn) en tot drie keer toe kreeg ik een antwoord die totaal niet bij de vraag aansloot. Haar Engels was dus duidelijk niet okay...niet heel handig in deze. Daarna leek er geen lachje meer bij haar af te kunnen, helaas.Omdat de pizza's volgens haar niet in een steenoven werden gebakken koos ik voor de gnocchi. Deze was erg papperig en het portie was klein, zeker voor de 12 pond die het kostte. Ik kies volgende keer een andere tent als ik in Londen trek krijg in Italiaans.Geen aanrader dus, wat mij betreft.

This was the nearest restaurant to Her Majesty's Theatre and after collecting tickets, we had just under 1 hour before our show. We stepped in asking for a table for 2, and immediately the server noticed the tickets in our hand and helped ensure our food came quickly. We ordered the 2-course dinner which was quite worthwhile. The appetizers - calamari & scallops were delicious! My main, pasta with prawns & zucchini was good, unfortunately the linguine clams were a bit tasteless. Nevertheless, we appreciated the speedy service very much.

Petit dîner d'avant spectacle en couple dans cet italien proche de Piccadilly Circus et situé dans Haymarket la rue des théâtres...excellente nourriture italienne, nous avons pris les Lasagnes Bolognese copieuses, goûteuses , et le Risotto crémeux à souhait ....la charcuterie servie à la table à côté avait bonne allure ...le prosecco en carafe est très bien, frais à point. À signaler mais c'est indiqué sur la carte que le pain (en option) est facturé.... Le service est parfait : professionnel, attentif, courtois, on est loin du laisser-aller parisien dans certains endroits....bref une bonne adresse pour la nuit londonienne avant ou après un spectacle.

Calves liver is one of my favorite food, but it is not very often you can find it now. It was well cooked and the wine comes along well, so what else? Pans cotta was excellent, with light taste of black current. Liked it very much!

We were on our way to Piccadilly Circus from Trafalgar Square, when it started to rain. We figured we might as well eat and happened into Assagettis. The staff was attentive and friendly and the menu was diverse. My husband wanted to spaghetti bolognese, but they were out, so he settled on the lasagna bolognese. I had their carbonara. It was very good. I think it had cream in it unlike the kind I make at home. I also had their house salad with dressing which was nice and light. It was a good filling meal to get us on our feet to our next adventure.

So the food is delicious. I'm half Italian and I thought the food was really tasty and I don't really understand the issues people have with the portion size (and I definitely like my food!).Decor is fairly nice, and the tableware and napkins are stylish.The problem is the service. I certainly didn't experience them being very rude, I just felt like I was a bit of an imposition at times, and several waiters ignored me when I came in despite there only being two tables with people on them. Also I had to knock off a point for adding the 12.5% service to the bill (which wasn't deserved) and also gave me no option to opt out when I paid.I'd be tempted to go again for the food, but I can think of better places in London!

Le cadre du restaurant est vraiment sympa, les plats sont généreux et la note n'est pas trop salée.Les serveurs sont vraiment accueillant (très loin des serveurs parisiens) et de bons conseils.

Sono spesso a Londra per lavoro e sono un'accanita fan della cucina italiana dunque frequento se mi è possibile dei ristoranti italiani.Dopo numerose delusioni arriva Assaggetti. Un ambiente elegante, caldo, cordiale con personale davvero gentile.Un menù semplice con poche ma buone scelte. Eravamo in tre e abbiamo preso tre antipasti e la focaccia della Nonna che è una delle più buone io abbia mai mangiato fuori dall'Italia.La pasta e la carne (tagliata) erano eccellenti a livello di gusto e cottura. I contorni ben preparati, leggeri e gustosi. Un commensale ha preso la pizza che è risultata di ottima fattura sia nella pasta che nel condimento.Abbiamo scelto anche una bottiglia di Montepulciano!!Tutto questo per 91 GBP nel centro di Londra.Torneremo di sicuro!

Enjoyed a family meal here as a group of 3 adults and 2 teenagers. I really liked my meal and the decor. All felt the service was a bit slow and the food slightly overpriced. I would go back alone possibly if passing just for the spaghetti carbonara, which was very much to my taste.

On arrival for a pre-theatre meal, we were asked if we’d booked, polite and a nice thought but unnecessary as only four other tables had diners … which should have been a warning as most other chain-type restaurants we passed nearby were full.The waitress took our drinks order (couldn’t quite believe the cost of the wine on offer, but hey, we’re [nearly] in theatreland) but no offer of any water (unusual) given the price or any real interest shown, just going through the routine. My main course, chicken parmigiana and `roast` potatoes (which arrived late) consisted of a very small plate on which were to hidden a couple of small slices of chicken covered in an insipid, bland yellowy `sauce` which tasted of flour (or is that the supermarket style powdered parmesan?) and sour milk with a slight smell of parmesan. Meal was on the cold side of warm, why? The `roast` potatoes were sauté, do they not know there is a difference?My partner’s main was a seafood tagliatelle contained so much garlic and salt as to be a real struggle to eat. No time to re-order or wait for a replacement so just ploughed on through it. It was nasty.Not once were we asked if the food was OK. When we asked for the bill, it was just left on our table with no comment, questions or even a smile … remember `service`? It seemed that no-one here really cared, about us, our meal, the service or our whole dining experience. As other reviewers have said, this place is over-priced and with a 12.5% service charge added … for what?! We received meals delivered to our table which we paid for, no `service` in any way.Was this restaurant bad? No. Would we opt to come here again or recommend this place to others? No. Just don’t bother as they don’t seem to either. Plenty of other options nearby. Something has gone seriously wrong here. Owners/managers, please investigate, up your game and try caring about what is on offer and why. We look forward to dining out and appreciate that we’re fortunate to be able to experience food of all styles, types and origin in London as well as at a range of prices, but this restaurant and everything about it fell way short. We like to keep an open mind and try new (to us) places but here? Disappointing. Disappointed.

Nice place with friendly staff. My main meal was fine, the lasagne my wife had was a bit overcooked and dry. Don't go for basement seating if you want a mobile data signal at the same time. Perfect for pre-theatre dinner situated next to Her Majesty's Theatre.

We chose Assagetti for a pre-theater meal on our recent trip to London. The ambiance is warm and friendly, the food was delicious, and I even got a perfectly made Vodka Martini, sometimes hard to do away from my home city of Chicago.

Following our visit yesterday I would not use this resturant again. We were given great tickets for west end show to include a meal. However the meal spoilt out specail day. The starter of meatbals was very small and was not offered with any bread. My main course of tempra fish consisted of squid in batter and whitebait both of which had no taste. Looking at others plates from this show menu other customers seemed to have similarly poor food.A simply poor experiance and cannot be justified as a meal experiance. Sorry you simply have to do better.

We had the set lunch menu at £16.95. This was for 2 courses. The starters were very good and tasty. The main courses especially the pizza were very poor value for the money. Very little topping, not like any of the photos that are on their website. So you really feel ripped off. Then they add an extra 12.5% service charge for bringing six dishes to a table. Not once were we asked or offered anything extra or even if we were enjoying ourselves. Will not be returning as the food was not up to any standard and no customer service. Very poor and a top off!

Went here as only place with a table. It was rubbish. The food was expensive and rubbish. Asked for a salmon salad and it came as smoked salad and letter for £11.50. The pasta had a couple of tomatoes and the pizzas were soggy in the middle. Don't go here even if there is no where else better to starve.

Nice welcome, beautiful restaurant and attentive staff. Choose the pre-show dinner special for £16.95, nice selection of antipasti 1st course and main courses, drinks and dessert extra. Throughly enjoyable dinner right up till the 12% service charge they add to your bill with no pre-warning (maddening)

The 2 course meal deal is a bit of a farce. The starters don't come with bread (the burrata is just served up in a bowl - most peculiar). The meat mains don't come with anything either. The sides are hugely overpriced (4 pounds for a slice of foccacia).The food was tasty but I wouldn't come here again as it's terrible value for money.

Assaggetti was the most convenient place for a post-matinee early evening supper after seeing a play at the Theatre Royal opposite. They could not find our booking but seated us anyway. We were placed in a sort of side corridor but this was a kindly thought to avoid us having to climb the stairs to the main seating area which looked airy and spacious.The food, wine and service were all adequate but not worthy of the bill for well over £90 for two including 12.5% service charge. One pays for the location.We both started with "octopus salad" which turned out to be delicious octopus but served on a bed of oily fried potato slices which were barely cooked and served tepid, rather than the greenery that we had imagined. We ordered some bread and left the potato.My main course was liver and "roast" potatoes; this is my test of a first visit to an Italian restaurant. The liver came in a pool of thin gravy, no onions and no sage discernible, and the dish was far from hot. My companion chose spaghetti alla carbonara which was OK.My dessert of "forest fruit pannacotta", was a plain pannacotta with a thin smear of tasteless red juice and garnished with one raspberry. My companion just took a coffee.We drank a bottle of San Pellegrino and a Montepulciano d'Abruzzo which was very thin compared to those I am used to. Most of the wines on the list seemed seriously overpriced.The service was very friendly but slapdash, and we had to be constantly asking for things to be brought, brought back or removed, while the waiter was constantly being corrected by other staff - maybe a newcomer.Next time we shall try one of the neighbouring competition.

Buon ristorante in cui è possibile mangiare diversi piatti tipici italiani. Posizione centrale, vicino a Trafalgar Square e Piccadilly Circus. Personale italiano molto disponibile e cordiale. Rapporto qualità/prezzo, vista anche la posizione centrale del ristorante, molto buono.

Great location, excellent typical original Italian food cooked and served by Italians. This makes the difference !!! Special thanks to Giovanni who received us suggesting the food and the wine that we all loved. We will come back soon for an other unforgettable Italian food experience in London.

Avevamo scelto il musical "the Phantom of the Opera" ed "assaggetti" è proprio di fronte al teatro. Servizio rapido e cortese. Cibo nella media, più che accettabile per essere lontano dall'Italia (pizza, gnocchi alla sorrentina...) Rapporto qualità prezzo più che buona.

We popped in for a light lunch mid week so was quiet as guess this place is popular before the theatre. We also had my 10 month old son with us and the staff could not do enough for us. So welcoming and making such a fuss of him.We went for the 2 course option but just ordered 2 between 3 of us. Glad we did as the pizzas were huge. The house red was also good. Great service and food.

we were hesitant to come here after seeing all the tripadvisor reviews- we kept in mind not to order wine by the glass and sticked to getting pasta. our meal was great! the only thing that dampened our experience was the staff's attitude- needs a serious fix but for a pre theatre meal this was great, and it was close to our venue too
